Deita walked slowly up to the Kage's office. One of the kids in the orphanage had told him that the leader of the valley wanted to see him and that she was called the Kage. He hoped that the girl hadn't been just picking on him again, or this would be incredibly embarrassing. Half of himself hidden behind the doorframe shyly, Deita knocked three times and looked at the lady behind the desk. "E-excuse me, Ms. Kage? Someone told me you wanted to see me," he said quietly. He'd never met the kage before and was really nervous about it. He was quite literally dragged to the orphanage a few weeks ago by a man who found him outside the gates of the stealth, thinking that he was just an orphan kid who was trying to escape the valley. He'd never actually thought he'd meet the leader of the valley. It had shocked him when he found out there was a leader at all. In his village, there were only village elders, never one singular leader.

Kenjiro raised his head from his own desk at the side,stopping the stamping to see who it was.He walked to the door,surprised it was a child."Um,you're hear to see the kage?Hold on,I'll see if she can see you at the moment,"he told him.Being the kage's assistant,he had to do these things."Tenkuu,you have a visitor,"he told her.

Tenkuu had been working. She had alot of things to do today, but that was okay with her. She liked her job. When Kenjiro told her that she had a visitor she gave a small smile. "Send 'em in," she said. She then looked up to see who it was.

Kenjiro nodded and went back to the door,opening it fully."Come on in,"he said,smiling warmly before going back to his seat.He continued his work without fail.

Deita looked shyly at the man who came to the door to let him in, then followed him into the room quietly. "Uhm, Ms. Kage, someone told me you wanted to see me," he said quietly, looking straight at her. He was taught that it was rude not to make eye contact wiht his superiors.

Tenkuu looked at the boy and gave him a warm smile. "You must be Deita," she said. "I'm Ms. Tenkuu." She then gave a small motion for him to come forward. "Take a seat," she said. "I just wanted to speak with you is all." She'd requested he be sent to her when the time was avaliable.

Deita swallowed and walked towards the desk, taking a seat as he was told. Why would she want to talk with me? he thought nervously. Then he almost had a panic attack as he remembered that he'd come into the valley without permission. Was she going to kick him out? He tried not to look down as he spoke to her, but it was hard because of how nervous he was now. "W...what'd you want to speak to me about?" he asked quietly.

Tenkuu smiled. He looked so nervous. She'd have to find something for him to snack on or something. She had to remember he was just a kid. She was so used to dealing with older ninja. "You're not in trouble," she said. "I just wanted to make sure evrything was going well, since you came into the village," she said. Her eyes were bright as she asked. She then pushed her seat back from the desk and stood up going over to a small fridge. "Would you like something to snack on," she asked kindly.

Deita relaxed slightly as she said he wasn't in trouble. But then he started thinking, what else could she want to talk to him about? He was relieved to find out that she only wanted to know how things've been going for him. He shook his head as she asked him if he'd like someting to snack on. "No thank you," he said quietly. "Things've been....okay since I've come here," he said, finally breaking eye contect and looking down. He decided it would be better if he left out the part where the older kids at the orphanage made him do their chores. He hated thinking of vengance, but he'd get them back one day.

Tenkuu nodded as she headed back to her chair. "That's good to hear," she said as she sat down. But something bothered her. Deita had been holding eye-contact with her so well, but now he seemed to be hiding something. Atleast, she was picking up some kind of emotion, but it was too weak for her to determine fully. She didn't like pressing people, but she wanted to make sure he was having no problems. "Is school going well," she asked taking a different appraoch.

Deita looked back at her, his eyes suddenly alight at the mention of the academy. He nodded with a smile. "Absolutely. I never thought that a school in the vallies could be so interesting!" he said louder than he normally did. He suddenly fell silent and looked back down, the smile fading from his face. "I'm sorry," he said quietly again. "I...I didn't mean to get so excited..." In his village, it was considered quite rude to get excited over a simple question like that. He'd had to apologize for it. He also realized that he'd mentioned he wasn't from the vallies to begin with. He hoped she hadn't picked that up.

Tenkuu couuldn't help but smile. "Don't be sorry," she said with bright eyes. "I'm glad that you're enjoying the Academy," she said trutthfully. "Besides, you should enjoy life, be as excited as you can be." She said. "Because here in the Stealth we're very much lively."

Deita looked back up at her and gave a small smile. Ms. Tenkuu was quite nice. Much nicer than most other ladies in his home. "I've noticed that," he said with a small laugh. "The people here are very nice too."

Tenkuu smiled. "That's very nice to hear," she said. "Um, Deita, have you gotten a full view of the village yet," she asked. "I mean like being able to look over it." She wanted to know because everyone deserved a chance to the village from above because the view was wonderful, and for the simple fact that she'd possibly be able to ask him to the Life Festival this week.

Deita looked at her, shaking his head at her question. "No m'aam, I've been...kinda busy since I've came here," he said quietly with a small smile. "Why?" He couldn't help but wonder what the point of her question was, but somehow he figured that he'd find out soon enough.

Tenkuu stood up and headed for the door. "Well, you're about to get the best view of the village," she said kindly. Follow me." She then opened the door nodded to the guards and headed for the stairs that lead to the top of the building. When at the top she went to the railing and smiled. You could see the entire village. It wasn't hidden like most villages. It was open, because any ninja that wasn't trained in the Stealth Valley wouldn't be quick enough to avoid the lookouts. "How is it?" she asked.

Deita nodded shyly and followed Tenkuu, as he was told. He followed Tenkuu past the guards and to the railings, the whole way wondering where they were going. His eyes widened and his mouth nearly dropped open as he looked over the rail. "It's beautiful," he said quietly. His village had never had anything like this.... "And you can come up here whenever you want?" he asked quietly.

Tenkuu continued to look out over the village. "Yep," she said. "I come here once a month," she said quietly. "Just to get a reminder of how great the view is, or when I'm feeling down." Tenkuu shrugged and pulled herself up onto the railing. "How about you come to the Life Festival," she said. "It'll be held in the village at the end of the month. It's really great, and fun." She smiled. "How about it?"

Deita looked around at the great view of the stealth valley, trying to make sure he remembered all he saw. It'd help him get around, should he get lost. He looked at Tenkuu as she asked if he wanted to go to the Life Festival and smiled. "Sure," he said quietly. "What goes on at the Festival?"

"Well, we celebrate everything during the life festival. The people of the past, present, and the future," she said. "It's like a big day off for everyone. We eat, drink, play games, have a giant picnic. Give gifts. And everything's free." Tenkuu smiled/ She remembered he first life festival. She felt so energetic. "I think you'll like it. Just stop by my office on the 28th and we'll go together after I pick up my neice." Tenkuu sighed silently. There was so much crazy stuff going on lately that she needed something like this.


(It's a shame that the Akatsuki tore down the building so she'll never see this sight again until they finish rebuilding it. And Deita joined them!)
