Family History: Ivan's family history has many holes in it. No one knows who his mother is, but his father was said to have killed her. No one knows if this is true or not because shortly after the death of his mother, his father went missing. No outside family showed up to the funeral. That left Ivan the only one to show up, as well as a few members of the village.

Character History: Born in his father's home, but raised by his next door neighbor Ivan never knew his mother, and barely his father. As a child, Ivan often focused on being a good ninja. Look down upon due to the rumors of his father's unlikely deeds, the boy grew bitter towards the people around him. The older he got, the less time he spent around the village. He'd taken a liking to the spending his time in the battle grounds, recapping on the previous wars.

Personality: Ivan's a bit shady. He often is found wandering the battle grounds or training alone. When he's around people, he keeps to minimum association. Though when spoken to, he seems to be hiding something. His speech patterns often indicate that this is true. He manages to keep a smile on all the time, but catch him on a bad day, he's bound to do something he would later regret, maybe.

The Battle Grounds. It was his favorite place to be. Most people didn't come out here. They were scared of memories long since passed. Scared of the grief. But not he, Ivan loved the thought of war. He liked the idea of fighting to protect his home. He loved the idea of weakening another village with defeat. It was by the far the best thing about being a ninja. He sighed very much pleased with this idea and pulled out a pencil and paper and began to record all the names of people who'd attended the most recent war. "So many names, so many deaths, only one victory." He nodded his head side to side. "What more could one ask for?"
