Luko sat down near the Rogue Clan Camp. It was a sunny day and he'd finally finish all his business. Now he could sit back and relax for a while. He gave small sigh and closed his eyes but reopened them when he heard footsteps coming towards him.

Mikey walked around the camp, looking down. She'd just heard that Lucky died and wasn't quite over it yet. While walking she spotted Luko. I think that Orochi'd want to tell him... So instead of looking downcast she walked up to Luko and smiled. "Hi Luko." She'd just barely stopped herself from calling him sensei again. She couldn't get out of the habit, but she was a bit old to be calling him sensei anymore.

Luko looked up and smiled at Mikey. "Hello," he said to her. He wondered where she'd been but he dismissed the thought and said. "How's being a sensei going for you," he asked." He gave a small grin as he remembered the times he'd spent with her, but he never did show her to his secret spot. Only one person knew about it. Kairi. Luko closed his eyes for a second. I wonder where she's at. He gave a small sigh and waited for Mikey.

Mikey smiled, trying to keep from telling herself about Lucky. Luko was in a good mood, no need to ruin it, right? "It's been going really good actually, my student's a real optimist, I'll tell ya that," she said with a small laugh. She sat down in front of Luko in order to be eye-level with him.

Luko gave a smile. "An optimist huh, how'd you come to that?" He asked. He gave a grin as she got eye level with him. Guess she doesn't want to look inferior to me, he thought sarcastically. He gave a shrug and smiled.

Mikey smiled, her mind off the subject of Lucky for the moment. "He has this one shuriken his mother gave him. Now, his mother died and most kids would get upset talking about it, but when I asked him, he wasn't sad about it in the least. He didn't let it get him down at all."

Luko sat silent for a second. "I guess he is an optimist. So Mikey, how old i he again?" He asked a tag bit curious because most kids like that were of higher age but eventually you'd get one who was young.

Mikey gave a small shrug. "He's actually pretty young, he's four years old." Mikey leaned back a little and looked around at all the seemingly busy rogues. Alot of them irritated her. If one of'um was sitting around doin nothing and you asked them to help with something, they'd say that they were really busy. Lazy rogues.... she thought before looking back to Luko.

"Four years old, he's young," he said blinking. Luko remembered when he was just a kid and he lost his caretaker. He was no optimist about it. It had bothered the hell out of him to the point that he swore revenge on her murderer. And he did finish it. He looked around the camp and then back to Mikey. He hesitated for a second before saying. "Have you seen Kairi?"

Mikey blinked. Kairi....Kairi...oh yeah! That's Luko-sensei's girlfriend! she thought, remembering meeting her once. A grin spread over Mikey's face. For some reason she was developing a habit of teasing people. "Maaayyybbeee...." she said with a grin.

Luko looked at his former student and gave a sigh. Here it comes, why did I even ask, he thought looking down at the ground now. He pulled out a kunai and started to poke at some grass. He rarely used to kunai but sometimes you had to because if anything every happened to his sword he'd be screwed without them.

Mikey frowned slightly. Anyone else would've took the bait, but then again, Luko wasn't anyone else. Mikey shrugged. "Yeah, I saw her walking around the forest a day or two ago." It was no fun with someone who wouldn't play back.

Luko gave a small grin. "Thank you," he said. He wondered when he'd see Kairi again. He stuck the kunai in the ground and looked up at Mikey. She wanted to play, well he'd play back even though it was immature and what he was about to do was going to be completely mean, but whatever. "Mikey, have you noticed anything different lately," he asked casually.

Mikey frowned, looking a bit confused. "Different? Uhh...no, not really. Why?" Mikey looked around a little, wondering what he was talking about, then looked back at him.

Luko picked up his kunai and pointed it at the camp. "You haven't noticed that some of the rogues aren't here. That our numbers have decreased," he asked. He gave a sigh and narrowed his eyes some. "The Akatsuki have been coming near the forest lately. We sent some rogues out but they never came back. That was about two days ago, that why I was wondering if you'd seen Kairi."

Mikey's eyes widened a little. "R-really!? Th-they could be dead by now!" And what's worse....Deidara might be one of the Akatsuki that's coming close to the forest, it's just like him to do something like that!

Luko swallowed. "Yeah, that's what I'm worried about," he said clenching his fist. "What makes it worse is that one of the rogues that did come back reported that Deidara was with them." He looked at Mikey. "Are you scared?" He asked.

(Dude.....no you did not...that's the meanest thing you could've ever done....)

Mikey frowned and looked at Luko. "D-Deidara's with them....?" Mikey looked off to the side, looking as calm as she possibly could. "Well...if Deidara's with them, then yeah..." A small thought came to her and she realized that if it were anyone else asking her that, she would've beaten them to a pulp on impulse just for asking.

Luko looked at her calmly. "Mikey, you shouldn't be," he said slowly. "Because you're on scare tactics." Luko couldn't help himself but laugh. He knew Mikey would kill him after that but it was fun. He couldn't wait for her reaction.

Mikey's mouth almost dropped open as she looked at Luko. He...he tricked me! Her hand clenched into a fist. "Y...you..." she punched his arm, but not hard enough to seriously hurt him. "Don't ever do that again!!" she yelled. Of all the things to fall for...!

Luko kept laughing but rubbed his arm some. It'd probably be sore but it was worth it. He gave a small smiled. "Sorry," he said rubbing his head. "I was only playing some, sure it was mean but i really am sorry.....kiddo." He gave a harmless grin.

Mikey tried not to, but she couldn't help herself from smiling when he called her kiddo. "I should've seen that coming...." she said irritatedly. Mikey crossed her arms and looked at Luko. "But don't ever do that again!" She said angrily, but after a moment couldn't help but laugh.

Luko gave a grin and smiled. "Yeah, I promise not to," he said. He gave a small smile. "Anyway, how are you Mikey," he asked.

Mikey looked at Luko and shrugged. "Well, I was alot better before you almost gave me a heartattack," she said with a small grin. "How bout you?"

Luko smiled. "You're too young to be having heart attacks Mikey," he said. "Besides, you know I wouldn't let him harm you." He gave a kind smile and then looked out into the forest. "I'm fine, just busy is all."
