Kazuya walked towards the eastern side of the rogue forest where he remembered that was where Ginger lived. It was around afternoon and sunny. Kazuya was walking with his hood up, looking down, a blank expression on his face. He was a ersatz, a creature only heard of in myths. It was an artificial lifeform. It had never been successfully made until Kazuya was created. He was the only one of his kind. He was a Hybrid Ersatz. He wouldn't tell anyone, that would only bring trouble. He sighed. He was in bad enough as it was with everyone thinking he was a normal hybrid. But Ersatz were thought to be evil; a creation of the devil himself. When he thought devil, the only thing that would come to his mind was an image of that bastard Kaz. He had to find him...he had to kill him...he'd become obsessed with the thought of killing Kaz the moment he'd gotten his memories back.

As he went further into the eastern section of the forest, he spotted a house. That must be it.... he thought plainly. He walked up to it and knocked on the door.

Ginger had been busy all day with filling the house with things she liked and needed. She sighed as someone knocked on the door. "Who's that," she asked quietly. She stood up from the box she was rumbling through and alked down the hall to the door. This house was much smaller than her former house. It wasn't a two story anymore and everything seemed smaller. She sighed and opened the door. There stood Kazuya. "Hey," she said. "What's up?" She asked.

He blinked, wondering if she forgot that they had planned a sparring match for that day. "Uhh, the other day we planned a sparring match for today, but if you're busy, I could come back some other time," he said with a shrug. A thought went through his head. She might know where Kaz and that lady are... His eyes went blank for the moment he was thinking that, but he blinked and looked at her. "Uhh, I need to ask you something."

Ginger grinned. "You didn't think I forgot about you, did you?" She asked with a small wave to dismiss the question. She then studied him for a second wondering what he was thinking. "Uh yeah Kazuya, what do you need?" She asked.

Kazuya bit his lip lightly. "You said you travel alot, right? Well, there's these two people I'm looking for, and you might have seen them while you were traveling. One of them is a man with black hair, he'd probably be about 42 right now. His name is Kaz, but I don't know his last name. The other one...the other one is a lady with blond, wavy hair, she'd probably be about 32 now. I..don't remember her name. I was wondering if..while you were traveling you'd seen anyone like that?" He could hear his own heart beating and hoped she'd seen Kaz at the very least.

Ginger looked at Kazuya. "Actually I have seen someone of that description," she said with a small shrug. "I saw a man not to far from here in a town on the edge of the Death," she said. "As for the woman I've got nothing, but I'll keep an eye open for someone like that." She said.

Kazuya's eyes widened slightly, and he could feel his eyes changing to yellow. "You've...seen Kaz....?" His hand almost immediately clenched into a fist. He was near the Death Valley the whole time....and I didn't even know it! I bet he doesn't even know I'm still alive, he probably thinks she killed me that day!

Ginger slowly blinked. "Um yes, I did, I'll show you exactly where I saw him," she said. She had a feeling something was up. She'd seen how angry Kazuya had gotten and how his eyes had changed to yellow. What's with him and this Kaz guy. Their names are similar, could taht me his.... She stopped her thoughts and looked at Kazuya.

Kazuya bit his tongue, trying to remain as calm as he possibly could. "Please do." He could taste blood slowly filling his mouth from biting his tongue so hard. Aside from that, his teeth were already immensely sharp from them changing into fangs. He swallowed the blood that was filling his mouth and continued trying to stay calm.

Ginger went back into the house picked up her blade then came back out locking the door behind her and then started towards the Death. "If you don't mind me asking," she started. "What's the connection between the two of you," she asked.

He started walking next to her and looked at her when she asked the connection. I do mind you asking, he thought. "He wanted to have me killed when I was a child," he said, looking back in front of them. His brain was racking with anger and he could think of nothing else at the moment but slowly killing him. He decided not to tell her why he wanted to have him killed in the first place.

Ginger just kept walking. She didn't say a word while they walked. Once in the village she cut around back and pointed to a house where she'd seen Kaz. "This is the place," she said looking at the house and remember the conversation.

