Personality: A lone black winged messenger of unknown race and origin. Cross doesn't disappoint in this area, as he acts as others perceive him to be: quiet, mysterious, dangerous. He doesn't speak much, and when he does, it's usually with a blank expression on his face and in a rather monotone voice. He has a very dry sense of humor, and there's a very select few who can even pick up on it when Cross is using any kind of humor.

Family History: Nothing is known about Cross's family, but he does live with a rather unusual child by the name of Alice, a creature who he picked up (or rather, was followed by) on one of his many ventures into the Unknown. He named her Alice with an amused sense of irony in relating her to 'Alice in Wonderland'.


Character History: Cross has been about for a long time, though nobody knows much about him. He's a difficult man to track down, but when you need a job done, it seems relatively easy to find him in comparison...


{A New Beginning}

Cross walked through the Stealth, a white cat with onyx eyes walking by his side, occasionally stopping to chase a bird, or some other animal. That was Alice. A strange little creature who could shapeshift, and heal wounds with a song. Cross didn't care for much, but he was always wary of the child going about on her own. She never truly did grasp the dangers that lurked outside of the Unknown. An unusual statement, considering where he'd found her.

The winged messenger walked casually enough, but was well aware of the fear and awe he instilled in the villagers as he passed by them. There was a man he was supposed to meet around here. Well, not around here, persay. In the village. Near the black market. He hadn't wanted Alice to come with him, but the child was stubborn and playful and naive. It was infuriating. Cross glanced at the cat next to him as it pounced on a butterfly, and nearly smiled. "You! Hey you there!" he heard someone call. When he turned his gaze, there was a man coming up to him. The man he was supposed to meet. "I wasn't sure you existed, but I needed something, and here you are, like they said!" When Cross responded with nothing but a blank stare, the man swallowed and continued. "R-right...follow me then, best not to talk about this in public..."
