Requiem stood rigid next to the crumbling grey building. Something about this entire mission didn't sound right. Assassination a government figure was one thing, taking out one with such low security was another. This was a trap, he could feel it. He glanced over his shoulder at the sound of footsteps and silently lowered himself to the ground. Three guards on the eastern wing of the building and two on the left, there had to be more. Where they inside of the building? He'd sweeped the entire perimeter three times checking for anything that would get him killed. There was nothing there. The camera's didn't even move. Requiem went back over the briefing in his head.

"His name is Yaguro Shane. Go in, kill him, get out. Report back to me when it's done," his boss had told him. "The guy is big time government associate, I need him dead. He's been interfering with my money exchange. And if I have no money, you have no money. Now get moving." Requiem didn't care for the money, he was in it for the sport. It was sickening addiction that he couldn't get over. That sweet rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins as he infiltrated mass complexes filled with hundreds of security that he could either evade or break straight through and at the end lay his grand prize. He could have gotten that same feeling during a regular mission assigned by his Kage, but there was something about knowing at any moment someone could find him out that enhanced the feel.

The footsteps now gone he looked from left to right and scaled the building until he was at the top. Slipping over the side he laid on his stomach for a brief moment. Listening for the sounds of his movement being noticed. Nothing. He got up, not completely, in more of a crouch and made his way to the vent, pulling it open he dropped down. He wouldn't need any light for this operation. Glares tended to give you away and get you killed. He wasn't here to be killed. He was here to kill. Sliding down the vent as humanly possible he landed at the bottom of the shoot. From where he stood he could see four guards. But there were more in the room. He couldn't count them all, but he could here them. Requiem smirked behind his mask. Raising the vent he turned around and leaned back, so he went head first letting his body fall out, but his legs stayed in the vent. Hanging upside down he retrieved his first weapon. He aimed it at the light, alerting the guards when it shattered too pieces.

Pulling himself back up he dropped down and landed in the mist of more guards than he could count. He'd made a mistake. He should have kept moving until he knew how many were in the room. The lack of light would help in the situation, but that didn't mean he would make it through. Quickly surveying the room he dove towards a pillar as the kunais begin to fly. "Low security on the outside, should have expected that there would be a ton on the inside." His back against the pillar he went to the left and sent a kunai sailing across the room. Maneuvering himself away from the kunai coming in his own direction he tossed a smoke bomb in their direction. The second the smoke started, he was on the guards. He didn't have any partners, so everyone in this room was a target.

Not bothering to kill them all he went straight for the door, bursting through it he came into an empty room. "What is this?" He looked around the room. This hadn't been in the map and he'd swiped it from a guard about a week ago before coming here. Is it genjutsu? He stepped back, the noise behind him had died down. He couldn't go back through that door, no. He had to go forward and find his way through. The mission wasn't finished. Starting forward he went towards the opposite side. The more he walked, the farther away things became. Turning back to the other door it was gone. This had to be some sort of genjutsu. Turning back the one he'd been heading to was gone as well. He was starting to feel a bit dizzy. Stepping forward the world did a one-eighty and he hit the floor, passing out.

Artemis walked from the shadows,smirking."So,a little sneak inside the fortress,"he whispered,leaning down and examining him.His bird,Braveheart,landed on his arm,examining his as well."You have excellent eyes,Braveheart,perfect for this situation,"he said.He picked this intruder up and continued his genjutsu on him,making sure he stayed out.

He took him out the back and to a shed that held interrogation devices.He set him in the chair,chaining his wrists behind his back.He examined his outfit and took all his weapon,taking his shirt and upper wear in case he held any escape devices.He leaned back against the door,releasing the genjutsu and awaiting his awakening.

He could feel the cold chains against his skin. He could hear the breathing of another in the room. Only one person. Opening his eyes to see where he was, Requiem's vision showed him the blurry figure of a male figure. They were inside of a shed. He could scent sweat, his own. Oil, and something else. Something that smelled like, blood. Requiem gently tested the chains. They were strong. If he wanted out it'd mean cutting through his skin. Requiem didn't want that. He was cold, his shirt was missing and his weapons were gone. What did this guy have in mind? Did he want information? Did he want to know who Requiem worked for?

Requiem nearly smirked. He wouldn't crack. He'd never been caught before though. This was new to him. He looked around the dim lit room. It was disgusting in here. The paint was peeling off the walls. He had to think straight, getting off track would only be a waste of precious time. The clock was ticking. How had he been spotted? He searched the room and found a bird feather. So there had been eyes in the sky. He'd need to pay more attention for that kind of stuff in the future.

There was one exit, the door. He'd have to go through the guy though. Requiem relaxed in the chair. He had to think cool and collected. The chair was cold against his bare back. He wanted his shirt back, it was hard to think while cold. He'd let the ask a few questions before asking a few of his own. He wondered how far they were from the target point. Not too far he was willing to guess. Drawing a limp body could get exhausting. He would know, he did it for a living.

Requiem scratched the side of his leg with his foot. The guy had failed to tie them down and it gave him easy access to the hidden blade inside of his boot. If it wasn't there, then there would be no way for him to get out. He had to get out and complete this mission. If he failed now his record would no longer be flawless. He took pride in little, but his record was one he took great pride in.

Artemis smirked as he awoke.He stayed silent as he began walking around him.He examined the tools he'd obtained from this intruder and obtained a slight understanding of his planning.He picked up one of many buckets of ice water and tossed it on him before tossing the bucket itself it him,letting it miss by less that an inch on purpose.

"Welcome,intruder.My name is of no importance to you,but you'll need to tell me your own,"he said before pulling his mask off his face and tossing it aside."I have no intention of letting someone who would dare intrude upon my employer's domain leave without remembering never to again.But,for the sake of your life,because I just don't know how brutal I can be on ones mind and body,you should tell me what it is you're doing here,"he said,giving a bit of a smile but behind it was pure hatred and want to deliver pain.
