Bat was grinning like a mad man as he sat on one of the many couches. He was in such a good mood. Bat always seemed to be in a good mood when he'd preformed some sort of mischief. Today however was a different story. He was just in a good mood. It was possible that he was in such a mood due to the fact that Kazuya was finally an adult again and they could fight a real battle. Or it may have been the fact that Halo seemed to have embraced her darker side. Or maybe it was because he was psychotic. Who knew.

Xantrex walked into the main room looking rather less than pleased. Things certainly had not gone as planned. He'd left to go on an espionage mission for over a year, with all of the plans in place to take over the Magma. Hell, there had even been an attack right before the Akatsuki moved in! What had gone wrong?! He'd set it up perfectly, there was no reason why things should have gone as badly as they had! And now he was back to find that brat Krystalia had taken over his place as third in command. It would take him a long, long time to get back on Deidara's good side. It was time to think of something big. Something extreme, something that would ensure the Akatsuki their victory once and for all.

But first...food. He went straight into the kitchen and made himself a sandwich before sitting heavily onto one of the couches, and noticing Bat. "Hey kid. What's with the psychotic grin? Just get done with a massacre?" Yeah, his sarcastic side was back. He'd been having to play up the life of such a boring ANBU ninja from the Magma, he'd never really had the time to screw around.

Jaymaru left her room and went down the hall to the Main Room only to see Bat and Xantrex there. "Hi," she greeted them. She followed up with a small wave and then went into the kitchen. Seeing Xan with that sandwich made her remember why she was here. She too was a tad bit hungry. She kept a small fridge in her room filled with snacks, but it didn't have the items to make a salad. A salad filled with cheese and ham and tomatoes. She loved tomatoes.

"Ohhhh, hello Xantrex. I've murdered no one...as of today. I'm just basking in success," he clarified. "I've been without a decent battle for ages due to your little jutsu that cause Kazuya to shrink into a mere child, but now he'd an adult and our rivalry can continue." Bat gave a low chuckle. "It's brilliant. Right when I'd started to become bored." He looked to Jaymaru as she greeted them. "Must you all always eat when you come this way?" He asked.

"Hey," was Xantrex's curt reply to Jaymaru as she walked in. He turned his attention back to Bat as he said that he was just basking in success. Clearly he was not referring to the success of the Akatsuki. Or lack thereof. He couldn't help but smirk as the jutsu he'd placed on the Kage of the Death was brought up. In Xan's mind, that had helped them win the last war, but of course, it was nothing compared to the help their enemy had given. He glanced at Jay, then back to Bat as he went to take another bite of his sandwich. However, he stopped and lowered the sandwich, a frown on his face, when Bat mentioned that Kazuya was no longer a child. He didn't look pleased to hear the news. "He's what now?....When did this happen?" Noooo nononono. Nuh-uh. That couldn't be true. If it was, whatever happened to nullify his jutsu might have been the very reason that the Akatsuki lost it's grip on the Death. Which meant...he now had both the loss of the Death and of the Magma on his hands. But...hell, who else knew that it was him who had turned Kazuya into a child? Obviously Jaymaru now knew, but had Xantrex gone and told Deidara when it had first happened? He didn't remember if he had. And if he had told Deidara...suddenly Xantrex's appetite disappeared completely.

Krissy had been standing silently in the doorway after Jaymaru had come in, so she heard what Bat had said about Kazuya, and there was a frown on her face at the memory. And then Xantrex spoke up, asking when it had happened. He didn't look happy about what had happened, and for good cause. So Krissy decided to speak up and walk further into the room, taking a seat on an arm of one of the couches and clicking her tongue. "When? Hmph, why right in the middle of the Rebellion of course," she said in irritation. "You know what, screw the when, I wanna know why? Why the hell did your jutsu choose that very time to decide to break? Huh? Call it coincidence if you like, but that was a very, very good time for the Death to get their leader back, dontcha think?" Oh yeah, of course she was pissed. She hadn't been aware that it had been Xantrex's jutsu until now, and now that she knew, she was even more suspicious. He just came back from being a 'spy', and ended up losing the Magma even after it had gotten out of a rough battle! You could understand why Xantrex wasn't very high up on her list of people she could trust.

Bat started to chuckle even more than before. "Looks like she think you had something to do with the loss in the Death." He grinned at Xantrex. "Is she right? You're acting surprised, but I'm sure that if you fooled the Magma then you're a pretty good actor, even if they are a bunch of half wits." He looked to Krissy. "You're third in command, you've got power, whatcha gonna do with it?" He asked. Seemed like Bat was trying to provoke a fight. Krissy vs. Xantrex. Now that would be an interesting match up.

