Takashi sat down in the grass waiting for the other canines of the night to show. He already knew some that were coming. Jay and Sky, and Tenkuu. Tonight they were going to hunt under the full moon.

Sky runs up to his father. "Hello."

"Hello Sky, nice to see you after one year. What's been going on?"

Jay walks up her fur bristling at the sight of Sky. But she knew if she fought him here Takashi would probably take his side since he was the leader of the wolves. Instead she headed off in the other direction and started to groom herself for the hunt.

"It's been okay. I'm entering the chunin exams. And I have two new siblings. Tenkuu and Sukai."

Takashi looked at Jay and growled. Then he looks back to Sky. That's great. Is Tenkuu coming tonight? I hadn't asked your mother, so I wouldn't know."

"No, not this time. She's too young."

"Better to start now than later."

"True," he said yawning.

Jay looks at Sky. "What you yawning for? I thought you'd have the common sense to go go to sleep since we start at midnight."

Takashi growls at Jay. "Quiet!"
