Kazuya walked along the edge of a river, kicking rocks every now and then. He made sure that he'd picked a spot pretty surrounded by trees. He didn't want the hunters to find him. Cautiously he looked around. He could never get a moments rest, and was always on his guard. He gave a little laugh as he saw a fish jump out of the water then back in. It was midday, warm and bright out. It was the kind of day a person could enjoy. As long as that person wasn't Kazuya Auren. Kazuya jumped as he heard a branch snap not too far off, then heard light footsteps. Kazuya's face turned slightly scared and he ran behind a tree to avoid being seen.

Kymir walked through the open with his hands in his pockets and his headphones on. Kicking a can every now and then he ended up going in the woods before he knew it. "Oh well," he said not really caring. Stopping to look around he kicked the can at a tree when he saw movement. At first he though he'd startled some wild animal, but then he realized it was a person. "I hate cowards," he said loud enough for whoever who had run behind the tree.

The fear disappeared from Kazuya's face as he heard the person speak. No wonder the footsteps were so light....the person sounded like a little kid! Kazuya sighed and walked out from behind the tree, looking at the kid with a light glare. "I'm not a coward, I just thought you were someone else!" he yelled stubbornly and kinda angrily. "Anyways," he said, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking off to the side. "Who're you?" (eerie similarities, right?)

Kymir looked at the boy who stepped from behind the tree with a glare. "Hmph, even so it was a stupid idea to hide behind a tree." He said and looked the kid over. He was older, but Kymir could care less. He could kick this guys butt any day. "Why should I tell you who I am," he said in a snappy voice. "

Kazuya glared at the kid as he pretty much mocked him. Kazuya gave a small irritated growl as the kid asked why he should tell Kazuya his name. "Fine, whatever. It's not like I care who you are anyways," he snapped right back. Turning his back on the kid, Kazuya picked up a rock and threw it into the river. "Now why don't you get lost!" Kazuya snapped over his shoulder. He could care less if he made friends or not. The more people he knew, the more people that knew where he was.

Kymir wasn't about to take this kid snapping at him like he knew him or something. And he sure as hell was not about to take being growled at. Stepping forward Kymir picked up a rock and tossed it up and down. "I don't have to go anywhere, last time I checked this was a public place," he said. "If you didn't want anyone bothering you, you should have went somewhere a bit more private," he growled.

Kazuya picked up another rock, his back still facing Kymir, as the kid pretty much challenged him. Holding the rock tightly in his hand, Kazuya turned quickly and whipped the rock in the kid's direction. He could care less if the kid was younger than him, he wasn't going to let some little brat challenge him like that and get away with it. "I said get lost!" Kazuya growled at him, his eyes turning yellow. As a child, Kazuya had always been more in tuned with his vampire side than his wolf side.

Kymir frowned as Kazuya threw the rock at him. Throwing his own rock at Kazuya's he saw them cancel out, but his own had split in two. So this kid thought he was something. Kymir would show him just how dangerous he was. "And I said find somewhere more private," Kymir growled back as he ran at the kid and jumped at him, ready to slug him in the cheek.

Kazuya glared at the kid as he threw his rock at Kazuya's, then moved to attack Kazuya. He's pretty fast, he thought incredulously, moving to the side to avoid Kymir's punch, while at the same time swiping his hand at Kymir to try to cut him with his claws (which'd just began coming out). Why won't this kid leave me alone! he thought angrily. But he wasn't going to ask, because now he was in fighting mode. Barely anything could stop his trail of thought now.

Kymir growled when Kazuya dodge his punch. So the kid had speed, big deal. As he claws swept across his chest he flipped over. The front of his shirt was torn now. Was this kid a wolf? Kymir landed on a small boulder. "So you can fight," he said. "This won't be so boring after all." Kymir pulled a kunai and threw it at Kazuya. He then ran to a tree and jumped off it so he could prepel himself into the air above Kazuya. Take this, he thought.Kymir launched himself downwards on Kazuya, ready to kick him in mid-air.

"Of course I can fight," Kazuya mumbled under his breath. He then let out a low, menacing growl as Kymir said that this fight wouldn't be boring. "So lemme get this straight, you're only picking a fight with me because you think it'd be fun?!" he said angrily before dodging the kunai, but getting hit by Kymir's kick, which sent him tumbling across the ground a little before he caught himself. Getting up slowly, Kazuya glared at Kymir. He'd show this kid how fun it was when someone angered him. Running at Kymir, Kazuya launched a swift kick at his side, following it with a punch to the face.

Kymir grinned. "Of course I'm not fighting you because I think it's fun," he said as he felt Kazuya kick him. Kymir started to go over when he saw Kazuya trying to punch him. Kymir dropped to the ground and stood on his hand and kicked into the air so he could hit Kazuya. "I'n fighting you because I hate people like you."

