A Day for a Kid Empty
PostSubject: A Day for a Kid   A Day for a Kid EmptyMon Dec 27, 2010 10:17 pm

Today was one of the days that Deita had nothing really to do. He'd rummaged around the hideout a few days before and found some paper, and had gone into a store by the villages and got some crayons. Just laying on his bed, Deita had papers spread out on it, just coloring. Some of the pictures were of his home village, and some were of the overview of the Stealth Valley that Lady Tenkuu had shown him. Granted, Deita wasn't the best artist, since he was just a kid. He was just drawing what he remembered, buildings and what not. His feet were kicked up in the air as he laid on his stomach coloring. "Come in," he said when he heard a knock on his door, without bothering to look to see who it was.

Lurking around the hideout since he had nothing to do Daya was poking his nose where it didn't belong. Looking in everyone's room to see who was there and who wasn't. He was about to poke his nose into Deita's room but he heard something that sounded like paper. Knocking he waited for someone to say something. He bobbed his head as he waited. Poking his head in he grinned at the younger Akatsuki. "What you doing?" He asked walking in.

PostSubject: Re: A Day for a Kid   A Day for a Kid EmptyTue Jan 11, 2011 2:50 pm

(congrats on your hundredth post Daya!)

Deita looked at his door as he heard the voice of Daya. He didn't know the man too well. But then again, Deita didn't know many of the akatsuki all that well. As the man asked what he was doing, he turned back to his coloring. "Just colorin'," he said simply. "What you doin?" he asked. Why the older akatsuki had come in to talk to him was beyond him. He thought most of the akatsuki were either antisocial or just plain ruthless. He hoped that this guy was the former. He didn't feel like getting beat up today. Even if the latter was the case, it wasn't like Deita wouldn't put up a fight. He'd gotten a little more bold since he'd come to join the akatsuki.

(really? wow, thanks)

Daya grunted. "Coloring? Why are you coloring? I know it's boring here, but seriously?" Daya crossed his arms and leaned against the door with his back. He had a smug look on his face. "Me on the other hand, I'm just lurking." Daya gave a small laugh. "I hear you're the new pet," he said peering out the door. He didn't want Deidara overhearing him.

Deita wasn't bothered by this man questioning him, so he didn't stop coloring. "I'm a kid, what else do you want me to do, play with building blocks?" he said sarcastically. He may've been shy, but having trained with Deidara a few times, and having been around the other akatsuki, he was quickly getting over that. Deita didn't respond for a moment when Daya said that he was just lurking. "Rats lurk." Sure it may've sounded offensive, but it was true. He stopped coloring and looked at Daya at his last statement. "What do you mean by 'pet'?" he asked.

Daya saw that had gotten his attention. "If you're calling me rat you're asking for it. I don't mind shoving my foot up your ass." Smirking he went to answer the question, "Yeah, you haven't noticed. It used to be Krissy, but you won't know anything about that. Deidara's little pet's get better treatment. Next thing you know you'll be third in comman over her." He said with a wild laugh. "I mean, he's training you personally. And before you ask, I know this because it's just me you and him here at the hideout. Everyone else if on assignment." Daya waved his finger side to side. "You're practically being spoon fed."

Deita didn't bother saying anything about the rat comment. That was the last thing he wanted to get into a fight over. He blinked when he said that Deidara's pets got better treatment, the said that he'd end up being third in command. Deita hadn't come here to climb the ladder, he just wanted more power to kill the wolves. And Deidara had promised him that. But according to Daya, there were things that Deidara wasn't telling him. He went to ask how Daya knew, but everything was being explained. His eyes flashed almost dangerously at Daya's last statement and he sat up and looked at the older man. "Liar," he spouted harshly as his little body would allow.

"Oh am I?" Daya walked towards Deita very slowly. "I've been here before you were even born and you have the audasity to tell me I'm lying? He asked. "Believe what you want, but I guarantee you, ask any other Akatsuki here and see what they tell you." He said stopping at the foot of Deita's bed. He had a balled up fist in one hand and was cracking his knuckles with the other. "Call me a liar once more."

