Annie sat down near a tree and crossed her legs indian style. Her hat was snug against her head and her scarf blowing with the wind. A frown was upon her face. The day had not been going as well as she hoped it would. She though that maybe she'd go to training in then come home to find her mom and dad waiting for her, but no, everything was backwards. Training had been canceled so she took a trip to her friends house who so happened to have been sick, so she went for a walk through the village then came home, but her father and mother had had an argument and refused to speak to one another and was using her as a messanger. So she left and came up to the Open to catch a break, but noooo, it had to be all windy and stuff and she was very cold.

Etsu was on her way back to Shen's house. She'd been over near the Rogue Forest playing, but it was about time she got back, but as usual she had to take a detour through the Open. Well not really. Yes, she needed to walk through the open, but she didn't have to stop. Cartwheeling down the hill she nearly crashed into a girl. Stopping herself she tumbled across the ground.