Kazuya felt his kick make contact, but his punch didn't and before he knew it, Kymir'd landed another kick. Kazuya paused a moment as the kid said that he hated people like Kazuya, but then his angry expression returned. "What the hell do you mean by 'people like me'?!" Kazuya said angrily, not bothering to make a move. If the kid wanted to fight him so bad, he could come after Kazuya.

Kymir stood up and looked at Kazuya. "When I say people like you I mean people who run from their problems," he said mildly. "You said you weren't a coward, but you were hiding because you thought I was someone else. I ahte cowards," Kymir said.

Kazuya's hands clenched into fists at Kymir's words. "You have no right to call me a coward! You don't even know me, or what I'm hiding from! You'd be hiding too if you were in my position!!" Kazuya yelled, trying not to sound like he was whining. Kazuya truly believed that anyone put in his position would run, even if it wasn't necessarily true. Kazuya's anger started to subside slightly as he looked off to the side. He turned around and started walking away. "You should stay away from me before they find you with me and kill you too," he said calmly, his eyes turning back to black as he walked. He just wanted to be left alone...

Kymir mocked Kazuya as he whinned like a baby. "Listen, I don't know who 'they' are so I wouldn't know," he said. "And I'm not scared of anyone." Kymir narrowed his eyes as Kazuya told him that he'd be killed too. Kymir started after Kazuya, just sort of tagging along from a distance. "Who wants to kill you?" He asked in a careless tone. It was filled with sarcasim. As if telling Kazuya that he didn't think he was word killing.

Kazuya looked down as he walked as the kid mocked him again. He was relatively calm now, so he didn't bother yelling back when the kid decided to follow him. If he wanted to get killed, that was his own problem. Without looking at Kymir, Kazuya answered his second question with blatent disregard for how it sounded. "My mom, my dad, the hunters, anyone who dislikes the supernatural....The ones who don't like the supernatural would be glad to have me dead since I'm the only of my kind," he said, his voice almost emotionless. He abruptly stopped walking and turned to look at Kymir. "Why're you following me? You told me to find a more private spot and I'm trying, but you're not making it very easy."

Kymir stopped as Kazuya said his parents wanted to kill him. Kymir didn't say anything for a long time, not until Kazuya had asked him why he was following him. "I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't know." Kymir rarely apologized, but he felt it was needed her, because he could somewhat relate. He didn't know his parents, but he knew his mom wanted him dead. Kymir shrugged. "I just wanted to know what you were running frrom is all," he said. Kymir then bit his lip slightly. "And, you're not the only one of your kind," he said as he started to turn around. "I'll leave you alone now."

Kazuya looked at Kymir as he stopped walking. Most people had the same reaction when they found out who was trying to kill him. Kazuya's eyes widened as Kymir said that he wasn't the onyl of his kind. He ran up to Kymir. "W-what do you mean I'm not the only one? Kaz created another one?" he asked incredulously. And he kind of wondered how this kid knew what he was anyways. Was the kid saying that he was one too? Kazuya's mind started swimming rapidly with confusion.

Kymir was equally cofnused when Kazuya ran up to him and started talking about being made and some guy named Kaz. "What are you talking about," Kymir asked as he stepped back. "Who is this Kaz guy you're talking about," he asked. Kymir wasn't really sure he wanted to know the answer but he'd asked so it was too late to turn back now.

Kazuya looked at the kid as he took a step back and asked who Kaz was. Obviously KAz hadn't created another one. "Kaz is the man who created me. He created me as a mix between a vampire and a wolf and...when you said that I wasn't the only one, I thought you'd meant he'd created another one..." he said, lowering his gaze. "But that's not what you meant, is it?" He had to admit, he was kind of let down by that. Bt he was kinda glad at the same time. No one should have to live like Kazuya did.

Kymir looked at Kazuya feeling kind of bad. "No it wasn't what I meant," he said shoving his hands in his pocket. "But you're not the only one of your kind. You're a hybrid," he said. "A cross between a wolf and a vampire." Kymir sighed. "You don't have to be created to be a Hybird, some of us are born that way," he said.

Kazuya looked at Kymir with a confused expression. "A hybrid? So that's what I'm called? And...there's more?" he asked, his eyes lighting up at the concept. He just then realized that the kid'd said some of us. "Then... are you a hybrid too?"

Kymir nodded. "Yes, that what you're called." He said. "That's what we're called," he said confirming Kazuya's last question. "And yes there is more." Kymir counted in his head. Kazuya (the older one of course), Kai, Jerimiah, and Roan. "I only know of four others," he said. "It's rare to mortal enemies cross, so we're a small bunch," he said.

Kazuya's eyes brightened even more as the kid said that there were more hybrids than just the two of them. "So....am I the only one with hunters after me?" he asked curiously. He
would be happy if that was the case. He'd been specifically targeted to be killed. Then he remembered that he still didn't know the kid's name. But was the kid still against telling it to him?
