Serenity looked towards the kitchen as he said that it'd been a while. She didn't know what had happened between the two of them and quite frankly she wasn't sure that she wanted to know. When he came back in then said sorry and that he was doing something, she shrugged with a smile. "It's okay," she said. She was glad that things were going smoothly between the two of them. She wouldn't bring up that he hadn't come over in a while. It would only depress the mood.

"You know, I still haven't taken you to the resteraunt," he mentioned. "Maybe we can head over there, or we can just chill out here and catch up. Since I haven't been around your place like usual." (He never fails) "It's really up to you. If you're not hungry then okay. I'm just saying because I'm off is all." Felix gave a shrug. Either way he'd be perfectly fine. No that was a lie, he'd much rather be in the house. It was nearly two o'clock and he headn't left the house not once in the past three days.

Serenity looked at him as he said that he still hadn't taken her to the restaurant. Normally she would've never turned it down, but she wasn't really all that hungry. She smiled when he said that they could just sit there and chill and catch up. That actually sounded nice to her. "Actually, I'm really not all that hungry," she said with a smile. "Thank you though," she said. Maybe they'd be able to go some other time. What was she thinking, of course they'd be able to go some other time. They had all the time in the world. Literally. (when's the plot starting?)

Felix was okay with her answer. It wouldn't be any good if they weren't hungry. He leaned back against the couch. "Things sure have been different lately," he mumbled. That wasn't suppose to be said aloud. It sort of slipped. He looked at her with a smirk. "You know, their's suppose to be a carnival or something going on today, care to go?" He asked. A crowded place would be safe. Felix hated this feeling. The feeling of having to watch his back every few seconds. Immortal or not, dead was watching him carefully, very carefully.

Serenity looked at him with her head tilted in curiosity as he said that things had been different lately. "What do you mean?" she asked. She wondered if he'd really meant to say that aloud. When he said that there was supposed to be a carnival today she couldn't help but smile when he asked if she wanted to go. "Sure," she said with that same smile. She hadn't been to a carnival since....well, since the last time Felix had taken her, really.

Felix looked at Serenity was as she did the one thing he'd rather not have had her do. Ask him about what he'd just said. "Nothing really, but it just seems weird not being over your place like normal. And tthen, this just doesn't feel like home." Felix shook his head. "Anyway, that's not important, let's get going." He grinned and took her by the hand and started out the door. Walking to the carnival he looked up. It was an okay day despite the fact that it was winter. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen.

Serenity looked at him as he explained. He was right, it was a little weird, her being over his house. She wondered why he said that this house didn't feel like home. She blinked when he said that it wasn't important then took her by the hand and started out the door. A small shade of red crossed her face. She still wasn't used to his taking her by the hand at random. It was....not exactly a Felix-like trait, but he'd been doing it rather often. She wasn't going to complain about it or anything of course. When they were nearing the carnival, Serenity couldn't help but smile when a thought hit her. "There sure are a lot of people here. Normally you like to avoid crowded places, don't you?" she asked Felix with a smile. She wondered why the change so suddenly.

Felix grinned and shook his head. "I can't avoid everyone," he said. "And it's not for me, it's for you, the carnival that is." He couldn't tell her the truth. She'd try and get involved. This was the best he could do for the moment. Being home was dangerous as well. There was no safe place. He shook his head and entered the gates. People were everywhere, laughing and playing. "Where to first?" He asked.

Serenity shrugged when he said he couldn't avoid everyone. That was very true. She smiled a bit brightly when he said this was for her and not for him anyways. She wanted to do something just for him one of these times, he did way too much for her, whether he knew it or not. She looked around as he asked where to first. "Ferris wheel," she said with a smile. It was always the first thing she went on whenever she went to fairs, just so that she could see the whole place and get a good idea of where she wanted to go after. She didn't realize that it was the same thing they'd went on first the last time they'd gone to the carnival, and she hoped that he wouldn't mention anything about the height, because she didn't feel like explaining, she just wanted to have fun.

Felix looked at Serenity as she said the Ferris Wheel. Wasn't that what they went on last time? He shrugged. "Alright." He didn't see how she went on Ferris Wheels when she was scared of heights. It was kind of sad. He grinned. "Come on then," he told her. He paid for the ride and then let her get in before he did. Felix looked off the side as they went up.

Serenity looked at him with a smile as he said alright. When she got on, she looked at him curiously as she thought of something. "Hey Felix, do you have a favorite food?" she asked. Since he didn't have a favorite color, she wondered if he had a favorite food. If he did, she was definitely going to make it for him. It was funny how Felix didn't seem to have an opinion on much. She really hoped he had a favorite food, because she didn't really know about anything Felix liked besides swimming.

Felix looked over at her. "Do I have a favorite food? I'm not sure." He looked off the side as they got to the top. "Yeah, I do, I like Onigiri with pickled plums in the center." He said with a small grin. Just the thought of it made him feel a bit better. He didn't even think to ask why she'd asked him such a question out of the blue.

