Muna walked quietly through the open, her cloak wrapped snugly around her. It was cold out today. She looked up as she walked, and let out a sigh that made her breath visible. She may've made a living off being an assassin, but her real intentions were to kill off everything supernatural. She'd had a die-hard grudge against them from day one. Anything that wasn't human didn't have a right living along side them. Stopping, she pulled out a gun, cocked it, and pointed it towards a tree, with her finger on the trigger, all within two seconds. "Who's there?" she asked coldly. She wasn't really in the mood to be bothered today.

Kitsra had been hanging in the tree for quite some time looking for some beings that weren't meant to live in this world. She'd been given the duty by one of the higher councils. Myozashi her older brother had gone off to a different mission outside the village leaving her to do the job by herself. Her scarf was wrapped around her neck and her ears were about to fall of from the cold. Giving her arms a small rub she heard a clicking sound and instantly dropped from the tree with both guns in her hand to come face to face with a woman with her gun out as well. Was she a hunter? "Um, I'm Kitsra." She said. "Who are you?" She would have given a bow, but this just didn't seem like the time. Even if this wasn't didn't have the aura of a creature.

Muna lowered her gun with a small smile and a sigh. "Jeez, it's just a kid," she said under her breath. She put her gun back on her belt and looked at the girl. "I'm Muna. What're you doin out here kid? You almost made me shoot you."

I looked at the woman who said her name was Muna. I wasn't sure if I should tell her about why I was out her, but what harm could it possibly do. Though Mom had always said I should keep my job to myself. I shrugged and dropped my guns down to my side and put them back in their slots. "Um, I was just looking for something," I say with an innocent smile. I knew lying was wrong but wouldn't Miyo do the same in this situation. "Why do you have a gun," I asked.

Muna raised an eyebrow at the kid as she said she was looking for something. It didn't seem to fit that the girl'd be so tensed up just looking for something, but what did she care. "Hm? Oh, well.." Muna looked at the gun that hung from her belt and shrugged. "It helps to have one with the job I have, that's all." Yeah, more like it's a necessity, she thought. "A better question is why do you have two guns?" In all honesty, Muna had another gun hanging on her other side, but she rarely ever took out more than one at a time.

I knew it was going to happen. I should have thought of a better answer, but what did it matter anyway. I mean, I had asked it and she'd countered back. Bot did this remind me of Chess. "Well, I have two guns because it's just the type of tool I use in battle," I say feeling as though it was partially true.

Muna shrugged. "Fair enough, I guess." She looked the girl over once. She was pretty young. About the same age that Muna was when she was kicked out of Taranra's place. "So," she said looking at Kitsra again. "What exactly was it you were looking for?" Muna was starting to get a little suspicious...she already had an idea of what this girl was, but she'd ask in a moment, depending on this answer.

I looked at Muna and then sighed. She just wouldn't let up on the stupid subject. This woman was really messing up my search. There was no reason to lie anymore, but seriously this was not helping my cause. "Well you see," I say. "I'm looking for a dog. He's really big and I thought it'd be easy to spot him from here," I say.

"Hmm," she said with a smile and a small laugh. "Would this dog, be a...oh I don't know, wolf of some sort? Or perhaps a hybrid?" She gave a sly grin as she looked at Kitsra. She had this girl all figured out. Or at least, so she let off.

I froze with fear. There was no way this woman was one of us. How could that be. She would have atleast know that this woman was in the Valleys if the higher council knew. Or did they not know at all. I was so fearful for a moment that I almost pulled my gun. Stop, I told myself. Think rational. I realized I was taking a long time to answer. "So what if it is," I spoke quietly.

Muna laughed. "Calm down girl, I'm not your enemy. So what, you're a hunter. Doesn't make you much different from me," she said with a sly smile and a wink. "So, lemme guess, you were out here lookin for unnaturals, right?" Unnaturals, that's what Taranra taught her to call them. She never really got out of the habit.

I looked at the woman and nodded slightly. "Um, I'm sorry," I said. "I guess I did over react. I'm not used to meeting unclassified hunters," I said with a small shrug. "Anyway I was looking for the supernatural." I looked around. "I was told to come here. There's one who usually lurks around these parts," I say as I jump back into the tree. "How long you been hunting them," she asked.

