Kinaga stood on the top of a hill in the open, the notes flowing off his violin beautifully. There weren't many trees around, except for at the bottom of the hill. Because of that, Kinaga couldn't really see if anyone came. It was a beautiful and clear night, the full moon shining brightly above him. It was nights like these that Kinaga came out to play. There was a reason of course, but it was his own, and not meant to be shared with others. The notes flowed for several minutes, before he heard someone during a pause, and stopped playing, looking down towards the trees.

Kymir walked through the open with his head down. It was late and he'd just gotten from the Academy and was heading to the Death Valley so he could go home. But as he walked he took his time because he need some space to think and with Kazuya there he knew he wouldn't be able to do that. Sighing he walked. He was dark, but how could he tell Kazuya that. Kazuya deserved the truth, but Kymir couldn't bring himself to speak the words aloud. He could not speak the true meaning of his existance, not without discrimination. Sighing softly he stopped at the sweet sound of music. It was so soft, almost like the night. Kymir started towards it to find the source. He was curios as to who was making the sound. Maybe he'd be able to tell them how good they were, if they didn't mind. As he came out he saw a guy sitting with a violin. Kymir shoved his hands in his pockets. "You're good," he said quietly.

Kinaga looked at the kid as he walked out from the trees. "Thanks," he said, equally quietly. It seemed that everytime he played someone came along....It didn't bother him too much. Lowering his violin, he looked at the child. He didn't seem to be more than...even 2 years old, if that. It was dark out, and late, what could he possibly be doing out here? "Are you...lost? It's really late."

Kymir looked at him as he said thanks. Kymir was a bit disappointed. He thought the guy would be more ruder. He had been looking forward to releasing some of his anger. "No, I'm not lost," he said. "I'm just heading home from school is all, classes ran a bit late..."

Kinaga nodded as he started putting his violin back into its case. "So you're an academy student, huh? What village?" The academy was the only school that trained students outside their vallies, which meant this kid had to be of the academy. Kinaga closed up his violin case without looking at the boy. "By the way, I'm Kinaga."

"Yeah, I'm from the Death," he said. "I started a few days ago..." Kymir watched him close the case. Obviously the guy didn't want to be bothered. "I'm Kymir," he said.

Kinaga turned his gaze to Kymir, sitting down on the hill. "Are you enjoying it so far?" Kinaga rested his chin on the back of one of his hands. "It hasn't been too bad right? From what I hear most other students hate it nowadays."

Kymir turned his head slightly. He wasn't social and din't like any of his classmates. "Well...I guess it's okay," he said.

Kinaga smiled lightly. He was good at reading people's lies. "It's horrible isn't it? I wouldn't worry too much. The first week or so is always the hardest. Especially if it's your first time there." He shrugged and gave a light grin. "You know, you can come up here. I won't bite." Kinaga'd had so many students in the past, that he had a way with them, regardless of if they were....reluctant or not. He'd had several students in the past who were hell-bent on hating him. When they finally graduated to Chuunins though, they loved him. Some of them actually came to visit him the other day. It was really odd since they were the same age now.

Kymir looked at Kinaga. "Yea...." He said slowly. When Kinaga said he could come up and he wouldn't bit Kymir quietly said, "It's me I'm worried about doing the biting," he said. He then went up the hill.

Kinaga smiled as Kymir came up the hill. It seemed to him that the child was either really shy, or non-sociable. "Do you like living in the Death Valley?" Personally, Kinaga never even considered moving there. It was too bleak for him, and there was no doubt that he'd be out of place, what with all the depressed and overly-emotional people there.

Kymir looked at Kinaga. "I guess it's okay," he said. Personally he just wanted a place to call home, but how could you have a real home with no family? Kymir sighed. "Where do you live?"

Kinaga blinked. "Me? I live in the Storm Valley. It's a nice place, not considering the storms." Kinaga looked up at the moon for a few moments. "You know...just from the way you talk...I can tell, you're not very used to people, are you?" He brought his gaze back to Kymir. Any person who was used to people wouldn't lie about stuff like not liking the academy.

"Never been there," Kymir mumbled. He wondered what it was like. He'd never gone anywhere beside the Death Valley. He shrugged and when Kinaga spoke his last sentence Kymir clenched his fist tightly. "Mind your own business," he said quietly. Too quite for Kinaga to hear unless he was one of the unnaturals. "I'm not a people person," he said.

Kinaga looked at Kymir and nodded. "Thought so...listen, if being around me makes you uncomfortable then, I won't be offended if you want to leave." Kinaga gave a glance at his violin case which shined slightly in the moonlight, with the words Storm Ninja engraved in cursive on the front. It was a joke between him and Shisu, but he'd ended up adopting the name anyways. Kinaga looked back to Kymir.

Kymir sighed. "I'm fine," he said. He was trying to keep his mean comments to himself. (b/c kinny asked.) Though it was awfully hard. He was so used to snapping at people. "Why are you out here in the middle of the night playing a violen in the moonlight?"

The smile faded from Kinaga's face slightly, then he looked off to the side with a sad smile. "It's an old habit I never got out of I guess..." Even after 25 years... Kinaga looked back at Kymir. "Don't you think your parents might be a little worried about you though? I'm sure that classes don't normally run this long, right?"

Kymir looked at Kinaga. "An old habit, that's cool..." He said with a shrug. This night seemed so quiet that it felt unreal. Like a genjutsu that made reality feel like heaven. Then it shattered at Kinaga's question. "I don't have any parents," Kymir said looking down.

Kinaga frowned. "I'm sorry Kymir." Tilting his head a little, Kinaga asked "But you said you were going home right? Who do you live with then?" He wondered if this child's parents were ninja, or just died in some accident. Either way, it was still horrible that such a young boy should be without his parents.

Kymir simply shook his head. "Don't be," he said. "It's not really a home, just tempary. I'm staying withthe Kage of the Death for the time being." Kymir then looked up slightly.

Kinaga gave a light smile. "Temporary, huh? So that means you plan on leaving?" Kinaga laid back, crossing his arms behind his head and letting his gaze drift to the moon that floated lazily above them. "Where do you plan on going?"

"I...I mean it's temporary because I don't believe it wise to stay with him for too long. He says he doesn't mind and I know it...but...but he's got her..." Kymir turned his head. "I don't know where I'll go, but where ever it is, I know it'll be far."

Kinaga turned his head slightly to look at Kymir and then gave a small shrug. "I've only met the guy once, but he seems decent to me. If he says he'll do something, then he wouldn't be much of a Kage if he didn't right?" he said with a smile. "Hey Ky, was it your choice to go to the academy?" he said, looking back up at the moon.

Kymir nodded. Kazuya was nice, but Kymir had given him a hard time all the time he'd been living with the guy. Kymir was trying to get better, but it seemed so hard when you grew up on the streets. He then looked at Kinaga, "Yeah, I chose to go. I wanna pay back my respect to the village," he said.

Kinaga smiled. "Then you have goals." He wouldn't bother to ask what had happened that Kymir needed to get respect back. Kymir'd tell him if he wanted him to know. "That's good." Kinaga looked at Kymir. "So...how long ago did your parents die? I mean, if yo don't mind my asking. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," he said with a shrug.
