Rumiko felt like snapping, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He didn't have the strength to. Sighing he looked up/ "What now," he asked. (Rumi sure does say that one phrase alot.)

Kinaga gave a light smile. "How've you been?" He couldn't help but feel that Rumiko was mad at him, but for what he couldn't tell. I did come at a bad time afterall....Maybe if I was resurrected sooner, I could've been at the battle to prevent this from happening..... he thought sadly. Is it just me, or does Kinaga have a bad habit of taking the blame for everything?

Rumiko blinked at the question. "Terrible," he said simply. He glanced at Tenkuu. "My sister is dead and so is my brother," he said.

Kinaga looked down at the mention of Jaymaru. His heart didn't stop hurting since Tenkuu told him. He sat there silently, trying to keep as much of his cool as he could.

Rumiko looked at Kinaga. "And what about you," he asked. "How have you been in the past twenty years."

Kinaga looked at Rumiko, wondering if he'd heard him earlier. "It only felt like I was passed out for a few minutes....I'm not even sure if I was really dead, to be honest..." Kinaga looked outside of the ramen shop. This all felt like a false reality to him. Or maybe a bad dream or something. So much had changed, how could all of it be real?

Rumiko shrugged. "That's nice," he said in a monotone voice. He wasn't really sure if he was imagining things or not. He had stayed up late afterall and was busy training.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. After all that was happening, he was starting to feel sorry he was alive again. He looked off to the side. "Dead or not, I still missed you guys," he said quietly.

"I'll say the same," he said. "You know how you said that my last past sensei was wrong," he said. "Well he was right. I'd never be able to save anyone. I could save you, my sister, or my own brother," he said. (Rumi sure does have alot of bad luck.)

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "It's not your fault what happened. It couldn't be helped. Just because Jaymaru couldn't save me, does that make her weak? Not at all! And neither are you. Don't even think that it makes any of this your fault. Because it's not." Even after all these years he still doesn't think he can trust himself....

"That's were you're wrong. I couldn't save Okimur when I could have...no when I should have!" He said shaking his head. "Everything went wrong that day. He died in my arms. I sat there in the rain watching my sixteen year old twin brother die!" He said coldly. "It was all my fault. I'm the one who told him to sneak out with me, he could have said no but he went because he was my closest friend. My only real friend after you died," he said. "I knew the ninja were coming, it should have been me, they caught us right when we were out of the gates, we couldn't escape. It should have been me instead."

Kinaga frowned and looked down. As much as he tried, he just couldn't convince Rumiko that it wasn't his fault. Things just aren't the same as they used to be.....so much happened while I was gone....Okimur, Lex, Saruka.....Jaymaru....all of them....just...gone.... he thought sadly, remaining silent.

Rumiko stood up with a sigh. "Listen Kinaga, you may wanna try and get intact with the world. Things have changed over the years. You should start here in the village," he said looking at him. "I live on the very edge of the village if you need anything," he said. "I've got to go. If you want to talk to any of Jaymaru's kids they're all over the place. Just tell them you wanna talk to them about her. Tenkuu lived near the heart of the village with her brother Sukai," he said. "As for Sky he lived on the outskirts of the village, opposite of me, towards the east. And her daughter Jay, she lives in the Snow with Micah and her kid Kai." He said turning towards the exit.

Kinaga continued looking down. "Yeah, you're right. If I'm gonna live in this time period, I might as well get used to the changes...Thanks Rumi. I'll see you later, I guess." He stood up and looked at Tenkuu. "Thanks Tenkuu, it was nice meeting you. I suppose I'll see you later too," he said, starting to walk towards the exit too. How can I get used to all this.... He looked up quickly and quickened his pace to catch up with Rumiko. "Is Isaac still alive?" he asked, hoping that at least Isaac might be alive.

Rumiko looked at Kinaga. "I don't know, I haven't seen him since the day of the mission," he said. "There's a 50/50 chance. I looked for him day and night for two weeks. He never showed up."

Kinaga frowned and looked down. "I see..." he sighed. "I guess I'll see you around then..." he started walking down the street, still looking down with his hands in his pockets. Not even Isaac....
