Personality: Since the Akatsuki's disbandment twenty-one years ago, Xantrex's personality has calmed down quite a bit. He doesn't actively look for chances to be cruel, and when he's bored he'll brainstorm rather than recklessly looking for fights and torturing people and/or animals. Though he'll still test new jutsu on animals or people, given the chance. He's usually a quiet person, just watching in on conversations from afar instead of joining in on them. A scientist at heart, Xantrex is always looking for new, simpler methods to his jutsu and time warping abilities. Unlike when he was in the Akatsuki, he's no longer something along the lines of bipolar, and finds it easier to concentrate on his work. Even though sometimes he finds it a bit disappointing that he lost track of his student, he continues his work alone. He often changes his age when he finds that he can't think straight, in the hopes that it will spark some kind of inspiration. Even though he has no desire to live forever, he'll make himself younger when he finds he's getting 'too old', in order to avoid his mind from rotting. Xantrex is known for traveling back in time to do research, and often comes back rather exhausted. Time traveling takes a lot out of him, but while he's there, he can watch events unfold as if he weren't even there.

{They Made Me Who I Am Today}

Family History: Xantrex's family was a relatively small one. In fact, his mother never even married his father, so the three lived alone for a while. Xantrex's father was also a bit of a scientist, creating jutsu here and there. But of course, those jutsu were accepted by the village he lived in. His mother was a nurse at the nearest hospital, and his father worked with the government in developing new jutsu that would be unique to his village alone. Needless to say, because of this, many attempts on Xan's father's life were made, and one of them was successful. So with his father dead, his mother had to pick up the slack. At least she had to until Xantrex turned 14.


Character History: When Xantrex turned 14, his intelligence in creating his own jutsu was recognized, and he was offered to take up his father's job. Being young and eager to follow in his father's footsteps, Xantrex gladly accepted. He did well in creating jutsu, as his chakra manipulation seemed to be way past what it should've been for his age. A jonin barely would've been able to match him when it came to chakra control. But Xantrex started getting bored with simple elemental jutsu. The chakra mixes were just too simple. So he started looking at perhaps manipulating time. That didn't go over well. It was a strict law that trying to manipulate time would receive harsh punishment. Everyone knew that. Because doing something like that could've brought about the end of the world if done wrong. Xantrex was given a warning, but continued with his efforts in his own room at his home. When he was found out, he was given a lighter punishment than most, and was banned from the village as an outcast, and should he have returned, would've been killed on sight. Of course, Xantrex's specialty up til this point was manipulation of shadows, so he could sneak in and out of the village without notice, use genjutsu with a shadow side effect to change his appearance, to go in and get supplies. But after a while he got tired of skulking around and decided to go join the Akatsuki, since they were just against the Vallies as he was.

After rising through the ranks for several years, and on more than one occasion being one of Deidara's right hand men, Xantrex disguised himself as Ladon Blitz, an ANBU Captain of the Magma Village, and took his place in the village as a spy. However, due to a series of unfortunate events, the Akatsuki lost both the Magma and the Death, despite Xantrex's efforts to the contrary. He returned to the Akatsuki, and after the last great war wiped them out, fled to live on his own to continue his research. He now travels about, continuing his research through any means necessary. He has no qualms about killing travelers to get money, so he often does that for the basic necessities. Somewhere among the Vallies he has a small house (recently vacated) in which he keeps his personal belongings and sleeps.


{A New Beginning}

Xantrex walked about in the Open, casually watching everything that was going on. Now that he was out of the Akatsuki, he dressed a bit more casually. He really didn't like drawing attention to himself, though sometimes the oddity of his hair did that for him. It's not like he cut it that way on purpose. Hell, he didn't even cut his hair, it was just that only certain strands of his hair would grow long and he tied it back just to keep it out of the way. He looked down as he saw a red ball land in front of his feet. He leaned down and picked it up, looking at it for a few moments before he realized a child had come up to him. He blinked once and tossed it to the child without a word. Just because he liked being cruel every now and again didn't mean he was always cruel.