Kazuya could immediately feel his nails turn to claws as he saw the house. Without saying anything he went up to the house and slammed the door open. He looked around, letting out a low growl. The house looked like everything had just been packed up and someone had just left it. There were still some belongings lying around. He walked up to a desk where there was a picture lying on it. It was a picture of Kazuya and the lady when Kazuya was seven. It was written on in red marker: It looks like you're still alive Kazuya. I underestimated your skills to survive. But you won't find me. You will die trying, I can guarantee that. Good luck living a life that doesn't belong to you, Hybrid Ersatz. Kazuya's eyes started gleaming in anger. He's just messing with me now.... Kazuya gave out a scream of anger and toppled the entire desk over. "Dammit!" he yelled, now seething angry. "How could I let him get away like this!" He sat down on the couch with his face in his hands. Kaz's scent wasn't strong, he had probably been gone for a week or so. He'd be long gone by now. Kazuya sniffed the air and looked around. It was faint, but he thought he smelled the lady's scent there too. Of course, it wasn't strong at all, so she'd probably been gone longer than Kaz had. The picture lay on the floor in front of the toppled desk.

Ginger walked after Kazuya and looked around. She took a step back as he went off because the guy wasn't there. She wanted to comfort him but she couldn't. She sighed. "It's not your fault." She said looking down at the picture. "You didn't know he was gone." She clenched her fist. "If your so willing to find him then track him down. You're a Hybrid right? Don't just sit there and cry like a lost three year old, do something!" Her voice was shakey with Anger. Kazuya had come all this way and now he was giving up!!! No!!!

Kazuya looked at her, his eyes cold. "I will never give up trying to find him. Ever. I don't even consider that an option." He sniffed the air a little. "He's been gone for at least a week. He'll keep moving. He...knows my everymove." He put his hand on the back of his neck. "When I was first made, a tracking device was embedded in the back of my neck, right on my spinal cord. It's impossible to remove. So even if I get a couple miles from him, he'll know." He looked down, his eyes cold with hate. "But one day he'll slip. He'll let his guard down. I'll kill him then." I'll destroy him then.... he thought, his mind racing with murderous intent.

Ginger blinked. "I'm..." she stopped. If she said that it would mean trouble. "You can shapes right," she asked. "Like into a wolf, have you tried yet," she asked. She had an idea just in case his answer was the one she wanted, if not she had another idea.

Kazuya looked at Ginger, his eyes softening a little. He looked down, his arms crossed over his legs (if I haven't said, he's still sitting). "I haven't tried. Didn't think it was possible for a hybrid to turn into a wolf," he said calmly. What does that have to do with anything? he thought a little impatiently. He wouldn't say it outloud though. She might have an idea on how to find Kaz....

Ginger smiled. "Actually it is possible," she said with a small shrug. "If you can turn into a wolf Kaz would never be able to out run you no matter how fast he runs. You can track him down in hold the time it took him to run," she said. She gave a small wave of her hand. "If you can't change I've got a back up plan," she said.

Kazuya looked at her. I guess I would be faster as a wolf, but still...... "I have no clue how to change into a wolf," he said plainly. "What's the back up plan?"

Ginger sighed. "I'll track him and stall him, try to push him back this way. You can wait here," she said. She pointed in the other direction. "It'll be risky but worth a try." She said.

Kazuya looked at her and blinked. "Has he met you before? ..........He might know what you're trying to do, you know. And....if you end up in a fight with him....he's both powerful and smart." (if you do track him down the lady will end up being with him) Kazuya shook his head. "I shouldn't be dragging you into my problems like this."

Ginger gave a small shrug. "Well, it's your decision," she said with a small shrug. She didn't want to interfere with Kazuya if he didn't want any help.

Kazuya looked at Ginger. "Do..do you really think it will work though?" I...I don't want to drag her into this....but I'll do anything to kill him....anything.....

Ginger shugged. "You know him better than I do," she said with a shrug. "It's orth a try though," she said. "But that part is up to you."

Kazuya looked down for a second, his eyes narrow. Will he fall for it...? No, he'll know that she's leading him back to me....the only possible way would be to get the tracking device off my neck...but it's impossible....but...what if it was deactivated....? But how would I do that...? He looked at her. "No, the only possible way I could get anywhere near him is if the tracking device was turned off. I don't really have any ideas on how to do that. And the only way I can think of would probably be lethal. Any ideas?"
