Kira sighed,looking down at her village as the people began gathering in front of the kage balcony."The day was here.A little while ago,she'd received word from a scouting ninja that a group on patrol had been killed with what appeared to be snake venom.Their medics were able to gather enough of it to analyze and create an antii-venom to.Now,she ad to evacuate because she was actually beginning to be able to hear them coming with her cat ears."People of the Magma village,a great threat is coming to our village,"she started,already seeing unsettled people beginning to panic but the people she assigned to keep them calm do their jobs well."Me and several other ninja are going to stay and ward off this threat,but you will be evacuated to the hollowed out magma chambers by my assistant,Rumiko,"she explained.As the chunin and younger ninja began helping with the evacuations,Kira jumped from the platform to the tallest part of the village to keep watch over it and the evacuation.One main thing she noticed,which really pissed her off,Orochi and Lucky had disappeared a few days ago and hadn't returned,no notice,nothing!"I thought I could've counted on them.....Oh well,"she sighed,gripping the back of her staff.

Rumiko was sitting on the balcony watching Kira give the bad news. What was really bothering him was the fact that none of the Sani brothers had showed up during the annoucenment. He crossed his arms and watched the people's paniced faces as they learned the news. This wasn't going to be easy getting them out of the village and int the tunnels without some pushing and shoving. He sighed and looked at Kira as she jumped up. Standing up he followed. "Lady Kira, I'm guessing Lucky and Orochi won't be joining us?" He said. "What do you plan on doing now?"

Blair was in the crowd. How could they just have found this out. Why weren't they informed earlier. Blair frowned and then looked around at the people around her. They were already pushing ad shoving to get out. Man people sure could panic. Blair could see Rumiko going after Kira. "I guess I'll go help out," she said.

Kira sighed and looked forward."I plan on defending my village,with or without their help.Our medics have created an antidote to their poison attacks and weapons by getting it from our fallen scouts,so we have a somewhat advantage but it still won't be enough if the overwhelm us,"she explained then sighed again."This is going to be devastating to the village....so,make sure the people get into the caves without problem,okay?"she said,turning to him and smiling.Even though she smiled,she was afraid.....afraid for her village,their ninja and everyone.

Nyx knew he was supposed to be with Kira and the other right now, but he had to make sure his parents knew that Ami was okay. In his fathers medical condition, the man couldn't afford anymore stress. Nyx was with his mom and dad while Lady Kira had been giving the announcement. "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you guys sooner. I'm going to be staying and helping to fend off the invasion. I've already told Ami not to come home, so she'll be fine." At the sound of Nyx telling them that he was staying, his mother broke into tears and hugged him. "Ugh, mom. I'll be fine. I have to go meet with Lady Kira now. Take care of dad," he said as his mom let him go. Turning around, he gave a sigh and headed to meet Kira. He caught the part where Rumiko asked if Lucky and Orochi were coming. Nyx was immediately enraged. "I knew we couldn't trust those two!" he said angrily to Kira and Rumiko. "All they did was tell us what was gonna happen, then they took off! They were the ones who caused this mess to begin with!! They're cowards!" he said angrily.

Ladon was already standing behind Kira and Rumiko as Kira gave the announcement. He gave a sigh as Nyx came up to them and started off his mouth. "Calm down. Whether they're here or not, we've made all the necessary steps to ensure that the valley will be safe. Even if they were here, they'd be nothing more than backup at this point," he said, looking at the young ninja. He had alot to learn. Ladon had set up traps around the valley in case the invaders started getting too close. He had yet to tell Lady Kira about it though, for fear that one of the other ninja's may've overheard. He'd tell her just before the encounter.

Kira sighed."Ladon's right.Even if they came,back up is all they'd have been.Right now,we can't afford to let the enemy get too far into the village.They do not pass this kage building,do you understand?"she told them all,being extremely serious."Ladon,I want you and Nyx to make sure they start being pushed southward,toward the magma pools.Rumiko,make sure,if any other ninja tries to help,they don't get hurt,"she told them.She reached into her supply bag and pulled out 6 syringes filled with a yellowish green liquid."This is the antidote to their poison.Each of you take one and inject it into you now.Rumiko,give the extra one to any ninja helping out that isn't here,alright?"she explained,tossing one to each of them.