Xantrex looked at Krystalia as she decided to cop an attitude, and tell him exactly when this had occurred. Right in the middle of the battle, huh? Clearly something must have happened to him then, the jutsu was meant to turn back time, so it had manipulated the Death Kage's chakra to do so, nothing more. Which meant something big must have happened to his chakra flow. Like stopping altogether. Xantrex froze. He'd overlooked that. If someone had killed Kazuya while he was a child, the worst it would have done to him was to stop his chakra flow and turn him back into an adult.

...He'd have to fix that jutsu. But first, he had to fix Krissy.

Lowering his sandwich so that it rested in his hands on his lap, he sat back against the couch and gave Krissy a blank look with a slightly raised eyebrow. "You done kid?" He didn't let her respond. "Good then shut up and listen." He sat forward with his eyes intent on her, ignoring that Bat was trying to start a fight. Because Xantrex was about to put this little brat in her place. "You may think you know what's going on here, but clearly you do not. You, are nothing more than a child. The only reason you are third in command is because Deidara trusts your loyalty to the Akatsuki. You have skill, sure, but not enough to back up your position when it really comes down to it. If strength had everything to do with being a higher up, Jaymaru would have been put third in command before you ever would have."

"Now then, yeah, it was a coincidence. Clearly I overlooked something when I was making that jutsu, something I'll have to fix before using it again. That being said, you can't blame others for your failures. You should have been prepared for anything, another testament to why strength and ability is not the main reason you've been placed in command." He stood up and cracked his neck casually. "I've been here a lot longer than you have, and I was third in command before you were. I take orders only from Deidara and Itachi, so you'd better learn that. If you wanna start a fight over something you know nothing about, be my guest. But you won't win," he said with a shrug, walking towards the kitchen to throw his sandwich away. He coulda been a lot harsher than he had been. And that's saying something. He had a lot more to say, but he wasn't gonna start a monologue. He'd done a hell of a lot more for the Akatsuki than she had, and a hell of a lot more for the Akatsuki than she knew.

Jaymaru blinked in surprise when Xantrex suddenly started to belittle Krissy as though she was the smallest speck of dust on the planet. Had she truly had the heart of an Akatsuki she would have found this as amusing as Bat had. Instead she listened to the words of the guy that had somewhat welcomed her into the Akatsuki as she fixed up her sandwich. She wasn't getting involved in this. It would only turn out badly.

Krissy could only grow angry the more Xantrex spoke. This guy...he was just asking for it. In the worst, way, possible. Did he seriously think that she was going to sit there and take that?! Didn't have the strength to hold up her position, the hell with that! She'd show him exactly why she was third in command! Sure, Krissy's temper was usually short, but today it had been unusually so. Her already bad mood coupled with the fact that she'd never really liked Xantrex anyways, it was no surprise that when he'd turned his back on her she'd got off the couch and threw a shuriken at him. "Just who the hell do you think you're talking to, you bastard!?"

(Then you're gonna love these next few parts, Ms Number One fan.)

The moment Xantrex dropped his sandwich into the trash, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his shoulder that caused a light gasp of pain to escape him. Narrowing his eyes, he looked over his shoulder to see a shuriken sticking out of it. It was in pretty deep, so he wasn't going to bother pulling it out at that very moment. However, now Krissy had kinda pissed off the mad scientist. On the bright side, for her at least, Xan didn't want to get anymore on Deidara's bad side than he already was, so he wouldn't be killing the girl. And beating the crap out of her would do nothing to teach her a lesson. So the next best thing was embarrassment. Too bad there wouldn't be more Akatsuki members around to see her utterly fail at trying to prove herself. Turning, Xantrex started towards Krissy only to make a swift move and kick her to the wall before pinning her there off the ground by her neck. "I believe I was talking to a small pink haired brat who doesn't know her place. I believe I was talking to a twelve year old child who clearly doesn't know when to shut up." Was he done? Nopes, not yet. Because this wasn't even the embarrassing part yet. He glanced towards the exit of the Akatsuki, a simple door, and they were not too far from it. Perfect.

