Micah stood on the balcony. He'd called for all the ninja of the Snow, both young and old to meet in the front of the building. Today they'd be preparing for war with the Stealth. He looked at the gathering ninja. "Snow Ninja!" He called for silence. "Listen up. I'm sure many of you have heard already of the rumor that we will be going to war with the Stealth. I will tell you that this is true. Every ninja we can spare will be going with me to the war in three days time." He looked around for protest.

Kaylee stood looking around at the gathering of Snow Ninja, talking with her brother Ryuki until they were silenced by the Kage standing on the balcony. Her eyes widened as her Kage announced that they really would be going to war with the Stealth. "But we just got out of war," she said, looking up at Ryuki, unsure if her Kage could hear her. It hadn't really meant to be heard, especially not over the wave of whispers that crossed through the younger ninja who didn't know any better. Some of them were psyched about being able to go fight other ninja, not caring that it was from a neighboring village, while others were concerned about going into war again so soon, just like Kaylee. And then there were the genin who seemed scared out of their wits because they'd never done any real fighting before.

Kai's mouth dropped. How could he be doing this! This was...this was madness! Insane! Going to war! Kai shook her head. Her tears starting to water her eyes. "But why!?" She called out. Her voice didn't exactly reach out. She sighed and looked around. She needed to get closer. She pushed between the older adults. "Excuse me, please me."

Kraven was standing in the fornt of the crowd as the Snow Kage annouced that they were going to war. "This is idiotic," he said under his breath. The Akatsuki were on the rise and they were fighting a village that they should be allying with. Kraven was overall upset with himself. He'd chosen Micah as Kage after he'd retired. He hadn't regretted his decision up until now. "Micah!" Kraven called above the crowd. "Are you just that power stricken that you would lead your entire village into an unnecessary battle? How many lives will be lost for the sake of power. The Akatsuki are on the move again, your focus should be against them, not the Stealth!"

Sukai wasn't a snow ninja, but he'd so happened to be in the village at the time. He'd actually stopped by yesterday and stayed overnight. With all the commotion going on he couldn't sleep. Leaving the hotel he was shocked to see what was happening. War on the Stealth? What had he missed? He looked around for someone to fill him in. War on the Stealth. On his home. Where his sister was. He had to warn them!

Micah wasn't surprised that these people who were not in position could not understand. "Be quiet," he told them all. "Do not doubt me! I am you Kage! Kraven your days as Kage are over. Let me lead. Things have changed, do you not agree?" He looked down at the vampire king. He would not stand for this man to challenge him. Not infront of the whole village. Micah settled down and looked over the people before him. "This is not an unnecessary battle. Without a treaty the Stealth have the power to attack us. Is it not better for us to strike first?" Micah was trying to make a point. This was worse than trying to persuade Takashi.

Kaylee's expression saddened as Micah called for silence once more, then made his explanation, even though it was obvious that many of the villagers were against this. Seeing Kai, Kaylee pushed her way past Ryuki and started towards the younger ninja, calling out to the kage as best as she could. "Do you really think that the Stealth would attack us?" she said, her eyes filled with worry. She didn't know anyone from the Stealth, and she knew that most people would look at her as a naive little girl, but the Villages had been at peace for ages, save the occasional attack from the Akatsuki. She didn't think that the Stealth would attack them. "Hey Kai, wait up!" she said, pushing through the crowd towards her little friend. He's right you know. That village may attack our own, we don't know that, TK tried to reason with her for the first time since her B-ranked mission several months earlier.

Kai was in tears by this point. How could this be happening? She didn't want to fight! She didn't want to be a ninja anymore. She stopped as she heard someone calling her name. Kaylee. "This isn't right. The Stealth wouldn't attack us, I just know it." She looked at all the people. Most were disagreeing, but others were nothing their heads. What was wrong with these people? She looked at Kaylee. "We have to stop this."

By this point, Ryuki had been looking around for Kaylee, but she had already disappeared into the crowd. Coming up to Kai, Kaylee gave the younger girl a slightly sad look as she saw that Kai was in tears. She gave the younger girl a small hug, then pulled back. "What do you think we should do? The older ninja won't listen to us..." she told Kai almost sadly. She was trying to think of things they could do. Having the younger ninja protest wouldn't do much, because the younger ninja couldn't really do much for the war anyways. What could they do?

He had some of them agreeing with him at least. That was enough. "Listen up, we attack tomorrow two hours after the sun has fallen behind the clouds. Everyone will attend, and if there is anyone who disagrees with this, feel free to consult me." He looked down into the crowd. "You all are dismissed."
