Jaymaru sat on the steps inside her house watching the Love and the Loveless on channel 61. She was bored out of her misery, even though it was new episode. As she watched on she noticed a figure pass her window. "Who is this?" She grumbled. It was Christmas, but still she wasn't up for Coralers at her door. Knock. Knock. She stood up and walked to the door. Opening it slightly she said, "Merry Christmas, what can i do for you?"

Itachi walked up to the door and knocked. When Jaymaru opened the door he gave a half smile. "Morning and Merry Chirstmas," he said as he met her eyes. "The time has finally come. The plans are in tact. Are you ready," he asked her. The snow was cold as it fell onto his face. He hoped that she wouldn't leave him in the snow.

Jaymaru's blood ran cold at the site of Itachi at her doorstep. "Why are you in the open like this," she asked as she grabbed him by the sleeve and pulled him in. She sighed nd sat on the couch turning the tv off. She'd just have to catch the show later. "I didn't think you'd show this soon," she said quietly. "Deidara must be rushing hings," she said as she faced Itachi. "What's going on the reason we're progressing?"

Itachi looked suprised as Jaymaru grabbed him by the sleeve and pulled him in, but he went along willingly. As Jaymaru asked him a question he answered with. "There've been some things happeneing lately including the progressing ninja and the truce." He said. "And to answer before you ask immediatly after those ninja are wiped out we're going into a full scale war with the Shinobi," he said. Taking a step forward he said. "Have you said your goodbyes?"

Jaymaru sighed as he spoke of the truce. "I see," she said. This means a Second War with the Akatsuki. One that might cause the end of the Shinobi for good. Then she snapped out of thought at Itachi's voice. "Huh....no I didn't have time to say goodbye to anyone. I hadn't excpected you to show so soon," she said quietly. "And besides, it doesnt matter, they would have just wanted to know where I was going anyway." I don't think i could have lied again. Sighing she stood up. "Let me pack and I'll be ready."

Itachi just nodded and then turned away. "I'll meet you outside, you have fifteen minutes," he said without another word as he opened the door and went outside. The fresh air was a relief, but from what he was curious. Itachi shook his head and put his hand to his face. "Damn it."

Jaymaru waited until he left. "What's his problem," she whispered sadly under her breath. Then she left and went to her room where she prepared her belongings and then walked back down the hall. She sighed slightly as she got to the door. "Is this really worth, can I really do this. What happens when it comes to the fight," she whispered. Shaking her head she looked at the door. "I have to go." She said. She then opened the door and looked at Itachi. "Let's go," she said as she started towards the Akatsuki Hideout.