Krissy was prepared to defend against a returning weapon, not a kick. So when he had kicked her and pinned her to the wall, she only glared at him angrily, trying fruitlessly to pull his hand from her neck. Okay, so he was strong, she'd give him that. She was still stronger. The moment he glanced away, Krissy blinked and her eyes were a deep shade of magenta before she turned into an 18 year old form of herself. The technique was called Riinsashi, and it was an eye trait that her family had stolen from a clan by the name of Tanaka. It allowed the user to change into a form of themselves that, even if they had not aged into that form yet, could be much stronger than their current form. It was one of Krissy's favorite techniques, because it was efficient. So since Xantrex had turned his attention away from her, even for a brief moment, Krissy had removed her hand from his and aimed a punch at his stomach, followed by her other hand aiming to delve a kunai into his side. She wasn't sure if she wanted to kill him or not just yet.

Xantrex's grip on Krissy failed and he doubled over when she punched him in the stomach. When did the little brat become so strong? Then he heard the slight whistle of a kunai sailing through the air and he moved back just in time for the kunai to miss his side, but it left a shallow cut along the front of his stomach. Okay, that was it. Xantrex backed up, assuming that Krissy would make another strike at him. When she did, Xantrex did three things. One, he quickly opened the door to the hideout. Two, he grabbed Krissy's arm and threw her right outside, despite the fact that she was in a larger form. And three, he slammed the door shut just as quickly as he'd opened it and leaned back against it, making sure the shuriken in his shoulder was not touching the door. He couldn't help but grin at what came next.

Krissy hadn't even seen it coming, so when he grabbed her arm, she went to counter, only to be pulled. The next thing she knew, she was outside and there was a loud slamming sound. What just happened? She turned her head to look, only to see that she was outside of the hideout. That had been too fast for her to even keep up. When she realized it though, there was a quick silence before her hands clenched into fists and she went to open the door angrily, only to find that it wouldn't open. Not that it was locked, it just wouldn't push forward. "Let me back in so I can kick your ass, you son of a bitch!!!!" She yelled loudly and angrily, pounding on the door. Her face was flushed red with embarrassment. He didn't even put up a fight, instead he decided to embarrass her and lock her out of the damn hideout!? Oh the hell with that!!

(lmfao! He locked her out.)

Bat watched with high interest as a fight broke out amongst the two. He wasn't sure who he should vote for, but he did see that Krissy was pissed off. It was only a matter of time before the fight changed from a fight to a ridiculously hilarious scene that made him stop grinning like a mad man and laugh like a small child who'd just witnessed a clown being bopped on the head in the circus. Xantrex had smoothly kicked Krissy out of the hideout and Bat could only imagine how she looked out there, banding on the door like a mad woman. "Oh, now this is good." He couldn't stop laughing. "Nice one Xan."

Jutsumaster was about to take a bite of her salad when Krissy and Xan broke into a fight, which started with Krystalia throwing a shuriken at Xan. She watched the fight unfold until Krissy was thrown out of the Akatsuki Hideout. The purple haired kunochi shook her head at Bat's laughter and Xantrex's grin. She took couldn't help but give a small smile. It was like something out of a tv show. Putting her salad back down she looked at Xan. "If you'd like, I'll take that shuriken out," she said. She left out the part where she'd fix it up a bit as well. You can't help but love being around them, she thought to herself. We're all family here, somewhat.

Xantrex's grin widened a bit at Bat's laughing and he couldn't help but to give a chuckle himself. Okay, so maybe Xan wasn't the most evil of Akatsuki, but he did have his moments. When Jaymaru offered her help with the shuriken, he looked at her for a moment, then chuckled again. "Yeah, no thanks, I can take care of it myself." If there was one thing more than the rest that was wrong with Xan, he was prideful to a fault. He couldn't allow himself to be helped by others, he simply couldn't stand the idea of it. There wasn't actually any background tragedies behind it, he just didn't like help. He'd also have to take care of that cut on his stomach later. It was stinging. When Krissy continued to yell and pound on the door, Xantrex brought one of his feet up and kicked back onto the door with a loud bang. "Can it kid, you asked for it," he called to her. He wondered how long it would take before she found a way back in and tried to kill him in his sleep. He wouldn't put it past her.

Jaymaru sighed. She wasn't going to bother arguing with Xantrex. Men and their pride. However, she could soup up what would happen if he didn't take care of it properly. "Just don't leave it in for too long, the wound will get infected and then you'll have problems moving that arm, if push comes to shove, you might end up threatening some poor village hospital to fix it. The healing process will take ages. Not to mention you'll need stitches, that thing looks pretty deep." Jaymaru shrugged. "And then there's possibility that you might just pull it out and a piece of the shuriken was keeping a vein or artery from rupturing. Or the wound can heal and the skin will attack to the shuriken and when you pull it out it'll rip away your skin, causing a mess all over the floor." Jaymaru gave a small smile. "But all of that is just what might happen, chances are you'll pull it out and be fine." She'd gone back to her salad and started to eat it.

