Shana lay on the bed asleep with her sword next to her bed on it's side. It was around 10:00am and she still wasn't awake. She had been dreaming about melon bread talking to her. Right as she was about to eat a piece, a knock on the door woke her up. She gave a growl. "Let me sleep...!" she mumbled pulling the pillow over her head.
"Shana... get up, you have work to do"
"Shut up Rayx, I hate work!" Shana said with another growl.
"Shana, your Kage now, you have to do things, for once." Rayx said.
"Maybe you should have some respect for me now..."
"God, ok fine, just get up, you need an assistant."
"grr...." Shana growled again and threw her pillow at the door.
"Ok, i'm going!"
"Finally!" Shana said getting up put of her bed. She walked to her sink and splashed some water on her face. She grabbed a tang-top and quickly got dressed. She grabbed her sword and put it to her belt. She made her bed and walked out her door. "I'm out!" she said walking out the door. "I need an assistant... well, there's Blair, but she's only 11... Gabriel's 16... maybe him... Then again there's Rumiko... that guy is older then me... he might work well..." she kept going on before she came to a park. She sat at a bench and sighed. She heard someone coming. rumiko? she thought looking up

Rumiko walked up with his hands behind his head. He was sort of just taking a lesusirely walk when he spotted Shana. "Hey," he said as he stopped. "Congrats on Kage," he said. She'd replaced Ester after the engertic ninja had stepped down. It was a shame to see her go, but maybe Shana could bring the Magma up once more. He wanted to ask her shouldn't she be at work, but he decided against it. "Why are you out here," he asked.

Shana gave a smile as she realized she was right. "Oh, thanks" she said. "I'm looking for an assistant, if you were given a chose, would you step up on it? i was thinking about making you it, but i'm still thinking..." she sighed and pushed her hair behind her ears. "It's hard to choose" she said after a while

Rumiko looked at her as she said she was looking for an assistant and was thinking of making him the assistant. Wouls she really chose someone who she didn't know all that well? He gave a shrug and then tilted his head. "It's gonna be hard when you're knew at something," he said kindly. "It takes time to get used to these things. I'd be glad to be your Assistant, but are sure you want as the personal who will succeed you when your time passes?" He asked. His eyes were blank.

Shana sighed. "Well, your a good person, and Ester picked me even when i wasn't from this village. She trusted me, and i trust you." her eyes sparkled with annoyance. "And to make things worse, people still treat me the way they used to, no more respect for their new kage, just open insults and threats. They won't get over the fact I'm from somewhere else..." she sighed. "You aren't like that..."

Rumiko sighed. Had this girl even check his back ground info. What'd he'd done in the past? He smiled. She had a lot to learn, she'd need him. He then looked at her. "My neice went through the same thing when she became Kage. She's younger than you, so she was threatened and unwanted as well. To make matter worse she is a Lightning Ninja." He said, He wondered if Shana had heard of the cursive village that had tried to destroy the valleys. "Anyway, I'm originally from the Mist and in the Valleys I'm from the Stealth," he said. "I don't mind people who are not from here, everyone deserves a chance, so do you." He smiled. "Besides, you still have to earn your respect and I'll help as much as I can along the way," he said. "Are you up for this, Shana?"

Shana smiled "I'm ready for whatever the magma hits against me. Lets just hope that one guy, roxl, approves of me" She had heard of roxl and his passing but never paid much attention to it. She knew this was his village though, or so they say. "We could learn from each other, find things out better, we might even know more about villages than the others. One quiestion to you, Are you up for it?"

Rumiko smiled as she replied. It was good to hear that she was ready because she had a long journey ahead of her. He grinned. He felt like a sensei all over again. "Yeah," he said. "I'm ready for it." He looked towards the village. Him and Shana were ready, but would the village be able to face the decision they'd just made. Either way, they'd have to deal with it.

Shana nodded. "Your in." She said looking the same way he was. It was going to be hard and tough trying to get the villages respect. They'd have to learn to like the decisions and live with them. (like my teacher says: "Learn it, live it, love it") "Know, village, give me all you've got, because 'I won't give up, So don't try.'" she gave a smile.

Annie walked down the path to her house only to stop when she saw her Kage adn Rumiko. Hurrying over to them she waved. "Hello," she said with a smile. She'd gotten taller and was no longer the baby she used to be.

"hello Annie" Shana said as the girl got to them. "How are you?" she asked with a smile. "Rumiko's my assistant now." she said giving a stretch. "If only i could sleep in longer." she mumbled while she yawned

Rumiko smiled at the sight of Annie. It was good to see her after such a long time. "Haven't you grown," he said with a s smile as he rubbed her head. "How've you been all this while." He then looked to Shana. "How about I take the two of you out for lunch?"

Shana gave a happy smile "I'd love to" she said giving a yawn. "Where to?" she asked, "I want some noodles..." she said spacing out a bit. She really couldn't tell if any one said anything because when she spaces out, she spaces out.

Rumiko looked at Annie and Shana. "Well I guess we can head to the Ramen Shop," he said. "I haven't had a good cup of Ramen in a while." He looked at Annie. "What do you say kiddo," you up for it," he asked. "Or does your sensei claim that you can't have ramen, a ninja must eat healthy." He teased. "If you like I'll buy you a brusell sprout." He grinned at her and gave a motion with his hand for them to follow.

Annie smiled and jumped on Rumiko's back. "I can eat whatever I like," she said with a grin before jumping onto the ground and walking beside him and Shana. This was fun to hang with the two most important people in the village.

Rumiko smiled and led them into a resteruant. He then pulled out their chairs for them and sat in his own. "Ah, Ramen smells good," he said as he picked up some chopsticks. "You guys order what you wnat. Everything's on me," he said as he looked at the menu. "Seafood," he said quietly. He hadn't eaten anything close to seafood in a long time. Almost as long as since he'd left the Mist Village.

Shana absently followed Rumiko. When the got there she said down and thought for a moment. "Hard choice... Seafood ramen." she decided after a while. She had missed the yummy seafood ramen she would always get at her old village. Memories flooded over her and she tensed.

Annie smiled and walked in and sat down. She looked at the menu and grinned as both Rumiko and Shana agreed on seafood. "I'm gonna be different and get Ramen, with pork flavoring," she said with a grin. She then got her own chopsticks and clicked them together. "Thanks Rumiko!"
