Kono sat at a table in a restaurant by herself. She wasn't wearing her akatsuki jacket, she just didn't want the looks today. She'd been at the akatsuki for about a week and a half now, and was finally getting the feel of things around there. Kono thanked the waiter as he brought up her order. It was something she'd loved in her past life: Spagetti and Meatballs. She sighed. She'd have to get used to this new life snd fast. People would soon find out something was up if she kept up this depressing demeanor. She pushed the food around on her plate with her fork. She'd already lost her appetite. She looked around. It was a good thing this wasn't one of the places she'd stolen from before.

Ken walked slowly through the small crowd in the shooping district, he had seen Kono walk into the resturaunt and had followed her. He saw her sitting alone and smiled, imagining Lucky, Jutsu, Lex and him all being at the table with her, if only she didn't have that dejected look on her face the memory would have been more fun...and if all of his friends were still alive... He walked over and tapped her shoulder and spun into the booth on the other side of the table with a smile on his face. "Hey Kono, no appetite?" He said with good humor filling his voice, "Can I sit here? unless this seat is occupied, then I'll move." Ken put his elbows on the table and leaned on his hands ant watched Kono. The smile never even for an instant began to dissapear on Ken's face.

Kono blinked and sat up straight as she saw Ken come out of nowhere and sit in front of her. Rather than the depressed look she had on her face a moment ago, it was now one of minor irritation. "Sure, whatever," she said, as he asked if he could sit there. She looked off to the side a minute, then back at Ken, realizing something. "Have you been following me?" It seemed rather odd to her that he'd appear at the same place as her when she was looking to go into the akatsuki, and now he'd appeared in the same restaurant...at the same time.

Ken laughed slightly but hardily and nodded "Yes, yes I have. Sorry for being a stalker" Ken kept smiling and was laughing under his breath. "And Yes, I am prefectly sane." Ken smile lightened to one of just normal contentness or even happiness. His eyes wandered to the seats next to Kono. He remembered his first date with Mamodo, how long ago was that? He couldn't even remember, then his second, and his marriage to her...and then momoshiro was made... Ken's smile during these thoughts had faded to be a very very melancholy one. He noticed and quickly shook the thoughts out of his head, smiling again. "So what are you doing here?" ken added in his currently happy voice.

Konohana sighed. Great, I just came back from the dead and already I have a stalker, she thought in annoyance. She noticed Ken's smile fade for a few seconds, and wondered what he was thinking about. It seemed already to her that hardly anything could break this guys mood. Then he asked her what she was doing there. She rolled her eyes and said sarcastically "Gee, I wonder." It was a restaurant afterall. Why do people go to restaurants if not to eat?

"I mean in the shopping center, not the resturaunt. I'm not THAT dumb thank you." Ken chuckled softly. It was obvious Kono was annoyed by him, oh well, he felt happy, although he had no idea why. ken looked into Kono's eyes while awaitiong her answer. His eyes shone as if he was a child, or remembering something about childhood atleast. He couldn't even sort out his own emotions right now, but he kept smiling. Ken snapped out of his thoguhts and went back to listening to Kono, if she would reply. He actually wondered why Konohana was annoyed, was he too happy? Or was it just the stalker thing, he wondered if she understood that he was joking the entire time he ad said that about stalking her.

Yeah, sure. You were dumb enough to follow me, she thought silently. She shrugged. "I needed to get out of the hideout for a bit. What's your excuse?" What was with this kid? Why was he so damned happy?
