It wasn't like I hadn't seen it coming before, Ginger thought. He told me it'd come to this eventually, and now it has. Ginger looked off the edge of the balcony into the village. This was better than her home on the edge of the forest, but something was missing. She shrugged and kicked her foot against the pearl stilt. Storm Kage.....that's what I am.

Ginger sighed and jumped onto the edge of the balcony and took a seat and looked over her new home. The wind blew, but there wasn't a storm coming, not yet. She smiled. She wondered how this life would go. Better than the last maybe, it all depends. Closing her eyes she tried to remember the memories of her past life but they had vanished. "Oh well, I saw this coming too, no point in fretting over it," she said pulling a string of red hair from her view.

Ginger leaned back some and pulled out her blade. She'd become very skilled with it over the time she'd had it. She titled it some as the blade caught a flame. "Deadly," she whispered as it went out. Ginger turned her head towards the door. Someone was coming. At least they don't have to knock, it's wide open, she thought rolling her eyes. I hate it for people to knock. She then turned back towards the village. "A New Era has finally began."

Kinaga knew that she'd already noticed he was there. But he knew too, that she didn't know it was him. So he'd give her a little surprise. He quickly and silently ran up behind her and gave her a playful hug, being careful that she didn't fall off the edge. At that moment he felt much more childish than someone his age should. He put his head on her shoulder playfully and smiled at her. "Hello there Gingy. Hope I didn't startle ya too much."

Ginger looked at Kinaga. He was one of the few people that she chose to remember. "I Kinny," she said turning around to look at him. "I don't think you startled me, but I wasn't expecting visitors either, it's good to see you again," she said. "How have you been and how on earth did you find me, I don't remember telling you about me becoming Kage of the Storm." She smiled, every time she thought of the word Storm his name suddenly popped into her head. I wonder if that's why I chose this place.

Kinaga stood up straight and put his tongue against the inside of his mouth. "You're right, you didn't tell me about it, and I had a hell of a time trying to find you too." He leaned against the edge of the balcony and looked out at the Storm Valley. "I can't even remember the last time I was up here. Not since Izan was alive, I think."

Ginger gave a small smile. "Sorry, i wasn't planning this, but something came up and it was important that I did this. I would have told you, but....I couldn't find you either," she said. She looked down at her village. Or maybe....I wasn't trying to look. She gave a small sigh. Ginger then looked at Kinaga. "Izan, I wonder how he's doing right now," she whispered half to herself. "How've you been?"
