Linix spun a kunai on his finger. "Can I kill something now? Why don't we ever go to a village where I can kill stuff?" He was sitting in a room with the other Infamous Five members. He liked their name. Infamous. It sounded bad ass. "Ziade, why are we here? The Snow ain't comin' back." He was bored. "That fight was good and all, but I need more than four second of killing stuff." He looked at Kyoushiro. "You agree with me right? What about you Lightning. You like killing stuff too right? Akira, I know you don't like killing stuff, you're a softy. Ziade, why do you have a softy in the group? We can be Infamous with a softy."

Akira too was in the room. He found Linix to be the least pleasant person to be around, but unlike the other member of the Infamous Five he knew how to keep his mouth shut. Yes, some would assume that to be a symbol of weakness, but he saw it as he knew how to control himself. If Linix wanted to think of him as the weaker link, then that was fine. Akira knew his strengths and weaknesses. He also knew others, such as Linix. However that information was his and his alone. No need to give out valuable information when he could use it later, in more important situations. This was not one of those situations.

Lightning sighed, listening to Linix's rambling. She.....tolerated everyone in the Infamous Five. If not, she wouldn't be able to stay with them. "I enjoy doing what I do, whether it be killing or.....nothing," she said, shrugging and laying back against the window seal, looking outside. Though, she had to admit, she didn't like being cooped up. It was.....what was the word? "Aggravating? Irritating? Annoying? No.....simpler.....This is boring," she said with a sigh, sitting up.

Ziade looked at Linux as he asked if he could kill something now. She'd been looking through some papers on the couch. It hadn't been too long after she'd brought them to the Inux Estate, and already they were complaining. She withheld a sigh and looked at him calmly. "Calm yourself Linux. Our point in coming to this village was to lead it to believe that it was a major possibility that it may be attacked again. We needed money and a place to stay, and we have it. You want to kill something, go find a group of bandits on a day off. Right now we have to work on our placements throughout the village." If you asked her, they were getting paid for nothing. There was a chance that another village might attack them, but it was slim. The new Kage of the Crested was kind-hearted from what she heard, and the rest of the villages and even the Akatsuki were all suffering from some kind of defeat. Except the Snow and the Storm. But she didn't think that the Snow would pull another attack like that so soon after, it was unwise for the Kage to do so. It had been unwise for him to attack in the first place, if you asked her. So the only village they truly had to worry about was the Storm. Ziade didn't know much about the Kage other than he had a short temper. She hadn't been able to get a good read off of him their last meeting, but even so, he didn't seem like a tyrant to her. So that ruled him out. Honestly, she didn't believe anyone was going to try another attack. But this Kage and her ANBU body guard seemed to believe differently. And that was all just fine and dandy with her.

So she was just using the Kage's sense of being paranoid to get employed. Akira should have known. Ziade was always up to something. He wondered if she had more to her plan that she was letting on. Akira stood up. "Where exactly do you want us, when the time comes?" He asked as casually as he always did. "And are we helping with their repairs or just keeping a look out for anything out of the ordinary?" At times Akira wondered if Ziade was ever honest with them. He started to the window and looked out of it. This was a very nice Estate, but he'd noticed how they'd been restricted to certain parts. He'd go through and check it out himself when no one was around.

"I am calm damnit!" Linix slammed his hand down on the table. Had he hit it any harder he would have broke the glass. "I don't want to guard villages, I want to cool stuff!" Linix clenched his fist. "And I sure as hell don't want to kill bandits." He sat back on the couch. "Come on Ziade, why don't you ever take us someplace where there's action? How are we suppose to be Infamous when we don't do crap." Linix crossed his arms over his chest. "Lightning, I'm with you, I'm bored too." He looked at Ziade accusingly. Then he looked to Akira. "Aren't you eager to get out and go..."

Lightning sighed. "Bored to the point that yelling is an extreme annoyance," she told him, giving him an irritated look. She would've been fine staring but his yelling and complaining was getting on her last nerve, which wasn't as simple as it sounded if you were an ally. "I'm willing to wait and follow Ziade's orders, no matter what." She sat up. "It'll be nice getting out of here. There won't be as much hell to go through just sitting in here," she told them, standing and stretching.

(To whomever plays Lightning: I'd like to put it out there that originally her personality was supposed to be that of the quiet one.)

First, Akira. "If the time comes, I'd like you all to be as close to the gates as possible. Attack or no attack, we're here to do a job, and we're gonna do it right. I want you all to be the first out there if an attack starts. If you want to help with the repairs, help with them. It's not our job though, so it's not necessary." She looked to Linux. "And that doesn't mean you can bust up everything that's being repaired on the sly. I'll know if you do." Yes, that most certainly had been directed at him and his mischievous ways.

Second was Linux, who was beginning to get out of hand. She wondered where Kyoushiro was. "Cool stuff?" she repeated. "Not every mission we have is going to be filled with bloodshed and violence. If that's what you're expecting, no one is forcing you to stay with us." She sighed when he brought up that whole Infamous title. "May I remind you, the only reason we've been dubbed the Infamous Five is because of that little mishap of yours in the Grass Village." Ziade had never meant for their group to be named so scrupulously. If you're trying to take on work for villages, it's better to have a name that advertises your ability, not your alignment. But it was too late now. She was hoping to get the groups' reputation up enough so that the name Infamous Five just became a name rather than an alignment factor.

"Does anyone know where Kyoushiro is?" she asked. She'd rather not get started on placements without him being there. She didn't want to repeat herself.

Lightning listened in silent, knowing she was right about the missions. She didn't mind though, a mission was a mission. She hoped it would have some excitement to it, but it didn't matter to her. She shook her head to her question. She had no clue where he was. She hadn't seen him since after the war and they were helping the clean up a bit.

Akira shook his head no. "I haven't seen him since we got here." Akira wondered if he was off getting himself into trouble. Him and Linix seemed to be the trouble makers of the group. He thought about what Ziade said. He would help with the repairs, whether it was his job or not. Why shouldn't they. After all, the faster the repairs went, the sooner they could move on. So that's it. If we help with repairs, thing will go faster and they won't need use anymore. Ziade, you are such a sly woman. Don't you have some heart. You may be looking out for us, but we have an obligation to these ninja as well.
