There wasn't week that went by where Kris didn't find himself in a fight with a ninja. No matter how badly injured he may have gotten the week before, he was always ready for another ninja to come passing by. It was what he did now. Though really, he could use a challenge every now and then. He could always go into the Unknown, but that was no fun, and certainly no fair. After all, he could get ambushed by anything in there. There weren't any humans in there, just monsters. And many of them were probably stupid. It was no fun fighting a stupid opponent.
Kris walked through the forest with his trident strapped to his back, as was usual. That thing was his pride and joy. His own design. Granted, he didn't build it, but he got the best smith in the Stealth to build it for him about seven years back. The thing was damn near unbreakable. And it was a great tool to implement with jutsu. But enough about that. Kris had gotten into a fight with a ninja the day before, and hadn't come out too badly scathed. Turned out it wasn't a ninja from the Vallies, but rather from some random village down in the south. Oh, it had been a good fight, but nothing extraordinary.
Right now, however, Kris fancied a swim. It had been a while, so why not. There was even a specific lake in the Rogue Forest that he'd found. Well, it wasn't a lake, persay, more like a large pond. Either way the water was always cold. Being the middle of summer, Kris was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts, so when he arrived at the pond, he put his trident by a tree and put a cloaking genjutsu on it before taking his shirt off and jumping into the pond with no hesitation. He stayed under for a few moments before coming up and blinking the water from his eyes. It was mid afternoon and it was quite hot out, so it was the perfect day for a swim. Floating on his back with his hands behind his head, he idly kicked his feet and looked up at the clouds. There were only a few, and they all looked like cotton candy, really. The cloaking jutsu on his trident had only been a precaution, he didn't actually expect for anyone to come stumbling by.
