I sat in training grounds doing push-ups because me and Miyozashi had just got done talking about how I was doing as an assassin. He said I would one day be as good as him if I trained a bit harder and apid more attention to my trainer. Then he said 'Good luck kiddo' and walked off. So that's how I ended up here pushing myself up and down until sweat poured of me like an overflowing cup. I wanted to be better than I already was. I wanted to be a good ninja and assassin. I wanted to meet my families expectations of me and I wanted for Myo to one day say I was just as good as him. As I counted I noticed footsteps were coming up behind me. Did someone want to train. "...54...55...56...." I turned my head and saw someone in the distance but didn't stop. Maybe they were just passing by.

Kazuya sighed as he walked through the training grounds. The training with Jer wasn't going as he'd hoped. Well, he guessed that he'd just have to try a different approach. Kazuya stopped and sniffed the air a little. There was a scent that smelled familiar, but.....foreign to him.. Kazuya looked in the direction of where the smell was coming from and saw a girl in the middle of the training grounds doing push-ups. From what Kazuya saw, he hadn't met her before, so....why did she smell so familiar? Kazuya walked up to her, but kept a little away too. "Excuse me, but, do I know you from somewhere?"

I looked at the guy who had come up to me. I stopped my push-ups and stood to my feet. "Know me from somewhere?" I asked. "Um, no I don't remember seeing you anywhere before," I said as I looked at him for a moment longer. That aura, I thought. He's got it. I took a step back for caution. I wondered if he knew what I was, but I'd have to play cool for the moment.

Kazuya blinked. "Oh, uh, sorry, it's just...." Something about this girl didn't strike him as right. "I thought you looked familiar for a moment there," he lied. Telling her that her scent smelled familiar , Kazuya didn't think that would be a good idea for some reason. "Well, since I'm here anyways, my name's Kazuya."

I didn't like this guy. He kind of gave me he chills. I couldn't kill him because I was off duty, but then again it wasn't in the assassin rule book. I looked at the guy as he introduced himself as Kazuya. "I'm Kitsra," I said to him with a slight bow. I'd been taught to be proper and though I was faced with the supernatural I wouldn't change. "May I ask where you were you've seen me before," she asked.

Kazuya shrugged. "I'm not sure...maybe around a town or village or something." Kazuya looked her over once. "Well, I'm sorry for disturbing you," he said as he turned slightly. "I should probably leave and let you get back to your training." (As if it's ever that easy, XD)

I wasn't buying that story no matter how cheap he sold it. I pulled a kunai. "Don't play with me," I said. "I know you're one of them." I'd never really killed anyone without being ordered to. I just wasn't in my nature, I mean, I just liked to hang out and be carefree, but this guy had approached me! Did he know who I was? And more importantly, could I take him?

Kazuya stopped, his back already facing the girl, and sighed. He turned and looked at her. "So what if I am?" He looked her over again. "You a hunter?"

I shook my head. "Yeah," I said. "I'm a hunter of the Tokuga family," I said. No we weren't a Clan, we didn't have several family members. We were just ourselves. A group of hunters who lived normal lives as ninja until it was time to do our jobs. "And because of the fact that you're one of them, I have to put you down. No questions asked," I said.

Kazuya looked a little taken aback at her second last statement. "Put me....What the hell do you think I am, a dog!?" Kazuya yelled angrily. Normally Kazuya wouldn't get angry this easy, but being treated like some kind of animal was one thing he didn't, no, something he wouldn't tolerate. Kazuya let out a small growl at this girl. "If you want to try to take me out feel free, but don't think you're gonna succeed."

Kazuya sidestepped the girl's attack and said "Yeah I'm part canine, but I'm no damn mutt!" Kazuya's nails grew into claws before he said "I'm part wolf!" then slashed at Kitsra's side.
