Kira dusted her hands off,smiling at the work she and several others had just done to a house.The sky was lit brightly with the sun shining overhead.Most of their villages houses' had been destroyed but they did have several places set up just in case something like this happened.Plus,they had several farmlands set up on the outer rims of the village for food and plenty of meat ready.

Rumiko sighed as he looked upon the village. Those snake ninja had done a number on the village. He'd been hard at work getting together all the names of those who'd lost their lives and breaking the news to their families. It was a job he'd rather not have done, but somebody had to do it. He turned away from the wreckage and went to look for Kira. He found her shortly after. "How you feeling?" He asked.

Kira smiled at her assistant."A lot better,thanks!"she said,smiling."Thanks to our medical ninja and their antidotes,I was able to be back on my feet in a couple of days."She started to help move stuff inside of the house but stopped,wincing a bit at a pain in her back.She shook it off,smiling."How are you doing?"

Rumiko frowned. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, noticing her stop and wincing. If she needed more rest she should get some. He could take over, that was why he was here. Shaking his head slightly he looked to the side. "I'm fine, just," he shrugged. He didn't know how to explain it. He wasn't tired, yet he was, and at the same time he felt kind of beat up. Like this war was not what it was said to be. His shoulders slumped lightly and he started to pick up a few boxes. "I'm fine." He said finally, just leaving it at that.

She could tell there was something on his mind but knew he wouldn't want to talk about it at the moment.As they finished getting stuff inside,she sat down,breathing a heavy sigh."Maybe I should take a bit of a rest,"she said,chuckling a bit and holding her side slightly.

Ladon had just gotten done with helping a family with getting back to their home safely. Well, several families. Things were cooling off, and that would good. No one would expect what was coming next. No one. Either way, Ladon himself was cooling off, and enjoying the lack of battles. He noticed Kira and Rumiko speaking a bit down the street from where he was, and decided to go see how Kira was holding up, as well as Rumiko. After giving a small wave to the family, Ladon walked down the street and towards the two. "Hello there. How are you holding up?" he asked them both once he was close enough to be noticed.

Rumiko smiled sympathetically. "Please do rest," he encouraged. "We don't need you passing out." He had promised in the beginning to help her with anything she needed as long as he was her assistant. That also went for when/if he stepped down from the position. And let there be no secret to it, he had often thought of stepping down for various reasons. He glanced over his shoulder as he saw Ladon. Turning complete he waved to the younger ninja. "I'm fine," he said. "Kira here needs to take a break. She's been overworking herself, I just told her if she passes out we'll all be in trouble." He gave the Magumakage a small smile then looked back to Ladon. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm fine,too!"Kira griped at them,sticking her tongue out.But,she said."Fine,I'll rest for a bit,but then I get back to work with everyone else,"she said stubbornly.A jonin came up to her,followed by two other guards of the kage tower,all of them holding stacks of paperwork.She sighed,dropping her head in defeat.

Ladon shook his head lightly when he was informed that Kira was overworking herself. "That's the last thing you should be doing. You should be taking a rest, you deserve it," he told her with a light smile. When she stuck her tongue out, he had to force himself to remember that she was still just a kid. She shouldn't have even been a jonin yet, and here she was, Kage of an entire village. It was almost sad in a way, that she didn't get to live out a normal life. But it was a path she chose, so Ladon could say nothing about it. "I'm glad to hear that you two are doing well. I'm doing fine, helping to rebuild whatever homes need it, and happy to report there aren't all that many," he stated with a light smile. He liked feeling like a part of something. It was a feeling he could most definitely get used to. He chuckled when a few ninja showed up with stacks of paper work.

Rumiko agreed with Ladon. Kira did deserve a rest. She'd been working extra hard since the War ended. They all need the rest really. He blinked when a jonin and two guards came up with paperwork. "You guys serious?" He asked. "Can't this wait?" He couldn't help but laugh. "Looks like you'll be getting back to work alright, but it won't be physical labor." He eyed the stack of papers. "One stack for each one of us," he said, glancing at Ladon.

Ladon only chuckled and shook his head as Rumiko laughed. It actually was a bit amusing. Sure papers had to be filled out, but couldn't it wait until after they made sure all the families were settled back in? Oh well, it wasn't really his call. Ladon gave a smile and nodded to Rumiko when he said one stack for each of them. Of course he wouldn't mind helping out his kage. Things like this had to be done. Granted, he wasn't a big fan of paperwork, but who was?

Kira smiled happily,glad to have friends like them....but...."Thanks guys.But,I'll handle the paperwork.I need you two out here to help with the repairs and tell me if anything is needed so we can order it.Besides,in my present state,even though I'd hate to admit it,I don't think I can do much more out here,"she sighed,getting up and wincing at her back.

"If that's what you want," he told her. He looked around the village. People were still working. "I'll go do a quick check up of everything that's going on." He started to walk off. "Oh Kira, try not to over do it." Disappearing he went through the village. Stopping to give people a few words of encouragement and thanks before moving on. "We're not as badly damaged as I though we would be. If we'd had more time we could have had less casualties, but either way, it's good to know we didn't have to many problems." Rumiko picked up a piece of wood and moved it to the side so a carriage could get by. "At least it beats paperwork."

Kira nodded at Rumiko's request and began looking over a few papers before sneezing."Hm,someone is talking about me or my work,"she whispered,grabbing a pin and began working.She didn't feel like going to the office to work,plus it was in a bit of ruin itself,being attacked by the serpent ninja but easily blocked back.
