Deidara sat in his room. He had finally escaped the friendly and unfriendly welcomes of all the Akatsuki that were currently at the Hideout. And for those who weren't would eventually get the news and probably come and meet with him. Either way they'd no of his presence. He was thinking of how he'd gain control again. He still ahd people who hated him. People like Daya and Suri and Krissy... He sighed. He remembered why he'd even come to his room in the first place. This was where he'd asked Krissy to meet him, if she wanted to atleast. He wanted to talk, but it all depended on her showing up, if she didn't then that was fine, he guessed.

Krissy sat in her room silently, her back against the backboard of her bed. Deidara'd asked her to meet with him in his room. It shocked her that he did, but at the same time it kinda scared her. Despite the fact that she hardly respected him anymore, he was still stronger than her. That wouldn't change no matter how much she trained. It seemed to her that she had no choice but to go, especially if Deidara was to become the leader again. She didn't want to get on his bad side as soon as he'd come back.

Sighing she got up from her bed and walked down the hall and in front of Deidara's door and knocked once. Her voice was cold as she spoke. "You wanted to see me Deidara?"

Deidara turned towards the door. He stood up at the sound of Krissy's voice. It was cold. Tiredly he walked to it and opened it up. "Come in," he said as he waited for her to enter the room so he could close the door. "Do you hate me?" He asked her. It was a simple question that could hold many answers, but he just wanted a simple yes or no. An explanation behind it was not needed.

Krissy came into Deidara's room as he opened the door, and looked up at him as he closed it. Over the year they'd been gone, Krissy didn't grow more than a few centimeters. Not a noticeable difference. Deidara looked tired. Krissy wondered how far he'd traveled to get back to the hideout. As if it mattered. Then he asked her.....if she hated him? Since when did Deidara care what people thought about him? Krissy blinked. Recently she'd made herself believe that she did, but being asked it straight out made it so much harder for her to answer. The man she used to idolize, was now asking her if she hated him. And she was pretty sure the answer was yes. Krissy looked down, her eyes softening. "You betrayed us. Why wouldn't I?" Technically a question to answer a question, but she could think of no other answer, not being completely sure anymore herself.

Deidara wasn't quite satisfied with the answer since it was a questiuon. He didn't feel up to playing mind games with Krissy, though he really had no choice since he had asked her for her time. He took a second to think on the question though. Betrayal was something new. Never had he thought himself as a traitor, but it was time for her to answer his question. "What makes you believe I betrayed you," he asked. How was she even sure he didn't have a purpose to leaving the Akatsuki? He dismissed the question and waited for an answer.

Krissy's gaze shot up to Deidara at his question. What makes me think you betrayed us!? she thought angrily. "You left the akatsuki to crumble! We fell apart as soon as you left! The Akatsuki clan was nearly wiped out because you left!" She yelled as she glared at him. She didn't know what had brought her to say the Akatsuki 'clan', but it didn't matter, because she'd already said it. "You're just as bad as those damn villages that are trying to destroy us!" She yelled angrily. She'd even brought herself to believe this somehow. Her eyes started to glimmer slightly and she quickly wiped the forming tears away. Akatsuki don't cry, she thought to herself. That was the one phrase she'd never forgotten. You're just as bad as Harushi....except you had the guts to come back....

Deidara sat in a chair that was in a corner near the door. "When I left I didn't expect for the Akatsuki to fall apart," he said. "I expected for you all to hold yourselves together with Itachi being here," he said. "But what I didn't expect was for Itachi to leave..." He gave a sigh. "That was the flaw in my plan," he said. "But even so, you all should have been able to hold your ground. But if you must now," he started in a edgy tone. "I left because I was loosing my grip. I couldn't seem to keep you all in check like before so I needed to to think, as long as it took, which would have been longer if I hadn't caught word that the Akatsuki had broken down." Deidara pulled out a kunai and spun it around in his hand. "That's why I came back, but I'll give you a choice. If you want me to leave I'll go, but if you want me to stay then I will. Your decision."

