Zandra walked into the training grounds, stretching. She'd gotten a good night's sleep for the most part, but she was still a bit sore from the training the day before. Looking around, she wondered if she came a bit too early, because she didn't see her sensei around anywhere. So Zandra plopped down by a tree and waited.

"Hey!"he said,jumping from the tree she was under.He'd been out most of the night,preparing for their second training session so he decided to just sleep in the tree at the training grounds."Ready for today's training?"he asked,smirking and thinking of all he'd done.

Zandra jumped when she heard her sensei's yell from above her and looked up, her eyes following him when he jumped down. Getting up quickly, Zandra gave a nod. "You bet! What're we doing?" she asked, completely unaware that she was about to have one of the most difficult training sessions of her life. (foreeessshhhaddoowww)

He pulled a notebook filled with so many papers it looked like it was about to burst out from behind him."Missions around the village!"he said,smirking happily."There's a lesson in this that I'll ask you about at the end of the day,which would be at six o'clock tonight,so,we're going to have t hurry and get started.We have 12 places to visit and help out with.Each completed mission earns us and the village a bit of money,"he said.

Zandra grinned. They were dong missions already? This was too great! "Alright then sensei!" She said, trying not to jump out of her skin with excitement. "Let's go!" The only time she could ever remember being this eager was when she was about to first come to the surface world only a couple years earlier.

"Alright!"he shouted,seeing her excitement."The first one is.....Picking plants used for medication!"he told her,smirking happily.

Zandra blinked. It didn't seem like the kind of mission ninja's should be doing, but if it would getter higher up to the real ninja missions, then why shouldn't she do it? (If you haven't noticed, Zan's a really optimistic thinker) Smiling, Zandra started off towards the village. "Come on sensei, don't fall behind!" she yelled with a small giggle.

"You can't outrun me!!!"he shouted,beginning to catch up easily.As they entered the village,he led her to a large house with an even larger garden in both the front and back of it.A woman was waiting in front for them."There you two are.And right on time,I may add,"she said.

Zandra gave a small laugh as she heard her sensei. She followed next to him up to a large house with a gigantic garden in front of it. They only had until six o'clock to do 12 missions, and if they were all this size, Zandra wasn't sure they'd be able to get it all done on time. Zandra smiled at the lady and nodded as she said right on time.

"Yep,"Kenjiro said.The lady led them to the back of the house where another large garden filled with several different flowers of varying colors were."Well,I'll leave you two to it.Be done before I get back please?"she said before walking off."Alright then,Zandra,"he pulled three pictures from his pocket."We're looking for these,"he said,pointing to a purplish blue flower."There are several of this color,so here,make sure it's exactly like this one,"he said,giving her the card.

Zandra nodded as the lady left and looked back at Kenjiro. Looking at the card, Zandra took it as he handed it to her. "Okay!" she said with a smile. Looking around the garden, she ran to a spot and started looking for the flower, but then stopped and looked at Kenjiro. "Uhh, sensei? Where are we putting them?"

He thought about this then quickly teleported off,coming back with a wicker basket."Into here will be just fine,"he told her before starting on his own search elsewhere in the garden.

Zandra was shocked as Kenjiro teleported. She'd never seen anyone do that before and it was astounding. She looked at the basket as he brought it and nodded. "You got it sensei!" she said with a smile as she got to work. After about a half hour or so, she'd already had the basket mostly full.

"Good job,"he said,walking back from where he'd disappeared to without a thing in hand.He looked at the basket."Perfect.Now,we just need to do the front and we'll be done,"he told her,picking up the basket.

Zandra looked up at Kenjiro with a smile. "You got it sensei!" She said getting up and dusting herself off slightly. She wondered where he'd been that whole time. He didn't have a thing with him. Oh well, she guessed it didn't matter too much. Smiling, Zandra ran into the front, the card that Kenjiro'd gave her in her pocket. Having picked all those flowers, she'd memorized what it looked like. Kneeling down, Zandra started immediately. They had all day, but they also had 11 more "missions" to do.

Once the basket was filled over,Kenjiro told her that was enough."That'll be enough,"he told her,"he said,picking up the basket and holding out his hand to help her up.Where he'd been all depended on if they could get through all the missions and have time to spare today.

Zandra sneezed from the bit of pollen that came up when Kenjiro lifted up the basket. Blinking a few times, Zandra took Kenjiro's hand and pulled herself up. Dusting herself off, she looked back at him. "What's the next one sensei?" she asked with a smile.

He looked in his notebook after covering the basket with a small napkin to keep the pollen from getting to her."We have to head to the river.There's suppose to be trash in it and it needs to be cleaned up,"he said.Leaving a note on the basket for the house owner,the two walked to the gate."Race ya,"he said."I'll even give you a.....ten second head start."

Zandra blinked. The...river? she thought silently. She hoped it wasn't one with anybody she knew. That would be very bad. And, besides the point, who would throw trash in the water? Had these humans no considerations for aquatic life? Zandra gave a small grin as her sensei told her that he'd give her a ten second head start. "Whatever you say sensei, but I'm not gonna need it!" She said as she started off at top speed.

He began humming to himself while counting off in his head."Nine,ten,"he whispered before dashing off himself."Hm,probably shoulda made that a five second one instead,"he laughed to himself,realizing he was gonna have to speed up majorly.After a couple of minutes later,he'd caught up with her......at the river."Shoulda definitely made it five seconds,"he said with a sigh.

Zandra smiled as Kenjiro caught up to her just as they got to the river. "Toldya," she said with a small grin. The grin left her face as she turned to the river though. There was trash everywhere... "We should really get started on this," she said almost quietly.

Kenjiro nodded and pulled out several trash bags."It's sad,isn't it?"he asked as he began picking up trash along the bank of the river."This trash piled up around the riverbank,"he said with a sad sigh.

Taking a trashbag, Zandra started picking up the garbage around the banks with a renewed spirit. They had to get this all cleaned up! No fishes should've had to live in water this filthy! Zandra looked at her sensei as he spoke and nodded. "This is absolutely horrible! No waters should be like this!" she said as she continued to pick up the trash.

"I know but that'll happen sometimes,"eh said with a sad sigh."The one thing is,we've learned from this and,"he started,walkign to the river and reaching into it,"we've had a net put in the water to stop trash from flowing own river but it's big enough to let fish go through,"he told her,pulling up a net filled with trash.

Zandra smiled as she saw her sensei bring the net up. "Well at least something's being done about it!" But it still doesn't make this right... she thought silently as she continued along the banks. She didn't know that there were humans who actually cared what happened to the environment, but at least her sensei was one of them. She hoped.
