Founded by Tobimaru Yama, the Snow was one of the four original villages to be started, alongside the Death, Magma, and Stealth. It has had a long line of Kages, victories, and defeats. Tobimaru wasn't part of the close circle of friends that the other Kages had. He was a loner who wanted a family and thus he joined with them and created the Valley of Snow.
Covered in endless snow and ice, the Snow would become a village that was known for it's icy warriors and it's long line of supernatural leaders. Tobimaru, although he loved his village, would not serve his village for a long time. He would end up passing away from sickness and his assistant Dante would take over the village. Dante wasn't prepared for being Kage and when it came down to it, he just couldn't handle it. He would retire and pass the leadership to his Assistant Kraven.
Kraven would be the man who would bring the Snow to glory, his only mistake would have been to appoint Micah as his successor instead of Takashi who was his assistant. When the First Great War was waged, Kraven would bring his shinobi to the fight. Once the war was won, the villagers of the Snow would return to their home and rebuild their village.
After the Second Great War against the Akatsuki, Kraven would retire and give leadership to Micah. Micah would take the leadership and run the village without problem, but once his wife Jay passed away, leaving him with only their daughter to raise. Plagued by grief the Kage would start to lose sight of the important things.
Turning his back on the other villages, Micah would wage war on the Stealth Valley in the middle of a very dark time. His attack on the Stealth would leave the opposing village weak and soon after the deranged man would strike a deal with the Akatsuki leader Deidara. This outraged his villagers, and when they threatened to overthrow him, he threatened to remove them all by force.
As the battles raged on outside of the walls, the Snow were fighting an internal battle. When the final battle came, the Snow Valley would actually be forced to fight on the side of the Akatsuki, but Takashi, the Assistant to the Snow Kage would arrange a coup d'etat and kill Micah during the fight. The Snow would then join the ranks of their fellow villages and help defeat the Akatsuki.
After the battle, Takashi was mortally wounded and with no successor to the Kage's throne, it would be easy for Kazuma to offer to lead the village, even though he was a former Akatsuki. No one however knew this information and as the peace stretches on, the current Snow Kage plans for a revenge that will shake the Valleys to their roots.
