Beware the man with yellow eyes. Felix had taken heed to the warning Meridian had relayed to him approximately a week ago in his dreams. Usually he would not think much of something such as this, but there were several reasons as to why he chose differently for this occasion. One, Meridian had given him a warning, which was extremely out of the ordinary. She was always just a memory to him. Two, he had a dream. Felix never had dreams. Three, he never received warnings unless they came from Kyla. And this was why he’d taken a trip to the woman who made him what he was today.

Felix hadn’t told anyone he was leaving. He didn’t feel as though people needed to know where he was going. The Rock Village was a journeys away, but had he mentioned it, he’d be put on restriction to not leave the village. A weeks time and all his wounds had not yet healed. His shoulder had been put back into place, and yes the scratches had healed, but his ribs were still healing and the bite mark he’d received from the creature remained on his shoulder and burned intensely. Unfortunately it was on the same shoulder of which, about twenty some years ago, Eliade had used a very powerful jutsu on him in order to get to Serenity and Shaira. It had left permanent nerve damage in his right arm. And being immortal, permanent was a long time.

It took a total of six and a half days to get to the village, and as usual Kyla was not surprised to see him. “Ah, the boy with silver hair has returned,” was her greeting. Felix sighed and entered the house.“Nice to see you too Kyla, I need your help.” The old woman smiled. “Beware the yellow eyes, is that not the words your past girl speaks. And now you have come to seek me.” Her words were flat as she spoke. Felix sat back in the chair. “Enlighten me,” he said with equal flatness. Kyla made her way to him and stared up at him for a long moment. “You have been careless. Fighting things which you have no business fighting. Let that woman bear her burdens alone. You will have your time soon enough.” Felix sighed. “Enlighten me some more.” Kyla took him by his injured arm. “Immortality is nothing if you cannot keep yourself safe. There are forces at work Felix, evil forces.”

The silver haired ninja sighed. “What am I suppose to do? There are hundreds of people with yellow eyes. And I cannot just abandon Serenity as though she means nothing to me.” He moved his arm away from Kyla and the old woman shook her head. “Innocent child, love is blinding. What lies ahead of you will shatter your already torn soul. Are you ready?” Felix nodded. He knew that whatever he was about to deal with he had no choice but to be ready. “I’m ready.”

The trip home was less than pleasant. His mind swirling with thoughts of what had happened in the past hour, he was relieved to be home in the Crested again. Felix walked all the way to the park and stood there for a long time watching the river.

“I can’t keep doing this,” he whispered.

Serenity hadn't seen Felix for a while, but she wasn't all too worried. She knew he was probably off doing something. The only thing she was worried about was the fact that his ribs probably weren't fully healed yet. But while he was gone, Serenity had been trying to find out more about her new found 'pet'. Yes, she'd kept it, since it both seemed to like her and didn't seem dangerous. The thing helped her out quite a lot as well. Whenever ninja would come over to get healed, as if it had read her mind, it would go get her bandages as she needed them. So, it was a bit weird, big deal. It was...cute.

Serenity had been taking the creature out as well, walking through the park and what not, just to see if it would run away from her, which it didn't. It would just skip along and play with the other animals, which, surprisingly, didn't run away from it. On this particular day, however, Serenity decided that she wanted to have a little fun of her own, release her kid side a little. She was dressed in jean shorts, which were rolled up at the bottom once, and a pink tank top. But that wasn't the childish side of it. She'd told the little dragon to run off, because she'd seen Felix walk towards the river. She hadn't seen him in a while, and he looked a bit down, so she decided to cheer him up a bit.

Getting up into one of the trees, Serenity followed after Felix silently, keeping on the thicker parts of the tree branches, so that she didn't shake any of the leaves. Once she was on a tree a few feet away from him, and once he'd stopped, she sat down with her back against him and let her legs hang off, then tightened them around the branch before letting herself fall backwards so that she was hanging upside down on the tree branch while looking at Felix, her hair falling around her head. "Hi there!" she said loudly, as to catch his attention. "Haven't seen you in a while!" she giggled.

He hadn't heard her when she'd made her way into the tree. He wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings. Serenity, after all was the last person he expected to be in a park. He'd expected her to be home healing the ninja of the Crested. He looked down at the ground and the up as he heard movement above him. Had his heart been in a bad condition he might have had a heart attack. Felix's blue eyes widdened lightly and he lost his balance at the shock of Serenity. He fell backwards into the grass and looked up at her childishness in mild disgust, but it was hidden by a grin that he'd instantly put on to cover his true feelings. "Heh, hello there little monkey, have you seen my friend?" He asked as he stood up. "How've you been?" He asked.

