Cross walked through the rogue forest, his face expressionless. He'd been hired to deliver a message to the rogue leader, Luko. He was looking for him, but didn' have a clue where the guy might be other than in the rogue forest. He had been told to keep the Rogue Leader busy for a while. He didn't have to kill the guy, just keep him from going anywhere. This was one of the messages that Cross almost enjoyed delivering. Almost. Since he didn't know where to start looking, he decided to start at where the rogue clan was looking. He didn't bother asking anyone where the rogue leader was, because he knew that the guy would undoubtedly come to him.

Luko was in a conversation with one of the younger rogues. She was giving him a briefing about another group of rogues. He gave her a smile. "Thank you, get some rest now." He stood up and walked around speaking with others about a little bit of everything. Family, friends, places to hang out. He had a bond with his rogues. He treated them as equals, they were his family. Making his way to the front he saw someone he didn't know. His didn't become alarmed, if this person was a threat, he'd deal with it. "Welcome to the Rogue Clan, I'm Luko." He greeted. "Looking for something or someone?"

Cross's eyes were blank as a man with white hair approached him. He stopped walking and looked at the man. "Luko. Leader of the Rogue Clan?" he asked, his voice as blank as his eyes. He'd noticed that a couple rogues in the area were giving Cross nervous looks. That was always what happened. His emotionless demeanor always gave people a bit of a scare, and if not, put them on their toes. He waited for Luko's response. "I have a message for you," he stated, a kunai slipping down from inside his sleeve, and in the same motion Cross went to slash it across Luko's chest. His orders were not to kill the man, but if it came to it, he could. Cross disliked killing unless he was ordered to do so. He saw himself as a puppet, and had no problems with his style of life. Of course, he always ran into those people who tried to differ him from his way of living. They never lasted too long. Those were usually the ones he went to deliver these kinds of messages to.

Luko waited for the message, only to find that this man was no messenger at all. Was this an assassination attempt? He drew his sword and blocked the kunai. It'd been a while since he'd been in a fight. The forest had been quiet lately. He should have known trouble would be brewing sooner or later. "You have something against me?" Luko asked as he held his blade steady.

Cross showed no expression of shock or anything similar when the Rogue Clan Leader blocked his attack. He simply held the kunai against Luko's sword, and almost cracked a smile as the man asked if he had something against him. "No. As I said, I am simply a messenger," he stated, pulling back from the older man's blade, then twisting and aiming a kick at Luko's side.
