The Human's Demise, and the Creation of New Life


Sit down, children of the Night Blessed Being, and listen to this old man tell a wonderful short story. This is a story we, the Elders, have passed down generation to generation for thousands of years.

This story takes place thousands of years ago, right here in this world, on this planet. The planet was covered in green, beautiful plants, and among these plants, creatures roamed free. Creatures that walked on four legs and ate off the land - and other creatures. Creatures that lived in huge pools of water known as “seas, lakes, and oceans.” Creatures that flew amongst the clouds made of not dust, but water.

But this story does not relate to those creatures, but to that of the last creature to speak of. These beasts walked on two legs, not four, and were intelligent. They were the most technologically advanced society in the world. They fought with weapons made of metals and black powder that could shoot metal super fast. They wore garments over their skin for warmth and protection. They could communicate with each other in different languages.

These were the beasts of fortune. They were called “Humans.” They were smart, too smart. They were divided into “countries.” Each “country” had a device that could wipe out all of not just humanity, but all life.

We lived along side these creatures. We, the hybrids of the time, known as the Divines, were watching over the humans. To them, we are known as “Gods.” We could change shape, create life, and control humans. We were the ultimate beings.

We grew tired of patrolling these humans, and so we let them turn loose to make their own decisions.

They decided to end the world.

They let the devices of destruction ruin Gaia, and we regretted the decision we made.

We spent years rebuilding Gaia to her glory. All life was wiped out. We finally managed to form all creatures and plants, and populated Gaia with them. All beings, exept humans, once again roamed free.

We formed valleys, the ones of many jutsu. Around this land, we formed a place known as Halo. Halo is where we, the Divines, live.

We longed for a creature we could create in place of the humans. We had to make it so they could no longer kill all life. We had the perfect image: They looked, talked, and acted like humans, yet they could use powers. Their powers were similar to ours, thought not as in depth. They could use Sound, Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. We called them Ninja.

We also formed two other humanoid creatures. One that could be incredibly strong, and live in the shadows. We called them the Vampyre. The other creatures could turn into animals during the full moon. We called them the Lykens. They bred to form hybrids, the ultimate creature.

We now watch these three races of humanity closer than we did the humans. We will make sure the world never ends again.
