{I'm the Greatest Ninja of Them All}Face Claim: Ikuto Tsukiyomi of Shugo Chara{You Think You Know Me}Character Name: Kinaga Unabara
Nicknames: Kinny, The Storm Ninja
Age: 33
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 158lbs
Gender: Male
Personality: Kinaga is the type of person who doesn't hold a grudge. He's kind-hearted and loyal to all that he calls his friends. But, if you screw him over, he will not hesitate to kill you. If you were a friend, then he'll spare you, in the hopes that you might change for the better, but if it happens twice, he'll finish the job. He's rather laid back and lazy, but when it comes to it, he'll get the job done. Though he doesn't hold grudges often, if you find a person whom he holds a grudge towards, it'll be a powerful one, one that he can never forgive. That being said, when he sees the object of his grudge, you can bet they won't live long. Kinaga can be a bit clueless at time, especially, as it seems, when it had to do with something important. This had earned him the title of 'Oblivious' among his peers.

Family History: The Unabara clan is one purely of ninja. They are centrally located in the Stealth Valley, but some of their members have moved to other locations, as Kinaga did. In order to assure that their children become ninja, they are branded with a cursed mark soon after birth, one that the Unabara's have nearly perfected. There are only a few children who do not survive the process. This process is carried out in secret, however, and the members of the Unabara clan are forbidden to use the curse mark except in dire situations, to prevent exposure to the outside world.
Character History: Kinaga lived in the Stealth Valley for the first half of his life, a nice childhood, nothing too out of the ordinary. He did not, however, want to become a ninja. His aspirations were completely different, as he had a certain love for music, especially that of the violin. As a child he was particularly skilled in playing the violin, and as such wanted to break away from the Unabara tradition and teach music instead. His mother, being from a different clan, supported that idea, but his father, not so much. After his mother died when he was ten, any hopes he had of following his dreams were shattered. Before she'd died however, Kinaga's mother had taught him several jutsu that had to do with storms, and they'd come quite easily to him.
Even though a lot of the time Kinaga was distracted with playing his violin, he rose to be one of the top ninja in his classes in the Academy. His father had always said that he got his 'natural smarts' from his mother. He graduated from the academy at the age of twelve, just like most of the other ninja in his class. His squad as a genin consisted of himself, Juna Tandil, Akitori Midoshi, and his sensei Ranka Sendo. Out of them, Juna was the stealthiest, Akitori the swiftest, and Ranka was an all around terrific ninja. Kinaga was sort of the oddball out. He had nothing in particular he was good at, or so he thought. His sensei tended to tell him that he was the one that kept the groups' spirits up, though Kinaga never quite saw that as a perk. Kinaga and Akitori often had disputes, which were, of course, refereed by Juna. Akitori won most of said disputes, whether verbal or physical. At least in the earlier years. By the time they were both Chuunin, they were pretty evenly matched, and by the time they were Jonin, Kinaga was the stronger of the two.
When the three squadmates became Chuunin (all on the same year, thanks to their sensei), they were assigned to stay on a squad with Ranka. When they were assigned to their first B-ranked mission, things didn't go so great. Both Juna and Ranka had died, leaving Akitori and Kinaga the only ones to return to the Stealth Valley with a failed mission report. After that, the two were assigned a new squad, but Kinaga quickly rose the ranks after that, becoming Jonin, then ANBU, within a matter of years.
Soon after he was made an ANBU, Kinaga was stationed in the Crested for a few months, where he met Shisu, who he quickly fell for. Despite his loyalty to the Stealth, he stayed in the Crested so that he could be with Shisu. Eventually, Shisu had ended up becoming pregnant, and it was right before Kinaga had intended on proposing to her. Though something went wrong in the child's birth, and both Shisu and the child died within hours of each other. Or so Kinaga was told. Kinaga returned to the Stealth after this, heartbroken, and ended up becoming a sensei there, where he met Rumiko, one of his best students, whom he quickly became close to. Eventually it was found out that the Mizuraki, a very powerful clan, was trying to take over the Stealth, and trying to wipe out the Unabara clan as well. Of course, Kinaga couldn't let this happen. There was eventually a large mission to take out this clan, which went successfully, but resulted in Kinaga's death. But no, this is not the end of his tale, in fact, it is his beginning...
Twenty years later, a priest of some sort was attempting a ritual, and this, this resulted in Kinaga's resurrection. Things had changed quite a bit by that time, a war had passed, the Akatsuki had risen to power...Kinaga decided to go live in the Stealth for a while, then he moved to the Storm Valley, becoming the Kage when Ginger Stormwatcher stepped down. Kinaga participated in the second war between the Akatsuki and the Shinobi, but there was a complication. It turned out a woman whom he believed to be his friend had changed sides, and he hadn't wanted to kill her. So when the time came for him to do so, he simply couldn't, dropping the jutsu, and costing the Shinobi the war, being labeled thereafter as a traitor. After this event occurred, Kinaga stepped down from his position as Kage, and went to live on his own for a while, believing himself unable to rejoin the villages. After the war had ended, Kinaga had met someone by the name of Kaoru Sakaiya, who looked eerily similar to him. Being as oblivious as he is, didn't notice this.
While helping to escort Miss Sakaiya back to her home with the help of Rumiko, they ran into an old enemy of Kinaga's, and an old sensei of Rumiko's, Hisoya Remus. Remus was after revenge on Kinaga for killing a woman whom he loved. The thing about that was, the woman had been helping plot the downfall of the Stealth, and it was Kinaga's mission to dispose of her. But when does that ever stop crazed psychopaths? It didn't, and as such, it was quickly found out that Remus had faked Kaoru's death when she was born, and that the girl was actually Kinaga's daughter, and that Remus had killed Shisu whilst she had been in the hospital. After several failed attempts, Kinaga finally managed to kill Remus, but not before being betrayed by his once student, Rumiko Iruki. After that Kinaga decided to move back into his old home at the Crested, not too long after meeting an old cousin of his from the Mizuraki clan (who, of course, tried to kill him to become the last Mizuraki). Kinaga of course survived this encounter and convinced his cousin Kyzer to live peacefully in the Crested. This is where Kinaga's life picks up.
{A New Beginning}Kinaga walked down the streets of the Crested, like he had nothing to do. Well, he really didn't. He was bored out of his mind, wishing that something would come along to end his boredom. And as if on cue, Kyzer appeared seemingly out of nowhere, wrapping his arm over his cousin's shoulder in a playful manner. "Hey cuz, how've you been, eh?" Kinaga gave an irritated sigh. "Go away Kyzer," he stated bluntly. Okay, this hadn't exactly been what he'd had in mind when he thought about something coming along to end his boredom. He disliked his cousin. His cousin had tried to kill him, that was not something he would forgive easily. But, he wouldn't kill the guy. After all, he
was family.
