Xantrex knocked on Jaymaru's door twice. "Jaymaru, I need to talk to you. Meet me in the main room." And without waiting for an answer, he walked out into the main room and sat heavily on one of the couches. He was still exhausted from the day before but had at least got enough rest to funtion properly. Sitting back against the couch, Xantrex gave a heavy sigh. Who knew that she'd been a spy for years? It was surprising he hadn't found out about this. He doubted she'd know who he was, having only met him once, and during that time he had been older. He waited silently waiting for Jaymaru to walk in.

Jaymaru looked over her shoulder as she heard a voice telling her to meet them in the main room. She gave a small sigh and looked into the mirror. She'd died her hair red and black. It was nice, but she liked the natural purple better. She shrugged and walked out into the Main Room to see a blond hair kid. Was that Xantrex? She could have sworn he was older. Shrugging it off she walked and sat on a couch. "You wanted me," she asked.

Xantrex's eyes followed Jaymaru as she walked in and sat down. For a few moments he looked her over, his gaze seeming to go straight through her. Flinchign slightly, Xantrex leaned forward and crossed his arms over his legs. "So...exactly how long have to been a spy for us?" He asked, a hint of curiousity in his tone. Being honest, he was rather disappointed in himself for not figuring it out earlier. How could he miss something so obvious?

Jaymaru looked at Xantrex as he leaned forward and flinched. She wondered if he was still hurt from the battle or if it was somethething else all together. Either way she didn't have time to ask because he was suddenly asking her about how long she'd been a spy. "Twelve years," she answered simply.

Xantrex sighed. "Unbelievable," he said, shaking his head slightly. It was so odd that he didn't even know. "You must've been one hell of an actor." Rather than keeping on his failure as a researcher, he decided to drop the subject altogether. "Whatever. Anyways, did Itachi tell you how things go around here?" Since she'd been living in the valley's, even as a spy, she wouldn't really know how things worked in the hideout unless Itachi had filled her in already.

Jaymaru just shrugged. She wasn't sure how she pulled it off for so long. She guessed she'd just became attached to the ninja of the Valleys. But whenever Itachi came to gather information, she remembered her real job. Just like the time were she'd been forced to stop Saruka with a forbidden jutsu in order to save Itachi's life. She remembered that moment oh so well. Both of them had died that day, but Jaymaru was the only one who'd ever come back. "Um, Itcahi hasn't told me much. Just who's rooms were who's and that the Main Room was were everyone met, other than that I know nothing."

Xantrex nodded as she said that Itachi hadn't told her too much, his arms still crossed over his legs. "Alright then. There are several rules to know here. But there's one that's way more important than the rest: Don't, I mean don't piss off Deidara. Whether you can take him or not as far as fighting goes, that's not the point. He's our leader. The last time we lost him things went badly. We don't need that happening again. Understand?" He felt sort of odd laying it out for her like that. "By the way, do you even know who I am?"

Jaymaru listened quietly as Xantrex explained to her the rules. "Okay," she said quietly. She hadn't known things had gotten this strict. And from the stories she'd heard, Deidara didn't mess around. As she started to think them over Xantrex asked her if she'd even known who he was. "Xantrex?" She asked in a cautious tone. "I think you are Xantrex, but I could have sworn you were older."

Xantrex couldn't help but give a small laugh at her cautious tone. "Yeah. And you're right, the last time you saw me I was older. A few weeks ago I just decided to...test something out," he said with a shrug. He didn't want to give too much detail. "One other really important thing. Deidara knows everything that happens when it comes to the akatsuki. No one really knows how, but he does. And if something does come up where Deidara's pissed at you, for your own sake, don't give him excuses," he added with a small smile. The smile faded slightly as he added "Not many of the other akatsuki know this, but I think you should. I know just as much about what goes on around here as Deidara does." It wasn't a threat, so much as a...warning perhaps. He didn't really know why he was telling her this. Perhaps she'd figure out that he knew about her and Itachi by that comment, perhaps not.

Jaymaru just starred as he said he'd been testing some thing out. On yourself...he's like some mad scientist from the movies, she thought trying not to crack a smile. As he gave her the other warning on Deidara she became much attentive until he said he also knew things. She swallowed. What was he trying to get at. "What's that suppose to mean," she asked. Did he not trust her because she'd been with the Shinobi for so long? Then again who could blame him, everyone swore she'd been the mortal enemy of the Akatsuki, and her role play was pretty convincing if you'd ask her.

Xantrex tilted his head slightly with a small smile as he saw her become defensive. "Whatever you want it to mean," he said, some amusement in his tone. At least now that he was a teenager it seemed more normal for him to be screwing with people. "Just remember one thing Jaymaru, I'm not your enemy. Unlike the rest of the akatsuki, Itachi not included, I believe I can trust you." He gave her a small smile before lowering his gaze, the smile fading from his face. "Hey, Jaymaru....you, you were a teacher when you were in the vallies, right?" He asked, almost quietly. It was, of course, a question that came out of no where, but he had to ask someone.

Jaymaru felt a bit less secure as he said he wasn't her enemy. ALot of people said that but she understood that Xantrex might be telling the truth. As he asked her about the teaching thing she was caught off guard. "Huh, the Academy," she said. "Um...yes I taugh there. What about it." She had no idea where this was going, what exactly did the acamedy have to do with anything?"

Any trace of amusement that was on Xantrex's face before was gone. For the first time in a while he was dead serious, but he looked more embarrassed of asking this than anything. "What was it like...having students?" he asked, his gaze still on the floor. Recently he'd been deciding upon looking for a student, but it was much too complicated. To find a student willing to join the akatsuki would be near impossible. And to train one who wasn't in the akatsuki would surely end his life by Deidara's hands. But to leave the akatsuki would leave him with no place to go. He had no idea what to do at this point.

Jaymaru looked at Xantrex as he asked her what it was like. She was dumbfounded for a moment but found herself willing to explain. "Well," she said. "I like kids, so that's why I started. Every one of them is willing to learn new things no matter how bad or good of an attitude they have. I loved the job because they always forgive if you mess up and they like to have fun. You're not always serious." She smiled. "It's pretty fun, I've had quit a few teams to sensei as well." She looked at Xantrex. "Why'd you want to know?"

Xantrex looked at her as she explained. Damn. For a few seconds he had hoped that she'd have said it was terrible. So now he knew what he was missing out on. Sighing he looked down as she was almost done explaining. His voice turned somewhat colder as she asked why he wanted to know. "No reason," he said simply. He gave her a quick glance before looking back down. "Is there anything in particular you want to know about the akatsuki Jaymaru?" he asked calmly. He was planning on getting out of the hideout after this. Just for a little while. To do some experiments.

Jay shook her head when Xantrex asked her if she wanted to know anything else. "Um," she started to say something but stopped. "Nevermind, that's all," she said standing up. "Thank you," she said as she headed out the room and towards her own. She had a feeling some things were about to change.

He looked at her as she was about to ask something, but then stopped. He shrugged as she said nevermind. "Whatever." He looked at her as she thanked him. "Uh...no problem." He hadn't really expected her to thank him, but whatever. Flinching slightly, Xantrex got up and looked over the main room before heading out the door of the hideout.
