Jaymaru sat in the main room reading a magazine. She was just taking the time to relax since there was nothing else to do for the moment. Just enjoying the day and relaxing. The Akatsuki should have more of these days. Bringing her legs up so they were on the couch she tucked them to the side and leaned against the armrest, getting comfortable. "...in the darkness was the last survivor of the massacre, or so Evelyn believe," Jaymaru read in a whisper. "She was oblivious to the fact that David was still alive, though badly wounded outside the shed that was only a few yards off from herself." Jaymaru paused. "Yes, David is still alive, which means he and Evelyn will be able to escape together," she breathe in relief. Jaymaru herself was unaware that someone was approaching the main room.

Shizuka walked into the main room to find his partner Jaymaru sitting in reading a magazine. Shizuka was dressed in a grey jacket and a black and grey striped shirt and he also wore grey sweat pants. This was his first official day off. Shizuka then walked over and grabbed a bottle of water and sat on the other couch.He then pulls out a book and starts to read it.Shizuka then pulls out a smoke"you want one?" he asked Jaymaru"also do you mind if i smoke in here?"

Jaymaru blinked and looked at Shizuka. "No thank you," she said mildly. She was already getting older, she didn't need anything spending up the process of death. "And as much as I would prefer you not to smoke in here," she started lightly. "I don't think my option really matters." She turned her head back to her book and begin to read silently. "Do as you wish."

Shizuka puts back all the smokes and continue reading the book"Your decision does matter if we are partners your decision matters just as much" Shizuka then walked to the kitchen and brings back two boxes of dumplings and hands Jaymaru a box. He then sits back down and starts to read silently

Jaymaru sighed. Shizuka was being kind and she'd been a complete jerk. No she felt guilty. She shook her head and took one of the boxes. "Thank you," she said as she begin to read her book once more. This time, she read in her head. "What are you reading?" She asked curiously. She figured it was probably a magazine or something, but casual conversation never killed anyone, unless you said the wrong thing that is.

"I'm reading A Clash Of Kings " shizuka told Jaymaru.This was the first time they had a actual talk since he joined the akatsuki.Shizuka started to remember the day he first cam to the akatsuki it was dark and everyone had failed their mission. After awhile shizuka put the book down and started to paint his nails a dark purple."So Jaymaru what was your life like before coming here?" Shizuka asked jaymaru."You should also be careful about what you say because you don't know who might hear you definitely if the person only catch part of it "shizuka said refering to her little reading.

Jaymaru looked at her book when Shizuka said she should be careful. Who was this kid anyway? She kept from frowning and then answered his question. "It was nice. I've lived a good while, so I've got family back where I'm from and a brother. An Ex-Husband, four kids, the list goes on and on," she said with a shrug. "Apparently I have a grandson I didn't know about as well," she mumbled. "But it might still be just a rumor." She looked to the other Akatsuki. "What was your life like?"

Shizuka looks down when Jaymaru asked him about his life" I..I had a rough life my father is Death himself which means I will have to be the next Grim Reaper soon." Shizuka said "I had to take the souls of many people some of the people i felt a strong connection with like if you die i will hate to have to remove your soul from your body." Shizuka told Jaymaru. Suddenly a message comes through the floor with a seal on it reading the message to himself Shizuka gets up and open a portal walking through it returning in three minutes back to Jaymaru."Well I have to got take some souls do you want anything while i'm out?" Shizuka asked Jaymaru

Jaymaru listened silently. She didn't find the story to be of much interest. So what if he was going to be the next Grim Reaper, he should suck it up and be proud. Hell, it might just put him in good standings with Deidara. One less shinobi was a good thing, right? The purple haired woman gave a shrug when Shizuka left for those three minutes. Instead of questioning it, she went back to reading her book, looking up only when he said he had to go. "Goodbye," she said before returning back to her book once more. "And I'm fine without," she responded in regards to his question.
