The day was sunny, with dark gray clouds approaching solemnly from the the east. The time was One O'clock in the afternoon, and the graveyard was almost completely deserted. Atticus, who had made the journey to the graveyard many times before, approached the graveyard with a blank expression. He does this almost daily, and, oddly, no one ever sees his transition from house to graveyard.

As Atticus approached the graveyard, he looked up. The grey clouds that had threatened to move towards the valley had done just that, and it looked as though rain was eminent. He kept walking forward, and eventually reached the section of the graveyard his parents were buried in.

By the time that he had actually reached the back, the rain had started. This didn't bother him, because he was a vampire, and hated sunlight. The section of the graveyard he was heading to was labeled "Unwanted." He knew this wasn't true, but they were buried here when prejidice was very high.

He looked at the grave. He heard a noise behind him, and turned to face it.

Tenkuu walked to the Graveyard with alot of flowers in her hand. She was going to visit her brother's grave. He'd been dead for almost a year now and every month on the fifteenth Sukai brought flowers, but Tenkuu brought them when she had the chance. As she walked along the row of graves she spotted a person next to a grave. The sign on them were very disturbing. They read Unwanted. Tenkuu felt herself walking towards him. She had no idea what she was doing, she didn't know this guy at all and she had to visit Sky still. Slowly she took a deep breath and said, "Excuse me, but I noticed the sign, why does it say that?" She asked feeling like a small little kid again. Slowly she examined him. Greyish white hair and red eyes that looked mezmorizing. Tenkuu knew he was different, but what he was, she couldn't tell.

He looked at her, his cool gaze penetrating into her soul. He spoke with a cool tongue, and he has a slightly foreign accent. It sounded almost Translevanian. "This is where the...other people are buried. People such as werewolves, hybrids, and....vampires are buried here. This section was from three years ago, back when it was prejiduced. Sadly, they haven't take down the sign that says unwanted." He sighed and looked back towards his parents grave. "My parents are buried here. I...I wish not to tell you what they were, for I don't want you to hate me."

Atticus walked closer to the graves. He knelt down. He looked over at Tenkuu, and noticed she was carrying a bundle of roses. "Excuse me, but may I have two of the roses for the graves? My name is Atticus, by the way." He stood up and walked towards her. Her held out a hand to be shaken.

Tenkuu smiled quietly. She liked the way he spoke. It was so foreign. She'd never met someone who was foreign before. Shen then glanced at him as he spoke about the graves history. Tenkuu eyes slightly closed. The story wa sad, why would anyone hate Vampires, Werewolves, and Hybrids. She thought them to be beautiful creatures that existed to give the world more variety. For everyone to be the same, was such a dull way of life. Shen looked at him as he said his parents were there. She felt a twinge of pain for him. If her parents were buried by prejiduce she would have an ever lasting hate. She wondered if he was that way, she couldn't tell. Strangely she couldn't read him like the others. When he asked for the roses she shook her head. "Here," she said handing him too and then shaking his hand. "I'm Tenkuu," she said.

Atticus took the roses, and walked back to his parents graves. He placed a white one on his mother's grave, and a blue on on his father's grave. He stood up again. He looked at Tenkuu. "So, what brings you to such a place?" He walked up next to her. He observed her. She was about his age, probably one year or so later. Her hair was slightly longer than his, and she was probably and inch shorter than him. She smelled oddly of strawberries. He held out his arm in the direction of the rest of the graves. "After you, Tenkuu." He looked closer at her. "Wait! You are the Kage of the Stealth, are you not? If this is true, than you are visiting your recently passed brother, right?"

Tenkuu looked at Atticus as he laid his roses on his parents grave. When he asked her what she was here for she felt herself shutter with sadness. "My br...." she was cut off suddenly when he mentioned she was the Stealth Kage, Tenkuu wondered if there was no one out there who didn't know her. "Yes," she said quietly. "I'm visiting my brother Sky, it's been nearly a year since his death." Tenkuu looked at the dark ground to avoid looking at him. She felt as if she could never be normal.

