Lulu opened the door to her house, and looked around. The fog was immense. She closed the door very carefully and walked out into the cool 4:00 am air. She had left a note on her bed telling them that she'd be gone for a few days. She began walking towards the gates, and got there successfully without being seen. She looked at the two guards, who were calmly asleep. She walked out of the village, and after about a half mile, she heard footsteps that weren't hers. Damnit, I almost made it... She stopped, and turned to face her pursuer.

Shen walked through the streets of the Stealth silently. It was dark out, seeing as how it was the night of the new moon. After only a few moments, he saw a figure heading towards the gates of the Stealth and decided to investigate. He didn't know who it was until he smelled her scent. Lulu...? Where could she've been going? So he decided to follow her, but only for a bit. He needed to know why she was sneaking out so late...err....early. Unfortunately, his tailing was cut short by the fact that she'd turned around. Which also meant she knew he was tailing her. Standing against the side of a tree on the road, Shen looked at her, his yellow eyes shining through the darkness. "Hey Lu. Why up so early?" (Doesn't he look awesome here? XD)

Lulu faced him, and a thought popped into her mind. "Shen, I am up so early because of reasons you wont need to know. However, I have a question for you." She tilted her head slightly and looked quizzicly at him. "Why on heavens are you stalking me?"

A small smile crossed Shen's face. She was very secretive, but he had no real reason to pry other than amusement. He shrugged. "I saw someone leaving the village. It's very early. I'm an ANBU. Just doin my job," he said with a smile. (Take a look at my avvy and tht's his smile here)

"Soo your stalking me because I left the village. A little creepy, don't you think, Shen?" She continued walking. "You can come, because I know you will anyway." She waited for Shen to walk beside her. she was dressed in the clothes Sukai bought her, and the locket was hanging from her neck.

Shen smiled and walked up next to her with a shrug. "Look at that, we've only been on one mission and you already know me so well," he said with a small laugh. She was right, there was a good chance that he would've tagged along anyways. "So, where are you headed?" he asked, looking at her with a small smile. He was in an unusually good mood for a dark moon night.

She looked at him. "That, you snoopy boy, is none of your business. Now, you can come, but that will mean spending most of five days with me. Think you can handle that, wolfy?" She started to walk forward again.

Shen blinked. "Oh come on now, you have no right calling me "boy," I am older than you afterall," he said with a small grin. Walking next to her, his smile widened as he said "Of course I can handle it, the question is, can you handle being with a wolf for most of five days?" They'd definitely gotten closer since their first mission, but all the same he wondered if the answer she was going to give him would be completely true.

Lulu sighed. "Yeah...I guess so." She sighed again. "And I'll call you that anyway. Would you rather me call you woman?" She laughed a bit. Her pace increased a bit, but overall her attitude remained the same. She gripped the necklace on her neck.

Shen smiled. It sounded like an honest answer to him. Shen raised an eyebrow at her next statement. "Not really," he gave a small laugh, as he kept pace with Lulu. "Hey, are you trying to lose me again?" he said with a small smile.

"That depends on weather or not I decide you bother me or not." She laughed again, and released her grip on the locket. She slowed down, and said slowly, "Sooooo. You want to know where I am going, huh?"

Shen smiled and looked up as he walked when Lulu started to slow. He shrugged. "Only if you want to tell me. It's your business afterall." Shen wondered whether or not Lulu actually wanted him to go. There was only one way to find out....

"Very well." She walked in silence now, and she sighed. She was going to her birthplace first, and then to her raising place. "Well. I suppose you can know where I'm going first. I'm going to the magma valley, to collect what my dad left me in his will. However, for the second thing, I can't tell you that."

Shen looked at Lulu with a shrug and a small grin when he heard her sigh. "I told you only if you wanted to tell me." His smile faded a bit and he looked back in front of him. "Hey. I'll leave you alone if you want, I mean...you are going to pick up what your father left you." It was almost way too obvious that Shen was always like this to people who've had their loved ones die.