Muna looked at Kitsra. "Unclassified? So there's an actual group of hunters around these parts, huh? Where I come from, most hunters are loners, they just travel around, doin their own thing, but then again..." Muna gave a small wave of her hand and smiled. "Oh listen to me rambling on. I've been hunting them for..." Muna looked up in thought, counting silently. "About twelve years," she said with a smile. "And how bout you? You don't look much older than twelve years old yourself."

"Well I guess it varies depending on where you come from," I say to her. "Anyway, I've been hunting since I was about eight," I say. "And I'm thirteen." Looking to the side I look for any sign of that wolf that I was suppose to kill. Maybe I had missed him while talking to Muna. That would be disappointing to Myo and my family. I can't disgrace them. Looking at Muna I ask, "Why are you out here?"

Muna looked at her. "Oh, it looks like we started at the same age then," she said with a smile. She was actually pretty glad that this girl hadn't recognized her as an assassin. She supposed being soemone who went around killing unnaturals and humans alike would be something of a disgrace to hunters. She'd noticed Kitsra looking around. "Just scouting out the area, that's all." She gave a soft smile. "Don't worry, we'd probably hear it if it came by. Things like that don't miss chances to attack people."

I nodded at her comment bout hearing the beast pass by. "Do you find it neccisary to kill the unnatural," I ask her. I'd gotten back many comments on this question, but i wasn't sure how Muna would answer.

Muna looked at the girl when she asked her question, and without a moments hesitation answered "Absolutely. They have no right living beside humans as they do." Pausing a moment, Muna looked around. "You hear that," she asked in a quiet voice.

Roan had just finished with his final shoot of the the day. He knew it was late but Amy had wanted some night shots before calling it a quites. Holding his jack in his hand he walked through the open towards the Storm Valley. By the time he was half way across he figured it'd be a good idea to stretch his legs. Putting his jacket back on he turned into silver wolf with yellow eyes and sharp yellow fangs. Keeping close to the shadows he ran with a smoothness. He enjoyed the fresh open air of the night. His paws glided until he picked up the scent of lead. Stopping he shifted back and walked through the bushes to see a girl and a woman. An akward place to be at night. "Hello," he said with strict politness.

I looked at Muna as she said she'd heard something. I did as well. I looked to my hand on my gun as a man came through the bushes. He was young, maybe in his early twenties. I looked at him for a second then pulled my gun and stood up in the tree. "He's one of them," I said to Muna. This man had the aura. I clicked the safety off. "Scum such as you don't deserve to live. I'll rid this world of your kind!" I pulled the trigger hoping to hit him in the chest.

Roan looked at the youngest girl as she pulled a gun on him. He couldn't catch on to what was happening until she told the woman that he was one of them. Did that mean she knew he was a... He didn't have time to finish the sentence because before long he heard her pull the trigger. Quickly he moved but the bullet grazed his shoulder. Roan dropped to the ground on one knee and held his arm. The wound didn't heal like it should have and he realized that his arm was burning with intense pain. Silver. Roan swallowed. He'd just run into hunters, and one was very skilled at finding what he was. Roan sighed and gave a low growl. He'd never been in a situation such as this and two against one was out of his league since there was a good chance both carried silver. Roan shifted into his wolf stage and bared white fangs. He didn't want to hurt a child but it was kill or be killed at this point in time. Lowering hismelf to the ground he launched at the girl and snapped at the hand with the gun in it. He'd worry about the woman when she got involved.

Muna looked as she saw a man walk out. He seemed to be the same age as her, and was no doubt an unnatural. She watched as Kitsra pulled out her gun and shot at the man. Both Kitsra and the man were fast. Then she saw the man change into a wolf and leap at Kitsra. Without hesitation, Muna aimed a roundhouse kick at the wolf's side as it leapt at Kitsra.

Roan fell onto his side as the woman kicked him. He rolled across the ground and stopped near a small bush. His ears drooped as he stood up and shook his fur out. He couldn't take them both and his shoulder still burned from the intensity of the silver. Taking a breath he backed away slowly. He didn't get why they were trying to kill him in the first place. He'd just been on a run when the younger girl tried to shoot him.
