Deidara had a devilish grin on his face as he walked up to the Battle Grounds. He'd take down some of the village's forces before the real battle began. Even though his own forces were thin he had a some faith in the ones he had avaliable. Grinning he gave a small laugh. "Alright Akatsuki, let's stop here for and rest up a bit. We'll let those Shinobi dogs come to us," he said as he sat on a rock. His eyes scanned the surrounding area. He wouldn't set off the bombs today because he wanted to wait until the real battle. He looked back to the Akatsuki. "This will be interesting, don't you think."

Kono followed silently behind Deidara. This was the second akatsuki war she'd live through. Well, this was only the beginning fight of the war. But regardless, she planned on living through it. Only this time, she was with the akatsuki. So many thing's had changed since the first war. It shocked her to see that Jaymaru was now on their side as well. Kono nodded as Deidara stopped and said they'd rest there. With a sigh, she sat down heavily. She couldn't help but give a small grin at how eager Deidara seemed. It was kinda funny actually. "Interesting?" She gave a small laugh. "Sure will be." It was rare that she ever talked when she was around the akatsuki, but most of the time when she did it was with some kind of uninterested or bored tone. Nothing like now, anyways.

Eve gave a small evil grin as she followed Kono and Deidara. She had wanted to take the back because she enjoyed getting the surprise attackers a lesson before the others. She used her scepter as a walking stick but without leaning on it. Daya had got on her nerves the other day, so she hit him in the crotch with it. No hard feelings to him. When Deidara said they were to rest there she sighed. She walked past Kono and sat in the grass next to her leader. When he was gone, she was always fighting for leadership. She knew she might make a good leader someday, if only they would listen to her for once. She was harsh, like Deidara, not always cruel, and a leader, not a follower, unless they went on missions... That was an exception.

Deidara looked at the two girls. Konan had been the only one who had spoken, Eve on the other hand had sat near him. "If the Death, Storm, and Magma Valley's don't show then there may be something wrong," he said. "I'd planned it so that they could relay the message at the same time." He stood up. "I'm going to look further ahead," he said. "One of you stay here. The other come with me." He then started off.