PostSubject: Re: A Day for a Kid   A Day for a Kid EmptyThu Jan 13, 2011 7:36 pm

Deita watched the man approach him, but didn't move. He wasn't going to ask the other akatsuki about the whole pet thing. He didn't want to know. But at the same time, now that he did know the possible truth, he didn't want to believe it either. Deita swallowed and slid himself back on his bed a bit when Daya started cracking his knuckles, then told Deita to call him a liar again. But the sliding back had more motive in it than just out of fear. By sliding back, he was gathering up static on himself so that he could use it if he needed to, which he figured he soon would. "Li-ar," Deita said boldly. Sure, he was afraid of this man hurting him, but Deita was trying to teach himself to get over fear. It wouldn't get him anywhere.

Daya watched with a chuckle as Deita back away in what seemed to be fear. He stopped though. "You god damned brat!" Daya said screamed when Deita insisted on calling him a liar again. He kicked the bed. He was going to demolish this boy if it was the last thing he did. "Red Haze." Daya disappeared in red mist and appeared above Daya. He pulled a kunai and swiped it down on the other Akatsuki. Daya used phase techniques which allowed him to move through objects using a red mist. He could easily take out opponents with this.

Deita jumped as Daya yelled at him and kicked the bed. He blinked when the red haired guy disappeared and was hit in the shoulder with the kunai when the man swiped it down at him. Great, now blood was gonna stain his bed. Of course that really wasn't what he was worried about, but it had been one thing that'd passed through his head. Deita had only flinched when the kunai hit him, determined not to give this man the pleasure of hearing him scream in pain. Pulling the kunai out, he threw it up at Daya, then scrambled to pull out his sword from under his bed.

Kadaj had just gotten back from the Storm Valley. He was there with Bat for the past few weeks, but now he was back at the organization. He wondered if anyone was home. The last thing he remembered was that everyone had gotten sent out. "No welcome home party?" That's when he heard a scream. Looked like something was going on. He knocked on Deita's door then opened it to see the little guy and Daya fighting. "Having fun?" He asked with a smirk.

Daya retreated into the mist. His lack of reaction hindered him from being hit by the kunai the midget had thrown at him. Appearing back at the foot of the bed he walked over to the other side so he could gut Daya. That rat, that suck up had called him, him! of all people a liar! He'd kill him. Daya didn't lie. He pulled out a kunai and went to his the boy when Kadaj came in. Daya stopped. "Much fun," he said as he pocketed the kunai.

Deita quickly pulled his sword out from under the bed, unsheathing it as he did, trying his best to ignore the pain in his shoulder, but it wasn't working all that well, since some of Deita's movements were clumsy because of his wound. He blinked in surprise as he saw someone at his door, and that Daya had stopped and put his kunai away because of it. At this point, Deita was thinking that if other people found out that Daya was attacking him, the older man might be in trouble. And Deita wouldn't lie, he was glad that this silver haired individual had shown up, or Deita probably would've been put through more pain than just a kunai to the shoulder. Regardless of the fact that Daya had stopped, Deita kept a hold on his sword, just in case. He glared at Daya as the guy said that they were having much fun. He was tempted to call the red headed man a liar again, but though better of it. "If that's what you want to call it..." the kid near mumbled. Fun? How the hell was this fun!

(No more disappearing for me.)

"You can put the blade away." He would destroy this brat if it was the last thing he did. "If you don't like to party then you should learn to keep your trap shut, you midget." Daya's tongue was sharp as his blade. His threat was still open, Deita was not off the hook just because Kadaj had walked in. "We didn't wake you did we?" He was talking to Kadaj. That green eyed mouse was no threat to Daya. That or he was being cocky as usual. "You're not going to go run to Deidara and snitch are you? Tattle tails are always the first to go." And by go, he meant die.

(Yayz!)

Deita kept his gaze on Daya a few more seconds when the guy said he could put his blade away before actually lowering it. The little kid nearly growled when Daya called him a midget. "Maybe you should learn to keep out of other people's business, rat," Deita retorted. Okay, so he knew that now he was really asking for it. He also knew that if he got hurt too bad, his next training session wouldn't go over too well. But that was the last thing on his mind right now. He'd taken on Daya before when he'd first come to the Akatsuki, and since then he'd definitely gotten stronger. But he knew he wasn't strong enough to be getting cocky just yet. He was, after all, still just a kid. Deita'd lowered his blade a bit, but it hadn't left his grasp. He didn't trust this red haired freak.