Serenity couldn't help but start laughing at his reaction. "I can't believe that worked!" she giggled, a bit red in the face from both laughing so hard and from hanging upside down. Deciding that she was gonna end up getting headrush soon, Serenity loosened her legs from the branch and let her arms fall under her so that when she fell off, she'd be in handstand position. She then let herself fall so that if she landed, she'd be on her back, but pushed herself with her hands so that she'd land on her feet instead. (Unbeknown to Felix, Serenity had always been rather good at gymnastics and rather enjoyed doing them.) She then turned around to face Felix with a bright smile. Yes, she was in a good mood today. "I've been great, how about you?" she asked with the same smile. "I didn't make ya fall too bad, did I?" she asked with a light giggle. No, she hadn't asked where he'd been. She knew better than that. Felix liked keeping his secrets, she knew this.

Felix grunted at her excitement about being able to make him fall over. "I'm sure I'll live." He told her. Felix got up and put his hands in his pockets. "Anyway i've been good." He gave a small grin. "You like flipping all over the place I see." Felix smirked. "What brings you to the park?"

Serenity rolled her eyes as he said he'd live. "I sure hope so." She looked around the back of him on the ground, then back to him with a small grin. "Good, you didn't fall on some kind of anti-immortality rock or anything like that," she joked with a small giggle and a light nod. "You could say that," she said with a smile in reference to the flipping comment. "Well, ever since I let that dragon into my house, it's been following me pretty much everywhere, so every now and then I go to the park with it, see if it runs off back to the Unknown. It never did," she said with a shrug, never even mentioning a name for it. Well, she hadn't really named it yet actually. She didn't want to get too attached to it just yet, even though it might've been a bit too late for that already.

Felix raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I fell on one." He placed his hand on his chest and dropped to his knees. "Or maybe I did." He smirked and sat back in the grass. "So you kept that thing. It's been how long now? 3 weeks or so? Give or take." He shrugged. "It's your pet now?"

Serenity smiled when he said that he didn't think he fell on one, then crossed her arms with a light chuckle as he played up his little act. She plopped down in the grass in front of him as he sat down, sitting cross-legged as she did so. "Yeah, about three weeks I guess," she said with a light shrug. "Hmm," she looked up thoughtfully as he asked if it was her pet. "I suppose you could say that. It is really useful to have around actually."

"What do you mean by useful?" He asked. His blue eyes shinning a bit. It was a nice day and being around Serenity cleared his mind of all that him and Kyla had discussed. (I just posted the basics on their conversation.) "So, it's your pet, but you didn't give 'It' a name yet?" He shook his head. "Tsk, tsk, you're a bad owner."

Serenity merely shrugged when he asked what he meant by useful. "Well....it's kinda like the thing reads my mind or something. Say for example, I'm healing a patient and I need to get extra medical tape or something, two seconds later, the little creature is sitting there with it for me. It's very strange actually, but also very useful," she said with a slight nod. She blinked as Felix stated that she didn't give it a name. "I've tried...but everything I try to name it, it seems to dislike," she told him. "And none of the names seem to fit it," she said with a light sigh, then stuck her tongue out at him at his last sentence. "I am not a bad owner," she said with a light mock-pout.

"Sure...." He commented. "Look at you pouting." He started to laugh. "Anyway, if he doesn't like the names, and if he's so smart. Name off letters of the alphabet until he nods or something. Maybe it knows how to spell it's name or something." He shrugged. "Anyway, where is it?"

Serenity rolled her eyes as he teased her pouting. "Oh shut up you," she laughed lightly. She tilted her head as he suggested having the creature spell out it's name. "That's not a bad idea. Why didn't I think of that...?" she said lightly. She looked around a moment as he asked where it was, then pointed towards the park. "Off in that direction somewhere. I think," she said with a light laugh. "For some reason, it likes playing with the other animals in the park, and they don't run away from it, sooo, I just let it go off on it's own when we're here, if it wants to," she explained with a smile.

Felix smirked. "Because you're not as bright as I am," he whispered. "You think?" He gave a small chuckle. The thing was almost like a child. He shook his head and laid on his back. "You know, I think that I can get used to this." He closed his eyes. "Yeps, I most definitely can."

