Ellie walked across the open grass prairie. She had heard that this was known as the 'battle grounds'. She looked over it when she stopped. Some of the grass was blood stained. They weren't kidding when they said the battles were bloody. She turned her head, looking up to the trees. Some were broken. Battles seemed to get out of hand here. Either that or they were just very large battles with thousands of people.
Someone walked up beside her, looking were she was. "Many great battles were fought here."
"Indeed" Was Ellie's only reply.
"Why is it you came here?" The other asked.
"To inspect."
"And the others?"
"Learning the area."
"And I?"
"Learn it." Ellie said, leaning down to pick something up in her hand. She turned it over and whipped mud away from it. There was something engraved on it. 'Some battles should have never been fought.' Ellie stood up, giving the rock a toss. She turned around, pushing the hood off from her head. Her red eyes showed under her hair, and her hair fell to almost touch her shoulders. Her cat ears twitched. She heard someone, or something, coming in the direction.

He had seen his fair share of battles in this place, and many outside of it. War. Kraven was no fan of it. He disagreed with it, but there were more to come. At this very moment his own home was on the brink of it. One of the villages would fall and the Akastuki would have their way. He walked along the feild taking in the memories with each step. The first Akatsuki war, the second Akatsuki war. The War between the Magma and Stealth, and the one that was soon to come between the Snow and Stealth if the Kage didn't get his act together. He sensed the girl before he saw her. She was young, and not a person he knew. "Evening."

Ellie bowed her head to the stranger, pulling her hood up. She noticed he was much older then her, by maybe 20 years. She dug her nails into her staff, just out of habit. She said nothing, only looking over him. So this is a villager. It seems at least, i may be mistaking. she thought.
Jex wasn't very pleased with this new person nearby. He nodded lightly to him when he greeted them. "Good Evening to you, sir" He said, for both him and Ellie. She has gone silent, not wanting to use her voice around a stranger. Jex on the other hand was cautious. His mussels were tensed, ready to protect Ellie if need be.
Ellie sighed, not liking her ears being compressed under the hood, but she got used to it within a few seconds. She nodded her again to the stranger, as if asking who he was.

Kraven saw how tense Jex was, the girl on the other hand had fallen silent. Kraven almost smirked. What an odd bunch, he thought. "My name is Kraven Blood." He'd always found his last name interesting. A vampire with the last name of Blood. What a dead give away. "I'm a ninja of the Snow Valley. You two are?" He asked. He wanted to see if Jex would answer for the girl. He seemed a bit protective.
