Ziade sat on one of the benches in the open. She'd try again today to get some rest, but this time, she chose a less isolated spot, in order to try to avoid another fight. Hopefully with more people around, no one would try to pick a fight with her today. She'd left Akira in charge again today and assured him that she wouldn't need his help today, nor did she need it the other day either. She sighed in agitation as she saw someone walking in her direction. She just couldn't win, could she?

Bat had left the Hideout. He rarely left the place unless he had to go on an assignment, but whatever. As he got closer to the villages he went towards the Open. He was in the mood for killing people. That's when he saw a lone woman. He gave a small grin. His darker side started to kick in. "Let me do the honors of destroying such a weak soul. Let me show no mercy to someone who does not dersve to exist before us." Bat pulled off his sword and walked forward. "Today I will end you life," his darker side said. Bat shook his head pushing his darker side back.

Ziade looked at the boy as he walked up. What could a child possibly want with her? Her eyes didn't hold any friendliness towards him when she heard what he said. Cocky little brat, wasn't he? Ziade crossed her arms and leaned back on the bench, her eyes not straying from the child. "Listen, I'm in no mood to play with you child, why don't you run along and find someone your own age to play with," she said as more of a statement than a question. She really was in no mood for this and if the child continued to bother her, she'd quickly show him his mistake. But the child's demeanor held no sense of fear or backing down. All the same, he'd learn his lesson when she was through.

Bat was getting highly aggrivated with her and the word 'child'. He was not a child. Why had he been sent up as a six year old. Had his darker side not kicked in he'd not gotten into this mess. "Listen woman," he said. His voice changing back to normal. "I am not a child. That's the last thing I am," he said. He'd much rather reach for his sword and decapitate her than talk. If push came to shove he'd use a bit of his power to age into his sixteen year old form.

Ziade looked at the kid as he didn't budge. She gave an irritated sigh as he started to explain how he wasn't a child. She could care less, but she didn't want him around tryin to ruin her day. "Fine then, whatever you are. You have no business with me, so beat it." Just this kid's stubbornness was aggrivating her beyond belief. She wanted nothing more at this point than to silence him.

Bat didn't move. He would not move. He would kill this woman. His darker side was right, she didn't deserve to breathe the same air they breathe. She should be rotting in a grave, her corpse being decomposed by maggots. Drawing Nightshade he looked at Ziade. "I've decided against letting you live," he said. He gave a sinister laugh and held the sword's blade to her throat. "I'll take your soul."

Ziade looked at the child in irritation as he still refused to move. She herself didn't move as the kid put his blade to her throat. She was quite used to situations like these. With a sigh, Ziade put her hand against the flat side of the blade and pushed it away as if it were no threat at all. After she did so, she stood up and looked at the kid. "Obviously you are looking for a fight, and that being the case, I won't back down," she said simply. "Whether you're a child or not." Akira was right about a few things when it came to her, but the biggest thing was that she did truly enjoy fighting. Ziade took out a dagger (again don't ask where from) with a small ring on the end of it and spun it around her finger once before turning and taking a few steps to her right. She stopped and looked at Bat, her head tilted slightly. "You're move," she said with a slight smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.

This was just what Bat had come to do. Fight and fill that little voice in the back of his head that kept urging him to kill something. But that little voice had been bottled up for too long and he was now going to go all out and kill. Letting the sword glow with a green aura he moved towards Ziade. The blade aimed at her he slashed down. Being this short was very complicated, but he'd managed many times before. Aging was too much energy. And his blade was still rejecting him from the time him and Halo had shaken hands.

Ziade looked at the kid as he moved towards her. As he swung his blade downwards, she sidestepped and turned her body sideways so that the blade went down directly in front of her, then brought her leg up and kicked the flat end away, turning her body in the same motion so that she threw her dagger at Bat in the same move. She wondered how good this kid really was. Although fighting in the open could become a problem, but as long as people strayed away from them, they should've been fine. Ziade kept most of her fights closed ranged. Unfortunately for her, she hadn't set up any traps ahead of time because her intentions were to relax today. But she should've known better.

Bat was a bit shocked that the blade has missed, but kept his concentration as she kicked his blade. When she had kicked the blade away instead of resisting he turned with the blade and dodged the dagger by bringing Nightshade up in the line of defense. "You're good," he said. "But lets see just how good you really are. If you are worth the dirt you stand on, or if you should be six feet below."

Ziade couldn't help but be a little surprised that the kid was so swift. "You're not bad yourself for someone so small," she said with a slight smirk. "But don't get too cocky," she said, pulling out a scroll and did a jutsu with it in hand. In a single movement, Ziade laid the scroll open on the ground and picked up the sword that appeared almost instantaneously. "Let's see just how good you are with that blade of yours," she said, slashing her own blade at Bat as she rised from picking it up.

This size stuff was annoying the hell out of him. "Go to hell," he said as she picked up her sword. He blocked her blade and pushed her back and slid through the air causing a black wave to go towards her. He would not stand for this. "That's right, kill her," his darker side urged. "Show no mercy." Bat didn't resist his darker side. A black aura started to surround him and then enclosed him completely for a split second. He was now sixteen (like in his picture). He'd make her look like butter beneath his blade.

Ziade's eyes shined with excitement as the kid pushed her blade back then sent a black wave towards her. Already she could tell this kid was some kind of supernatural, which would make this all the more interesting. She was actually glad that Akira wasn't here to try and ruin her fun this time. As the wave came towards her, Ziade ducked under it, her movement looking something like a geisha's dance move. As she rised back up she brought two daggers up with her and whipped them at Bat. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw that he'd turned into a teenager though. "Well well, look what you can do. Makes it a little fairer I suppose," she said with a smirk.

