{They Made Me Who I Am Today}

Family History: Echo and Jirou Saitou met when they were in the Academy. Growing up as best friends, they'd promised to marry each other. However, when Echo became a Chuunin, her family moved away, taking her with them. Jirou was torn up inside, but he was determined to find the girl of his dreams. Thus moving to the Snow where Echo now resided. They were originally from the village hidden in the Stones. It wasn't until they were both Jonin that the two married. Three years after marriage they had their first daughter, Rin. Rin was a natural ninja who focused on becoming better from the first second she could walk. About four years after they had Rin, Hanabi was born. A genjutsu master like her mother and a rival for her sister, she too was a natural. It wasn't until way later that they decided to try for another child. Jirou wanted a boy to carry the name. And so Kazuma was born, but to his father's disappointment the boy was not ninja material.


Character History: Kazuma is the youngest of three kids. Both of his older sisters are born ninja. Rin is an ANBU and Hanabi is a Special Jonin while he's still a Genin. By the time his sisters were twelve they were halfway through their Chuunin training. From the very start he was determined to be a ninja, but he could never live up to his father's expectations because he had dreams. Kazuma didn't just want to be a ninja, he wanted to fly. However, spending more time trying to make that happen and less time training, he's gotten onto his father's bad side and his mother isn't exactly happy with that because it's causing arguments between the two. And to add on to that, Kazuma's sisters make sure to rub it in his face about how much of a failure he is. It really doesn't help because his sensei won't register him for the exams, and his entire team thinks he's weak, and the Kage won't even considering letting him try.


{A New Beginning}

Kazuma closed the doors to the house and walked down the steps. Everyone was home and his sisters were being very annoying. Rin was making sly remarks about how he would be a Genin for the rest of his life. And Hanabi was getting into a story about how she was the best of her class when she was a Genin. He couldn't stand it any longer. "I'll be someone, they'll see," he mumbled under his breath. Walking through the snow he started towards who knew where. He was sick of everyone telling him he was a failure. He was not a failure. It was hard to stay positive when everything around him was negative, but he was trying his best. "Maybe I should just give up and focus on being a ninja."