Serenity raised an eyebrow at him as he whispered that she wasn't as bright as he was. "That's mean," she laughed lightly. She blushed a bit lightly as he asked she thunk? "Well...it tends to go it's own way," she said, looking off to the side a little bit. She looked back at him, her blush faded, as he said that he thought he could get used to this, then laid himself back. With a smile, Serenity crawled a bit closer to him and laid down on her stomach next to him, propping her head up with one of her hands and looking at him. "Get used to what?" she asked with a smile. Of course she knew what he was talking about. Sort of. But still, she wanted to know if she knew for sure what he was talking about, because with Felix you could never be too sure. (uh-oh, I sense Ferenity moment.....)

Felix looked at her ask she laid down next to him. If it had been someone else he'd say they were invading his personal space. But this was Serenity, the two of them didn't have personal space when it came to the two of them. That may have just been the way he saw it, but he wouldn't ask. Why bring it up if everyone seemed to be happy. "I can get used to vacation." He told her. "Not doing anything."

That was...well, part of what she thought he'd been talking about, at least she'd gotten that much right. She smiled as he said that he could get used to vacation. "See? It's not that bad, is it?" she asked with a smile. She then rolled over onto her back and looked up at the near cloudless sky. "Mmm, what a perfect day," she said with a light giggle and a bright smile. She loved days like this. Warm, cloudless, bright, barely any wind. It was absolutely perfect.

Felix didn't believe in perfection. Especially not after visiting Kyla. Almost perfect was as good as it would gte with him. But he would not spoil this day. "I highly agree with you," he told her as he opened his eyes and looked up at the sky. It was kind of nice. That much he would admit. He grinned ever so lightly and looked over to Serenity. He had missed her the two weeks he'd been gone. "You are the highlight of my day," he whispered. "And for that I thank you."

Serenity smiled as he said that he agreed with her, but didn't take her gaze from the beautiful sky. She only did so at his last two sentences. She blushed and looked over at him with a smile. "Even though I made you fall backwards?" she teased, then shook her head lightly. "Honestly, seeing you has totally made my day too," she said with the lightest of giggles, the light coat of blush still on her face. (perfect sakura petals falling moment)

"I guess you were part of the highlight I guess, seeing as though you made me fall on a rock that could steal my life away." He mused. "Is that what you wish for?" He asked. "I thought you wanted me around." He shook his head in mock hurt. "And I'm glad I'm able to make you day." He wanted to smile, he needed to, but he couldn't, he wouldn't! "We should do something tonight."

Serenity laughed lightly at his musings. "Whaatt? Me, wish for something like that? Of course not!" she said in an almost childish tone. "Of course I want you around silly," she said with a bright smile, rolling over to be a bit closer to him, and wrapping her arm lightly around him in a light hug with the same bright, playful smile. She blinked as he said that they should do something that night. "Like what?" she asked, clearly caught off guard by that request. That was...odd. Felix had been wanting to do stuff with her much more than usual lately. Not that she was complaining, it was just out of the ordinary.

Felix shrugged. "I don't know, anything besides sit around in your house all day. I do plan on spending the night since I'm back in town." He told her. "I mean unless you'd rather sit in the house all night huddled up against each other on the couch." Felix gave a small chuckle. He had purposely not said anything about her hugging him.

Serenity simply smiled as he said anything besides sitting around in her house all day. Her smile brightened some as he said he planned on staying the night. She blushed as he said unless she'd rather stay at the house all night huddled up against each other. "No, no, let's go out tonight!" she said, sounding excited. She liked dressing up. More than that, she liked dressing up for Felix. And even more than that? Seeing the look on his face when she comes out all dressed up. Yes, though he tried to hide it, Serenity always saw something in his face that brightened her day. She could never quite place exactly what it was, but it wasn't a bad thing and that was enough for her. And since he hadn't said anything about her hugging him, she simply stayed like that.

Felix smirked. She was way too happy about this. But where would the go? Maybe a night carnival would be held somewhere in town. All they had to do was find a babysitter for the dragon so it wouldn't follow them all over the village. While he thought of a place to go he found himself slowly coming to notice she had not let him out of the hug. Okay, he'd said personal space was not an issue between the two of them, but...this was a little much wasn't it? "Midnight Carnival?"

Serenity found herself sitting upright quickly and looking at Felix with a bright smile as he mentioned a Midnight Carnival. "Really? Oh, now that you mention it, we should, I love midnight carnivals!" she said, sounding really excited about this. Yes, if there was one thing Serenity loved more than carnivals, it was midnight carnivals.

Felix looked at her devilishly. "You're a party girl eh?" He started to chuckle lightly before sitting up as well. "I don't think I've ever been to a Midnight Carnival. I hear they're filled with lights and stuff, but whatever." He stood up and crossed his arms behind his head. "But, if you're this excited I guess it'll be okay."