Bat lookedd at his shoulder as one of the daggers hit him. He spun his sowrd in a half circle and knocked it out. "So you like to play with knives," he said. This woman was quite the prey. He then gave a sinister laugh. "This fight is nowhere near fair," he said as he moved forward and cut his sowrd diagonal. But he wouldn't end there. Lifting his left hand he quickly closed and reopened it. A black massed shaped as a ball fired at Ziade.

Ziade shrugged as he said she liked to play with knives. "You could say that." As he announced that the fight was nowhere near fair, Ziade gave a small grin. "You're quite right, you're still outmatched even with that little transformation of yours." She knew what he'd meant, but she liked messing with people's psyche's. As he slashed his sword diagonally, Ziade brought her sword up to block it. Her eyes glanced to his hand as he closed and reopened it. The problem with these supernaturals was that you could never tell when they were about to do a move because they didn't use jutsu. Quickly Ziade pushed Bat's sword back and did a jutsu with it in hand (which would've been dangerous for anyone else). As the black ball fired at her, her newly made clone disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Ziade stood on the bench from before, which was now behind Bat, her sword hanging by her side. "Not bad, not bad at all," she said with a small smirk. She waited for him to turn before jumping down and bringing her sword down on him. She never attacked an opponent when their back was turned, she thought it was a very cowardly move.

Bat was losng his patience with her and her annoying talk. When he realized it was jus a clone he quickly turned around. Ziade's blade met his shoulder and he paused for a heartbeat. He was starting to get the impression that maybe he had overestimated her. Moing backwards he didn't care for the blade cutting across his shoulder because he'd return the favor ten fold. Once he was away from the blade he stepped forward holding the blade towards Ziade, but instead of stabbing her he twisted the blade causing a black wind to errupt from the blade.

She'd hoped that he'd have put up more of an effort to block her blade, but it didn't matter because it'd hit anyways. Ziade made a move to step back as Bat moved his blade towards her, but didn't expect him to stop, and sure as hell didn't expect the wind. When it came, Ziade was blown back into the bench she'd just jumped off of. Without much of a pause, Ziade ignored the pain in her back and got up. She gave a small smirk. She had to admit this kid was very good. She wondered exactly what he was. She'd find out in a moment. Swinging her sword in a circle once, Ziade ran at Bat, swinging her sword, hoping he'd try to hold it with his own blade. She had two questions to ask him, then she could finish him off after she satisfied her curiosity.

Bat didn't think the attack was enough. He wanted to see some blood, and not just his own. He'd prefer if he didn't get injured at all. When she got up he tilted his head to the side. "You don't know when to quit," he said. "How about you just lay down and let me kill you." He then blocked her blade with his own. Looks like you'll need to get serious with this one. She's not like Kazuya Auren, nor is she like Jerimiah. You can almost call her a new breed, he darker side said.

Ziade smirked at his little comment. "Funny, I was about to say the same thing." As he blocked her blade she gave a small smile. "Good, now that I have you standing still for a moment, I'd like to ask you two questions. One, what's your name, and two, what kind of supernatural are you?" she asked, holding her blade against his without faltering. Ziade was the kind of person who saw people for what they were, not who they were, and she never really considered it a flaw, because no one ever pointed it out. Nor did she ever have to actually learn who someone was.

Bat held her blade steady. Looked like they were even. "I'm Bat," he said. "Not really sure if this counts as a supernatural but I'm the son of the Devil." He said. "My turn to ask questions. What's your name?" Bat tightened his grip on his blade. He'd already had his next move planned out. But he liked to catch important peoples names before he killed them.

Ziade gave a small grin at his introduction. "Bat, a fitting name for the son of the Devil," she said. As he asked her name, she continued to hold her blade steady. "Ziade. Maybe you've heard of me, but I'd prefer if you hadn't," she said with a small smile, even though she was in the middle of a battle. Son of the Devil, eh? It's no wonder the kid's so strong, she thought silently. "Any more questions?" she asked.

That was a first, but Bat could care less at this moment. "Ziade. It fits you," he said as he started to turn the blade some. "Gives the impression that you're worth something," he said. When she asked had he anymore questions. "No." He then stepped back and lashed out with Nightshade. The green aura surrounding the blade began to dim. He'd put an end to this.

Ziade smiled as he said that her name gave the impression that she was worth something. "And I'm hoping my fighting isn't proving my name wrong," she said with a small grin. As he said he didn't have anymore questions, Ziade mimicked Bat as he stepped back, holding her sword to block his as he lashed out with it. As it hit her blade, she took a step back so that she didn't stumble. Ziade'd noticed the blade had started to dim and knew this kid was up to something. Without warning, Ziade spun around once and slashed her blade at Bat full force. Little did Bat know, when she spun around, she'd grabbed a few senbon and were holding them against the handle of her blade as she used it. They were glass senbon, so they weren't that visible.

Bat grinned. "Don't count on it," he said. He then clashed with her blade as she spun around and struck out at him. Stepping back and he struck out again two more times in the same pattern. She'd catch on eventually and find a way to counter it, that's when he'd make his move and end her life for good. He'd see her in hell though, whenever he got back that was.

Ziade had taken too much time with the spin, so she'd expected him to block her attack. But the point of the spin hadn't been for a hit. Ziade blocked both Bat's slashes and decided now was a good time to use those senbon. She knew he was trying to get her comfortable with his attack pattern, but she wouldn't allow him to make those kind of attacks for long. She'd take him out before he got a chance to take her out. She would allow no openings. Ziade stepped foward after Bat's second slash and slashed her sword at him, loosening her hand a little on her blade so that the senbon flew at his side area while she slashed her blade.
