Kokujo was in the kitchen, the turkeys were in the oven, yes, turkies, there were 15. He had sent invitations out to anyone who wanted to come, even in not a lot of people came, he and momo were huge eaters still. Leftovers would be fine too. He already cooked the stuffing, and was keeping it warm, he had mashed potatos, gravy, bread, butter, stuffing, and even his brothers recipie for pumpkin pie. His brother loved pumpkin pie and had spent a lot of time coming up with the literally PERFECT recipie. This would be the first time anyone outside of his family would try it. "Sure hope they like all of this" Kokujo muttered to himself with a huge idiotic smile on his face. His brother used to cook this every year and he always made erything so perfect. Juicy turky, warm, soft stuffing, melt in your mouth potatos, even the gravy was perfect. Ofcourse the pumpkin pie surpassed all of it, it was the most amazing thing anyone he knew that had tasted it had ever tasted, which was only 5 people but still. Saruka had taught Momo and Him how to make al of this just like he did, it would never be AS perfect, but it would be very very close.

Sukai grinned as he walked to the death Vally and up towards Kokujo's house. It had been forever since he'd seen his former sensei. As he got to the door he grinned and gave a knock. "Kokujo!" He called. "Open up, it's Sukai!" Sukai couldn't wait to eat and get to talk with Kokujo once more.

Momoshiro paced impatiently upstairs, Kokujo had told him not to come down until guests arrived because he didn't want him stealing any food. Truthfully he just really hoped tenkuu came, he really missed her, having not seen her in so long. He really hoped nothing had happened between her and another guy. Momoshiro stood on the middle step of the stairs and watched the door, hoping to see Tenkuu. If it was Sukai maybe Kokujo would let Momoshiro take care of the kitchen, hah, he doubted it. But the smell from the kitchen was so intoxicating...so good...his stomach grouwled loudly just thinking about the thanksgivings they had had in the past. He heard Sukai call and opened the door "Hi Sukai, come on in, is Tenkuu coming? Is she feeling good?" Momoshiro spoke this in a hurry.

Sukai grinned. "Hey Momo," he said glad to see his friend after such a long time. He'd heard that the guy had stepped down from Kage and some other person named Kazuya had taken over. He still hadn't gotten the details from Tenkuu yet. Then he grinned. "Yeah," he said. "She's coming, she's on her way right now," he said. "And no she's not sick." Sukai gave a small laugh. "Where's your uncle?"

Tenkuu walked up after Sukai and grinned. "Momoshiro," she said giving him a huge hug. "How are you," she asked with a smile. "Hello Kokujo!" She then pulled back from Momoshiro her eyes bright. "How've you been?"

Momoshiro smiled really big when he saw Tenkuu, he hugged her really tight and kept smiling, when she pulled away his smile faded a bit but he jsut watched her, she was so beautiful. Momoshiro shook his head quickly and looked over to the kitchen as kokujo stepped out.

Kokujo walked out of the kitchen wearing a white cloth apron and wiping his hands on a washcloth "Hey Tenkuu," Kokujo smiled at her softly and gave Sukai a giant hug and lifted him really high off the ground "Wow you've gotton big! Both of you!" Kokujo set Sukai down and ruffled Sukai and Tenkuu's hair. "You know Tenkuu, momo's been talking about you quite a bit. Kokujo watched as Momoshiro blushed slightly and looked down.

Tenkuu couldn't help but smile as she was complemented on her how big she'd gotten over the years and how Momoshiro always talked about her. "Thank you," she said smiling. She then looked at Momoshiro and grinned. "And what do you say about me," she asked.

Sukai smiled. "Hey Kokujo," he said with a small laugh. "It's been forever since I've seen you," he said as he bent down slightly when Kokujo ruffled his hair. He then looked at Tenkuu and Momoshiro. That was his little sister and his friend. Wow, it really had been a while since they'd spoken.

Momoshiro looked at Sukai for a second then at Tenkuu "I don't know if I can say it here, it'd be pretty weird. Do you really want me too?" Momoshiro kept blushing and looked back down, this was getting embarrassing, he wished he could hit Kokujo for saying what he did, but oh well, he was actually plannign on telling Tenkuu anyway, just when the time and place was right.

Rumiko knocked on the door and then poked his head in. "Look who's here," he said as he walked in. "Hey Kokujo, Sukai, Momoshrio, and Tenkuu," he said. "How are you all doing," he asked. "It's been a while since I've seen you all."

Momoshiro took this time to ook up and quickly get rid of the blush on his face "Hi Rumiko. We've been doing well, Kokujo and me.' Momoshiro then looked at Kokujo, more like glared, or maybe it was more sadness than anger, to try to tell him. 'I'll tell tenkuu later, please let me choose the right time.'