Of course he didn't expect Itachi to leave. But why would he stay after Deidara'd left? The entire akatsuki was dropped on his shoulders afterall. Krissy's eyes widened as Deidara finished what he had to say. He was giving her the choice for whether or not he was to stay? If she decided no....the Akatsuki would fall apart again. But if she decided yes....well.....what then? There was no definite answer to this. Krissy looked down. Telling him no, Krissy herself would be kicked out of the akatsuki for it as well as Deidara leaving. Why was he leaving this up to her? She was a child! Krissy blinked as she looked down. Could Deidara already know the answer to his own question? Would this mean he....trusted her? What stupid thoughts she was thinking. It was a simple choice. There was absolute bad on one side of the choice, and.....the unknown on the other side. Rather the possibility of good than the certainty of bad, right?

Krissy looked at Deidara as he sat in the chair and spun the kunai around. He seemed so calm. She was starting to remember why she admired him so much. Sighing, she said "I....I want you to stay Deidara.....that akatsuki needs you. We've been in bad shape since you left." She looked back down. She was avoiding the real reason she wanted him to stay. Just....just because. Just to have him there, there was no real reason why. But Deidara only asked whether or not she wanted him to stay. That was it.

Deidara had waited patiently for Krystalia's answer. He wasn't quite sure what to expect but the answer neither please nor displeased him. He was currently nutreal to it all at the moment. He stood up and walked over to her and took a knee. She hadn't grown much while he had been gone, though a year was hardly enough time to grow. "I thank you for giving me a second chance," he said. "And for the respect that you showed me before I left. And even if this is an assumption or not, I know your respect for me possibly ended the moment I said goodbye." The green eyes leader bowed his head. "That's all I have to say."

Krissy blinked as Deidara got up and kneeled down to just about eye level with her. It was strange to her what he was doing. The old Deidara would've never done that. She supposed it had been some kind of superiority thing that he had literally looked down to her in the past. It was obvious her leader was trying quite hard to redeem himself for leaving. Krissy's respect for her leader was slowly but surely coming back. It would take quite some time, if ever, for her to ever respect him as much as she had formerly though.

As Deidara spoke, she realized that, she hadn't only given Deidara a second chance, but the akatsuki itself a second chance. When Deidara finished speaking, Krissy looked at him a few seconds before (very gutsy, this is) giving Deidara a quick hug and pulling back, then giving him a quick bow. "Yes Leader," she said, hiding a smile as she ran out of his room. Stopping at the door a second and looking back at him, she added "I'm glad you're back Deidara," before running out.

Deidara was suprised when Krissy gave him a quick hug. He was, for the first time since he had arrived, glad to be back. He gave a small smile as she ran out the room. "It's good to be back," he repsonded to her before she completely left. He then raised his hand to his eyes. They were watery. "Akatsuki don't cry," he said as he stood up and looked at the empty doorway. Now he knew for sure that he could continue to lead them, even if they didn't wish for him to. Though, bowing down wouldn't cover the damage he'd done. He'd evenually fix it all.

Itachi watched as Krystalia left from Deidara's room. She must not have seen him standing against the wall. Moving away from the wall he walked into Deidara's doorway. "Careful," he told Deidara. "A leader musn't show weakness, it may just be his downfall." The Assassin of the Leaf's eyes were red with Sharingan. "Take that as you will," he said. With that he walked down the hall to his own room, letting the question linger on the air and sink in.

Deidara was suprised to see Itachi come into the doorway. He stood still as the Akatsuki member spoke his words. Words that cut deep like sharp blade that was being used to threaten a life. And that's exactly what Deidara believed was going on. Itachi must have been planning something, that threat seemed to have told it all. Deidara narrowed his eyes. He'd have to watch Itachi from now on. He walked to the door and looked down the hall before closing it behind him and going to get some rest.
