Felix stood at the entrance of the Unknown. It was would be the first time he'd go in without a mission request. Today he wanted to learn the secrets behind its mystery. Stepping in he felt like he was stepping into another demension. He turned back around and saw the entrance was gone. There was no gtting out the way he'd entered. Facing forward he started to walk through the forest. The longer he waked the more he felt like he was getting anywhere. The sun hadn't moved from its previous location. Then he saw a pool of water. Walking to it he stopped and leaned down and moved his hand through the water. "It's light." Sitting back he turned his head as he heard someone or something. A game of cat and mouse was not his style.

Zandra headed towards the Unknown by herself. She went there often because there was a slim chance anyone would ever be able to find her when she went for a swim in her real form. Since the Unknown was always changing it's shape, Zandra tried to find her spot by trying to recognize landmarks, but alot of the time it didn't work. As she finally found the spot where she normally went swimming, she stopped as she saw a man leaning by it. She hid herself behind a tree nearby and waited for him to leave. Unfortunately it seemed he heard her because he went to turn his head. On instinct, Zandra pulled her body behind the tree, staying as silent as she could. She swallowed once. She still wasn't very used to people, and what if this man wasn't nice? Or worse, what if he was a hunter of the supernatural?

Felix stood up. "Hinding is useless if you've already been spotted. It'd be best to run," he said as he dusted himself off. He then turned towards the place the person had went. "Or you can show yourself, I don't plan on being a threat unless you prove to be one yourself and even then you must provoke me to kill."

Zandra stayed silent as the man explained that she had two options, either run or show herself. She didn't like the thought of leaving after she'd come all this way, and didn't he say anyways that he wouldn't hurt her unless she tried to attack him first? Swallowing again, Zandra stepped out from behind the tree shyly. She wondered if he knew that he'd been talking to a kid. "I'm sorry for bothering you," she said, her head tilted down slightly, but her eyes still on him, and her hands folded behind her back.

Felix looked at the girl who stepped out. She was young, just as he expected. But he didn't expect her to be this young. Any experienced ninja would have put distance between themselves and the person who had found them out. Maybe she was one of those people like Serenity who were hopeless and just went out without someone to watch their backs. "You're not bothering me," he said.

Zandra looked at the man as he said that she hadn't been bothering him. There was something off about him. He didn't look much older than 20, but something about his demeanor said he was much older. Zandra saw it, but she didn't quite get what it meant. "Uhm....why....why are you all the way out here?" she asked a little curiously. She knew he'd ask the same thing, but she didn't mind answering.

"I'm usually on assignment to find people who have disappeared within this place and it has caught my attention that its a mystery within itself. I'd like to find out its secrets," he said. "An aquaintance of mine said I should find something else to do with my life." Felix shrugged. "Being curious usually kills the cat but it seems as though we've all got plenty of lives to spare. Why are you here?"

Zandra looked at the man as he said that he was normally on missions in the Unknown. So he was a ninja too. "But don't you worry that you might disappear in here too then?" she asked when he said all his mission here were to find missing people. As he asked what she was doing here, she gave a small smile and a shrug. "Well, as silly as it sounds, I come to this specific pool a little often so I can swim here." He'd probably wonder how Zandra knew how to find it since the Unknown was constantly changing (like the staircases in Harry Potter), but Zandra wasn't really sure she could answer that.

Felix looked at her though his eyes were hidden as usual. "Why should I fear getting lost. There is always a light at the end of a tunnel, so shouldn't there always been an exit to this maze?" He then grinned when she said she came to swim here. "So this here is you pool." He said. "Rumor has it that the Unknown creates whatever your heart desires." He gave a shrug.

(LIES)

Zandra looked at him as he made some kind of silly metaphor. "I guess that's true," she said, looking at him. This man didn't seem all that bad to her. But then again, as a water spirit, Zandra had always been a bit naive when it came to the nature of humans. Zandra looked at the pool as he said that it was hers. "Well....I guess," she said with a shrug. She wasn't sure if it was technically hers because she couldn't really claim something that was in the middle of no where. She looked back up at him as he said that the Unknown created whatever you wanted. "Really? I've never heard that one before!" she said with a bright smile. "That's neat," she said turning her gaze to the pool a second before looking back at the man. "Oh, uhm, my name's Zandra," she said, remembering that she'd forgotten to introduce herself.

Felix grinned. This child seemed very unsure of herself. "Do not deny something that you no. Denial leads to betrayal of yourself and what you know is right." Felix then shrugged. "Yes, this place can be anything. Home, and escape, paradise." He then let his eyes slid out of his eyes as she introduced herself. "Its nice to meet you," he said. "I am Felix."

(Wow....he said it's nice to meet you....)(And wtf with the riddles, he doesn't do that around Serenity)

Zandra looked at the man as he said that she shouldn't deny something she knew to be true. Although he had a weird way of showing it, this man seemed to be very wise. Zandra's gaze was caught on his icy blue eyes as he introduced himself. Although he seemed nice, his eyes gave away a hint of something dangerous. Something that Zandra hoped she wouldn't have to encounter. She smiled as he introduced himself and gave a small bow, something that she'd learned to be polite while she was living with humans. "Likewise," she said with a smile, coming back up to look at him. She'd been with humans for several years, but she still wasn't sure she'd gotten their act down right. She hoped she wasn't giving herself away but acting so polite to a complete stranger.

(She's a kid, he's trying to be nice, and she's not Serenity, so yeah. Hmph.)


Her formalness (is that even a word) gave him the impression that she was either raised in a very strict and politcally rich family or she just wasn't from around her. Just being plain nice didn't exactly come to him. He didn't think that way. Felix liked things to be complex. Not only that but this conversation had just ended. There was nothing more to say. They'd given introductions and given why they had come to the Unknown. That was enough for him.
