Pheonix was getting ready to leave for the Death. Light shinned through his window and his door was just barely ajar. Closing his bag he sat down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. Since the day he'd become an Akatsuki he'd regretted nothing, but he missed so much. The people of the Magma, his friends, he had no family, Surikima his younger brother had died during a war with the Waterfall. Pheonix rolled onto his side, his back turned towards the door. As Akatsuki we make a decision to take part in a group that wants nothin but chaos in the Vallies. Some of us regret the decision, some of us don't, but what do we miss. We can't all live here without missing something, can we? He rolled onto his back. "Wouldn't that make us...inhuman."

Krissy was already ready for watching over the Death Valley. She kinda wished she'd been there at the takeover though. Oh well, she couldn't have everything her way. She didn't remember the last time she had stayed in a valley for more than a few days. She sighed. This might have actually turned out to be one of the tougher assignments for her. She walked over to Pheonix's door and knocked on it. "Hey Phe, you ready to go or what? We're gonna be leaving pretty soon," she said. She didn't sound mean like normal, but she always tried to make it so that she never sounded too friendly. She hated weaklings, and hated sounding weak. And in her opinion, nice was weak. In all honesty, the one thing that she would've missed from her old life was her older brother, and since he'd died, she had found nothing else to miss.

Pheonix sat up when he heard Krystalia. "Yeah, I'm ready," he said got up. Snapping his fingers his hat appeared in his hand and he neatly placed it on his head. Opening the door he looked down at Krissy. He wondered if she missed anything from her past life, and more so why she'd joined the Akatsuki. "Let's go." Pheonix sighed. He wasn't going to strike up a conversation with her as he'd done Halo. The two of them were complete opposites.

Krissy looked up at Pheonix as he opened the door and started walking towards the exit of the hideout after grabbing a bag she'd had on the couch. "I can't believe we have to stay in that run-down village," she said, sounding almost disgusted. She hadn't been in a valley since the attack on the Snow, and wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of having to stay in one of the vallies to guard it. She sighed. "Oh well, orders are orders," she said.