Tenkuu's smile never faultered. "Well," she said. "Who all is coming," she asked a she looked at Rumiko and grinned at him. "Hey Uncle Rumi," she said. Tenkuu secretly knew if Momo and Kokujo knew what had happened with their family in the past year or so.

Momoshiro took a step forward towards Tenkuu "Tenkuu, I want you to come with me for a bit, is that okay?" Momoshiro looked straight into Tenkuu's eyes, as if he wasn't seeinga single other person or thing than her. Actually that may well have been the truth.

Tenkuu blinked. "Um, sure," she said with a small shrug. She then looked to Sukai and Rumiko. "See you all later," she called. "Call me if mom shows Sukai or Kai, maybe even Lulu," she said. Tenkuu was really happy today for some reason. She had no clue why though, possily because she was seeing everyone she cared for once more.

Momoshiro held Tenkuu's hand and started walking out of the hosue with her, he came to the forest jsut outside of the village. "Tenkuu, what I've been saying about you all this time is this. I love you Tenkuu, I really love you. I want to spend all of my life with you, I really hate every moment that I'm not with you. There's noone who can even be close to the spot you have in my heart, not my dad, not my brother, not my mom, noone. You're the only one I love like this Tenkuu." Momoshiro's voice was almost gone by the time he was done talking, the last sentance was very quiet.

Tenkuu waved goodbye as Momoshiro took her towards some forest that she didn't even know was there until this moment. As he spilled his guts about how much she loved him she couldn't help but feel sort of bad. She hadn't talk to him in forever so she kind of drifted apart from him, though she wasn't seeing anyone else she couldn't lie and say she loved him. So insead she took a step closer and hugged him. "Thank you," she said as she stepped back.

Momoshiro shook his head. "Sorry" he faked a smile and walked back inside the gate to the village, quickly taking off and leaving through another exit, crying his eyes out and finding a place to hide where he hoped he wouldn't be found. He cried and sobbed, barely able to breathe. How could he do that? He should have known Tenkuu couldn't love him, she was far too perfect for him, what was he thinking. He cried harder as he thought of the times he and tenkuu had spent together. He screamed into the forest, "I'm so stupid!" He started to run farther away but his legs were collapsed by another sob and his tears fell on the ground as if it were pouring rain.

Tenkuu wastched Momo run off crying. She felt terrible and wanted nothing more than to go home. This day was turning out bad. Slowly she made her way back to Kokujo's house. "I'm back," she said with her head down. She walked over to Kokujo and whispered. "He's upset," then she went to Sukai and Rumiko and stood beside them.

Jaymaru walked to Kokujo's house, she'd been informed that today would be a Thanksgiving party. She hoped that her kids were there. She missed them very much, especially since she'd lost both of her kids. Jaymaru sighed and knocked on the door as she entered. "Hello everyone," she said.

Kokujo whispered to Tenkuu "Oh, he's more than upset. trust me." Kokujo simled happily as Jutsu walked in and tackled her affectionately, clinging to her tight. He then let go and helped her up. "Sorry, Brother wanted me to do that."

Jaymaru fell backwards and gave a suprised laugh. "Alright Kokujo," she said as she grabbd his hand to help herself. "You're lucky I was in a good moo," she joked. She then looked around for Momoshiro, but he wasn't there. Oh well. She then looked at Kokujo. "How've you been?"

"I've been great" Kokujo smiled warmly. "wait for a second, I need to check on the food." Kokujo spoke this at the same time as he turned around and started walking into the kitchen. Smells filled the whole house as he pulled the turkies out of the oven, uncovered the dishes already finished. and put the finishing touched on the pie. Then, looking ou of the kitchen, he called, "Anyone wanna help me carry all of this to the table outside?" He had set up a very large table outside in a large shrine Saruka had built when he first moved in. Kokujo and Momoshiro had long since turned it into a party room. While Saruka was still living of course.

Jm nodded. "I'll help," she said as she followed him into the kitchen. It smelled nice with delicous aromas of food. She then looked at the Shrine. "Nice place," she said with a grin.

Kokujo pointed to the 15 turkies "Thanks, think you can carry those? And I bet Brother would be very happy to hear you say that" Kokujo smiled a bit once more and picked everything except for the turkies up, ballancing them ontop of his head, shoulders, and hands. 'I might have made a bit too much food,' Kokujo thought to himself as he performed the ballancing act out of the hosue and somehow set everything on the extremely large table. All of the places were already set.