Xantrex looked at Jaymaru as she told him not to leave it in there too long. And then she started naming off all the things that could go wrong if he took it out himself. All those things could just very well happen if she were to take it out as well. Xan could reverse the damage, assuming he didn't pass out from blood loss first, should it have actually ruptured a vein or artery. His method of 'healing' was a bit different than Jaymaru's though. A little more unorthodox. Like reversing time to heal the damage altogether. His eyes narrowed on her as he started to eat her salad. "What're you playing at?"

Jaymaru shrugged. "I'm not playing at anything," she said. "I'm just saying you should let me take it out before you go and screw yourself up. I do have experience in medical jutsu after all. I mean, if something does happen, the chances of you being able to stop the problem before permanent damage is slim to none. I on the other hand can stop the problem in a matter of seconds." She took another bite of her salad. "But it's your choice." She looked at Bat who's laughing had died down until he was chuckling lightly on the couch and then to Xantrex and the door he was blocking.

"Yes you are," Xan retorted when she said she wasn't playing at anything. He felt like a kid saying that, but it was the truth. He smirked at what she said next. "And that, is exactly what you were playing at," he stated matter-of-factly. Xantrex turned his head slightly to look at the door when he noticed that the banging had stopped. "Given up?" he called cooly. He frowned lightly when there was no answer. "Hm. Do what you want," he said with a light shrug. The answer was directed at Jay, though he didn't look at her. Instead he turned quietly from the door and took a peak out of the window. The brat was gone. This made Xan grin a bit. "Heh. Looks like she really has given up," he stated with a larger grin. Reaching over his shoulder with the hand opposite his wound, he felt over the shuriken lightly before taking his hand off it and plopping onto the couch. That damned brat. Embarrassment wasn't enough to pay for this one. Maybe he'd be the one doing the throat slitting afterall.

Jaymaru gave a grin as he told her to do what she wanted. She waited until he took a seat on the couch to go back to her room to get a few things before she came back and looked the wound over. It was bleeding and like she thought, it was deep. "Glad you decided to see things my way," she commented ever so lightly. "Would you be so kind as to take off your shirt, or can I just cut it?" She asked as she waved a kunai from side to side. I wonder where Krystalia went, I doubt she's given up though.That girl is a hell spawn.

Xantrex turned his head slightly and watched with a blank expression as Jaymaru left the room. He leaned forwards crossing his arms over his legs and looking at Bat. "She hasn't given up, right?" he asked with a small smirk. He knew that if there was one person that was even close to being a friend to Krissy, it was Bat. They were both evil little children. He just wasn't sure which one was moreso. He looked back to Jay as she came in, rolling his eyes at her. "Don't get too excited now. I just didn't feel like doing it myself," he said with a shrug. That was a half truth. And hell, she'd offered. But he still didn't like the fact that someone else was taking care of it. It made him uneasy. Without much more complaint than a small grunt of pain, Xantrex sat up and pulled his shirt off before leaning forward again, shifting his shoulder uncomfortably. He moved as little as possible after that. He knew how this worked.

Deita peaked his head into the room before walking in quietly. He blinked when he saw there was a shuriken in Xantrex. He'd had to fight the guy when he'd first gotten here. It hadn't been fun. He was really hard to hit. Deita didn't particularly like him, but wondered why he was injured. He'd heard pounding on the door earlier as well. "What happened?" he asked, sitting on an unoccupied couch away from the rest of them. He was still nervous around others, but he was working on that. As always, his trusty sword was strapped across his back. Even in the hideout, Deita never went anywhere without it.

Bat had finally calmed down and was now finding a mild amusement in the fact that Xan had been suckered into letting Jaymaru help him. Her possible outcomes sounded torturous. Had he not been who he was right now he would have been suckered in too. He grinned when Xan asked him about Krissy giving up. "You've only managed to make her madder," he said. "If she breaks down the door then you'll see what I mean." Bat tilted his head to the side and raised a brow. "Hey Pet. Why do you always carry your sword around? You still think you're going get attacked?" Bat yawned boredly. "You'll never get anywhere if you make it noticeable that you're scared," Bat taunted. "Oh, and stay away from the door, Krystalia's going to come charging in here eventually. She already doesn't like you."