Ladon looked at Kira as she spoke, then to Nyx as she said that the two of them were to make sure the enemy didn't push forward. He then looked back to Kira as she gave them the syringes, and took his. Without much hesitation, Ladon injected the antidote into the crease of his arm, then looked back to Kira. "Lady Kira, I'd like to inform you that I've placed traps for the enemy around the valley. If they get too close, I'll give a signal a few moments before I set off the traps." He then looked to Nyx. "Let's go," he said before turning and heading out of the building and to the gates of the magma. He didn't trust that kid further than he could throw him, but orders were orders.

Nyx looked at Ladon as Lady Kira told him that he was to go with that guy. Well, from what Nyx knew, Ladon Blitz was the ANBU captain, so it was better than being sent out with a kid. He looked again to Kira as she told them all to take the antidote before they left. With a slight grin, Nyx took it. Awesome, now I can fight without having to worry about their poisons, he thought with a smirk. The smirk faded as Ladon explained that he'd put traps around the valley. It then turned into a frown and a small sigh as Ladon said they should go. Nyx followed the guy towards the gates without a word.

Kira nodded,glad they had an early trap set for them,along with their trap to attack them and send them to the magma pools."You go on as well,Rumiko,"she said,nodding to him.A jonin appeared next to her and told her that a large group of enemy ninja were coming,all who appeared to have a serpent like tattoo on their faces.She nodded."Bring all the jonin and everyone at the wall back and go to Ladon's position,quickly.Ladon has set up traps and they'll intercept the enemy first,"she explained.He nodded and left.

Rumiko sighed and nodded. "Understood." He took the antidote and then headed down into the crowd. It was hell down there. Everyone was trying to get a move on. Rumiko quickly got to the front and began to guide people to the caves. It was near impossible to stop them from shoving each other. He looked around for another ninja. They'd need to get the children and elderly in the caves first, and then the women, then the rest. "Blair! Come here," he called.

Kira watched as he went off,seeing the villagers evacuate in a bit of a panic.The people she asked to keep them calm were doing their best but could only do so much in a moving crowd.She leaped across a few buildings till she was at an area where she could keep an eye on the growing dust cloud approaching.Here they come,she thought,gripping her staff.After a couple of minutes,explosions occurred near the wall that protected the village as they triggered the traps Ladon had set up.Things died down after a few minutes and she saw that a majority of them had been killed by it but most of the stronger and higher level ones had survived and were coming over the wall and coming at them.She glanced back and saw a small number of the group of people still needed to get in.She put her hand on her ear."Ladon,time to drive them south,"she explained.

As Ladon received the orders from Kira, he put his hand to his ear. "Understood." He took his hand off his ear and looked at Nyx. "It seems the traps took care of most of them. But there are still some left. We have to start driving them back immediately before they get too close," he explained. He then looked around. He'd set traps in the Valley too, just in case these ninja were too powerful and pushed into the village. Buildings are easier to rebuild than stability after a takeover, he thought with a small smirk. He thought of what was coming after this battle was done. Something interesting would be happening, that was for sure. After that moments hesitation, Ladon pressed forward, expecting Nyx to follow. He started a jutsu as he went. "Magma Style: Giant Winged Serpent!" Out of the volcano a giant winged serpent (wasn't that unexpected, lol) made of magma emerged and flew towards the serpent warriors, spouting out streams of magma at them, then at the warriors that still had to get in.

Rumiko continued to lead people through the caves. It seemed the battle had began. He would have liked to join, but he had his own duties. It'd do no good if both the Kage, Assistant, and ANBU Captain all died. Then the village would be like the Storm. Confused. Rumiko sighed. "Keep moving," he said. He looked to the other helping ninja. He wondered how they were feeling. Personally he felt like he had a small part in this war. But then again, who else would help the villagers out? He sighed again. What would Kinaga do? The thought was painful but it made him smile. He'd have to make a full apology to Kinaga one day. Maybe after the village was back in shape. But he would apologize again, even if he still wouldn't be forgiven.

Blair had heard Rumiko call her, but she was small and couldn't get past all the people. "Excuse me," she said as she pushed past the people. When she made it to her sensei she looked up at him. "Yes sensei? What do you need me to do," she asked seriously. Blair was mostly hyper active, but she knew when it was time to be serious and when it was okay to play. Today was not the day to play.

