Takashi had asked Tyson to stay late after the training session in order to catch him up with the others. He looked at the kid with a small smile. "You ready," he asked as he pulled out a kunai. "You can use any type of technique from this lesson or the one before," he said. He then stepped back. "Your goal is to take me down."

Tyson nodded as Takashi spoke. "Okay sensei," he said as Takashi pulled out a kunai. Tyson pulled out one of his own. This wasn't going to be easy because he was the only person fighting, hopefully Takashi would go easy on him. "Ninja Art: Shadow Possession Jutsu."

Takashi jumped into the tree as he saw the Shadow Possession Jutsu. "Come on Tyson, I know you've got more jutsu than that," he said. He then landed on a branch and pulled out a kunai. "Or am I wrong about you," he asked, his eyes becoming serious.

Tyson looked up at Takashi. "Never," he said as he pulled his own kunai and jumped into the tree with Takashi and threw the kunai. He would not be left behind! "I'm stronger," he said as he went to kick Takashi as well.

Takashi countered the kunai and backed up as Tyson kicked him. Using chakra control he swung around the other side of the tree and knocked him to the ground. "I wont stand for failure," Takashi said as he whipped blood from his mouth. "And I won't go easy just because your teammates aren't here."

Tyson was surprised he'd hit his sensei, but because he was casught off guard he himself ended up being hit and he fell to the ground. As he sensei told him that he wouldn't stand for failure Tyson flipped mid-air and landed on his feet. "Then I won't show you failure." Tyson had to make a plan. If he wanted to take his sensei down alone, he'd have to try using higher level jutsu. Maybe something that would catch Takashi off guard, but what.

Takashi stood on the branch looking down at Tyson. "Prove it then," he told him. "If you continue on like this then you'll fall behind the others, I might have to transfer you to a different squad. You don't want that do you?" Takashi pulled a kunai. "So stop sitting around and do something." He threw the kunai at Tyson then dropped from the tree. As he fell he started a jutsu. "Ninja Art: Water Dragon Jutsu." The water dragon was half the size of it;s normal form. He didn't want to kill his student...just shake him up a bit. Get his blood running.

Tyson had fear strike him when his sensei told him he'd be moved to a different squad if he didn't pick up the pace. He didn't want that at all, Adrian and Kymir were his friends now. Tyson jumped back from the kunai and then rolled to the side as the water dragon came for him. Strategy, that's what he needed. And a firm plan. Tyson headed for the closest tree. He searched through his bag quickly. Smoke bomb. He picked it out and then moved from behind the tree and threw it towards Takashi. Getting a kunai he placed a paper bomb on it and aimed it at his sensei's feet. Tyson was acting fast and with purpose.

Takashi watched his student go to the nearest tree. What was he planning? "Tyson, you have to use some hand to hand combat eventually," he told the Death ninja. He pulled a shuriken and deflected the kunai, the explosion made him step back. Instinctively he covered his face so that any attacks done wouldn't hit any vital spots in his neck. Takashi fought with the boy for about another hour before he raised his hands above his head. "Tyson, training is done for today. Report tomorrow to the training grounds. I'll be choosing someone as squad leader."
