The war between the Magma village and the Akatsuki was a constant fight with no rest.It seemed that the Akatsuki,having the higher ground,the fact that they were will rested and had the ultimate advantage and someone within the village who betrayed them,they would easily wipe out the Magma ninjas.As the fighting wore on,things seemed bleak,attacks from both sides,their heat source disappearing and the strongest of the Akatsuki coming in later to attack them?!What victory could be obtained from this and who could grab it!?Apparently,the great leader of their village,Kira,could.Never giving in,she encouraged her ninja to fight on,that they would be able to win this.She went on,fighting through to the leaders of their attack,Itachi and Xantrex.

Their confrontation led to the discovery of Ladon's true identity,a devastating moment indeed...but now was not the time for it.She began fighting them,clearly outmatched due to their being only her fighting two high ranking akatsuki.And yet,she continued on,hoping some miracle would occur.That came in the form of Rumiko,her assistant,coming and helping her fight.She took Itachi and,though nearly died doing it,give him a great injury.As this happened,the heat that they loss came back,their volcano becoming active again.With renewed fire and intense courage,her ninja fought off the akatuki threat,taking down nearly all the weaklings they sent in and leaving the few strongest ones left,injured.Due to this and though they kept fighting,Itachi called back his living group,retreating.

Kira watched as the last of the Akatsuki that were alive ran from their village.She breathed heavily,barely able to stand."We won...that's good,"she whispered before passing out,falling back.A few hours later,she awoke in a medical tent,bandaged and slightly drugged to numb her pain.She looked around as people started coming back out,the genin and chunin helping them while the jonin and other higher up ninja helped with reconstruction.She walked around,talking to Rumiko and other,finding out she'd fought two Akatukis named Xan and Itachi.Barely getting by with the skin of her teeth,and help from the Infamous Five,she sent them off after injuring the leader of their attack.Kira sighed and smiled,looking out to the rising sun."A new day for our village.....We have a lot of rebuilding to do."