Kira watched as the attack caused the serpent ninja to flee southward.She followed them down and watched as they began casting jutsu's of poison and serpents."Whoa!"she grunted,ducking a flying snake from hitting her head."May have an antidote in my system,but it doesn't mean I wanna get hit,"she whispered.She grabbed her staff and dove toward the front ninja,attacking in surprise and killing him in one hit.She dashed forward,knowing she had their attention."Ladon,Nyx,their on my tail.I'm leading them toward the magma pools."One of the serpent ninja's left from the pack and followed where they saw people rushing to.He saw Blair and Rumiko and began forming a jutsu to attack them.

Gabriel was helping out as well until he saw a ninja who was surely not one of theirs. Had someone escaped from the attacking group. Lookinga round for Rumiko he saw him far away. Gabriel had one of two options. Try and get to Rumiko or stop the guy himself. He wasn't trying to be a hero but a vision quickly came upon him. He saw kunais and people falling. Immediatly the vision ended. He didn't know what it meant but he was going to stop that ninja. Pulling three kunai he threw them at the ninja coming their way.

The ninja turned quickly,spotting the kunais and defending himself from them,feeling a couple cut into his arm.He began forming a different jutsu,turning his attention to Gabriel."Serpent shadow Strike!"the warrior hissed,summoning a serpent from his shadow on the ground and began moving quickly to strike him in the chest.

"Come help guide these people. Make sure the elderly and children get our first, then the women and men." He said. He went to say more when he saw kunai flying through the air. "What the hell was that." He looked down at his student. "Stay here and do as I said," he said. He then disappeared to where the kunais had come from. Only to find Gabriel and a snake ninja not to far away and he was starting a jutsu. Moving Gabriel out of the way Rumiko did a jutsu. "Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu."

The ninja growled,doing another handsign that canceled out the snake,causing it to disappear.He sent out a purplish black poison fireball,blocking the fireball attack.Pulling out a kunai,the ninja rushed forward,slashing at Rumiko quickly.The ninja already had a serpent in his sleeve to attack with,just in case he countered.

Ester was helping out when she spotted a snake ninja. She didn't even hesitate. She was a former Kage and she wasn't about to stand by and watch her friends be killed. "Rumiko back off," she said and pulled out a kunaia and threw it at the guy's arm as she ran towards him and Gabe. As if she'd let these slimy sleezeballs take over the village she grew up in.

The ninja was so busy paying attention to Rumiko and Gabe,he never saw the kunai coming and felt it hit deeper and harder into his arm than he wanted.It cut deep and caused the wound to bleed badly and also caused him to trip up his landing and he rolled,cutting the wound deeper and feeling it bleed extremely bad.He held the wound but feel and died.

The other serpent warriors continued to run while three others stayed behind,performing the summoning jutsu to summon three giant serpents that wrapped around the fire serpent and caused it to crash into the ground,destroying many buildings and the ground.The other ninja ran to the magma pools to escape and regroup.

"Now!Time to take them out!"Kira shouted.She was off in an instant,first taking out the three that used the summoning then continued on."Ladon,Nyx,everyone,I'm heading off toward the magma pools.We've almost got them completely trapped,"she said into her microphone in her ear.

Rumiko gave a sigh of relief when Ester came to his aid. "You're a lifesaver Ester," he said. "I'd be dead had you not showed up," he said noticing the snake in the guys sleeve. "Come on, I have to finish getting them into the caves," he said. He then looked to the spot where Kira and the others where. "They're fighting down there, I hope they're okay," he said.

Nyx was taking out quite a few snake ninja with his summonings, but when he heard that the Snake Warriors were attacking the groups of people being lead away, his eyes widened. He immediately turned and started towards the villagers, sending his summonings to go help take out the snake warriors attacking the citizens. His mom and dad were down there, he wouldn't let those slimy snakes get anywhere near them!

Ladon put his hand to his microphone. "Copy that. Me and Nyx will be down to help in a minute," he said in response to Kira telling them that she had them right on her tail. Ladon took his hand off his microphone only to see Nyx taking off towards the village. He quickly grabbed Nyx's arm and held him there, while speaking to him almost harshly. "Listen, there's other ninja down there assigned to protect the villagers. Call your jutsu's back. Lady Kira needs our assistance," he said, before letting go of Nyx's arm and starting towards the magma pools. Starting another jutsu, Ladon blew a fire style at a group of snakes blocking his path, then took his sword off his back and swiftly cut through one of the warriors standing in his path.