Atticus looked at Tenkuu. She looked like she was just shot or something. "Tenkuu, are you okay? Did I say something to upset you?" He touched her shoulder lightly his his right hand. His hands were abnormally warm for a vampire, but still very cold all the same. He took a deep sigh. "Don't worry, Tenkuu. You will eventually get over Sky's death... I got over my parents death. And now look at me!" He jumped and did a backflip. "I'm just fine!" He laughed at his pituful attempt for happiness. He was happy, oddly, for the first time in a while. It was like Tenkuu eminated happiness.

Tenkuu looked at Atticus. She had not meant to make it seem as though he needed to worry about her, but it was awfully kind of him to care. "Thank you," she said. "I'm fine." She then smiled as he did a backflip. She'd never met someone such as him. It was quite strange, but yet interesting all at the same time. She was enjoying his company. Tenkuu smiled then looked towards Sky's grave. She though she should go and lay his flowers down before they started to wilt. She started forward glancing back to see if Atticus was following. She laid the flowers down and read his grave stone again. It read:

Atticus watched as Tenkuu walked up to the grave. He kept a respectable distance. The rain was worsening, so he walked up to Tenkuu, and handed her something from his pocket. It was a pocket sized umbrella. "Please take this, Tenkuu. I don't want a kage to end up sick because she went to visit her brother's grave in the cold rain." He backed away from her and waited for her to finish what she was doing. When she did, he walked beside her on their way away from the grave.

Tenkuu looked at Atticus as he handed her the umbrella. "Thank you," she said as she stood up and opened it and though she was shorter than him she tried holding it above him as well. "Can't have you sick either" she said. She then walked to the gates of the graveyard. "Um, Atticus, what vllage are you from," she asked since she'd never met him before. She thought she should get to know him since he'd been kind to her for the time that they'd spent together. It was ironic how she made a new friend whenever she was out of the office. Being confined to that place was cutting off her social life.

Atticuse looked at her and took the umbrella. He held it above both of them for her. "I'm from the Storm Valley." He walked at Tenkuu's pace, careful to make sure she didn't get wet. "So. I know your from the Stealth Valley, but who were your parents?" He sighed at the thought of his. He touched the necklace he had on with his free hand. They were heading to the crossroads where they would have to split up.

Tenkuu looked at the road ahead. They'd be splitting soon. What a short amount of time they had. When he asked her about her parents she wasn't sure how to respond. "Well, my real parents I never knew them. Jutsumaster took me in when I was really small," Tenkuu said. "I didn't have a father growing up." She wanted to ask him about his parents, but after what he said earlier, she wasn't sure if he would speak to her about it.

He looked ahead at the road. "My parents died three years ago. They were murdered and tortured. They hid me so I wouldn't suffer the same fate. They were vampires, and because of that, they were hated..." He looked at Tenkuu. "I understand if you hate me because I am a vampire, but I must insist that I am a good person." He sighed. They reached the road crossing, and he handed the umbrella to Tenkuu. "You keep that, I don't need it."

Tenkuu looked at Atticus as they reached the end of the road. "I wouldn't hate you for something like that," she said. "Anyway who hates someone for who they are can only be classified as wrong," Tenkuu said. She then took the umbrella. "Besides, I have too many in my family that are like you to hate you, I'd only be a hypocrite," Tenkuu said smiling. "Thank you," she said looking towards the umbrella. "And it was nice meeting you."

"Really? And what kind of outcast were they? Wolf, hybrid, or vampire?" He was interested to know before he left. He smiled and looked into her eyes. "It was nice meeting you too, Tenkuu. You seem like a very nice person. I look forward to the next time we meet."

Tenkuu blinked. Did he just call her family a bunch of outcast? The last time she checked everyone loved and adored her family. But hey, she couldn't judge him because he had grown up in that kind of world. "Well, Sky and Jay are wolves, along with Takashi. Kai is a Hybrid. Micah, Bell, Suri, and Kraven are vampires. Everyone else is regular," she said with a small shrug.

He smiled. Just hearing her say that made him feel a million times better. "Wow. That's a lot of special people. The only thing my family was were vampires." She shrugged and turned towards the raod leading to the Storm. "I guess I'll see you later, Tenkuu." He began to walk off, his hoped rather high. He hoped he could meet a fellow vampire.

Tenkuu smiled as Shen walked away. "I'll be looking forward to out next meeting," she said as she turned towards the Stealth. She wasn't depressed like she usualy was when coming from the Graveyard. It was all thanks to Atticus.