Serenity looked at him with a smile as he stated off him favorite food. It was certainly unique, but she'd be sure to make it for him next time he came over. She already knew how to make onigiri, so all she'd have to do would be to get the food items for it. She looked off the side of the ferris wheel when they were approaching the top, looking around at all the different attractions. Something caught her eye though and made her frown. (gonna add my own little twist here) It was a person, she couldn't tell whether it was man or woman from that distance, in a long black coat, with a fedora hat, looking up at the two of them. Well, he could've been just looking at the ferris wheel as a whole, but something told Serenity he was looking at them. After a moment, the person broke their gaze and walked away. Serenity blinked. "How odd," she said under her breath. She wondered if Felix had noticed.

Felix wasn't aware that someone was starring up at them. He didn't even know Serenity was starring back. Only when Serenity said that something was odd did he pay attention. "Huh? What's odd?" He asked. His blue eyes plain, but his heart was slowly picking up it's speed. What if something was about to happen. Something that would put Serenity in danger. He should have sent her away when she came over. Made up an excuse that he was busy, anything.

Serenity blinked and looked at Felix as he asked what was odd. So he hadn't seen. She gave a small shrug. "Well it could've been my imagination, but I could've sworn that one of the people down there had been staring at it. It's probably nothing though," she told him with a smile. She was probably just being paranoid. She looked back over the side of the ferris wheel and started looking around to where she wanted to go next.

Felix eyes narrowed slightly. "That is odd," he said. Felix looked down into the crowd searching for anyone suspicious. He saw nothing. The crowds were working to their advantage as well. As the ride came to an end Felix go off and waited for Serenity. "Where to next?" He asked. Not to far from them was a woman playing a Japanese Koto. There was another woman dancing to the music.

Serenity only shrugged as Felix said that is was odd. "Like I said, it was probably nothing, they could've just been looking at the farris wheel as a whole," she told him with a smile. When the ride ended, Serenity got off after Felix, and looked around. She had seen something that she really wanted to see up close, she just had to remember where it was. When she did remember and Felix asked where to next, she smiled and took his hand. "Come on," she said, going in the direction of the dancer and the koto player. She always loved watching performances like this. It reminded her of the ones that her and Liora used to do, especially since on occasion, instead of singing, Serenity would play the koto, or would have someone else do so, while she sung and Liora danced. She smiled brightly as she watched the dancer.

Felix sighed as she dragged him along. When they arrived at the little performance he didn't find it interesting. He just looked at Serenity. When the performance was done the Koto player looked up. Her long hair flowing around her shoulders. "Thank you," she said softly to the watchers. She bowed lightly and the dancer followed her lead. Both came up at the same time. "Would someone like to join us?" Asked the dancer. She caught Serenity's gaze and gave a smile. "How about you, you look like someone with a singing voice." Felix was now looking at the two girls his eyes icy.

Serenity blinked as the girl who was playing the Koto caught her gaze. She couldn't help but look a bit embarrassed as the girl said that she looked like she had a singing voice, and asked if she wanted to join. "Um...I don't know," she said almost quietly. She was truly unsure. She hadn't sung for a crowd in who knew how long. She looked at Felix. "What do you think? Should I?" she asked. She could tell that something was wrong. Perhaps he just hadn't liked the performance? She wasn't sure, but she knew that look in his eyes and it told her that something was wrong.

The koto girl stood up, her yellow kimono contrasting with the weather. The dancer was smiling lightly. Felix looked at Serenity as she asked his opinion. For the first time he was about to voice it when the Koto girl took Serenity by the arm. "No need to ask your boyfriend," she giggled. "It'll be fun." She tugged on Serenity's arm, making the girl walk to the tent. "We have to make you pretty before you go on." The dancer stepped infront of Felix as he went to protest. "She's in safe hands."

Serenity didn't know if Felix was about to say something or not, when the Koto player started pulling her towards the tent. "B-boyfriend?" she said, turning a bit red at that single word. I guess I don't have much of a choice, she thought, feeling nervous. When the girl took her into the tent, Serenity looked at her. "What am I going to be singing though?" she asked, clearly nervous.

The Koto Girl smiled. "Well, we'll have to dicuss that while I work on your apperance," she said as she sat down Serenity. "My name is Rin," she said. "My friend outside is Toki." Rin looked at Serenity's hair and then got herself a few combs. She started on Serenity's hair. "What do you like to sing?" She asked. "I can play almost anything."

Felix eyes were on the tent. He couldn't stop thinking about the song that had just been played. He was sure that he'd heard it from somewhere, but where? He tried thinking back but the dancer, Toki had wrapped her arms around his waist. "You're cute," she whispered and laid her head on his chest. "That wasn't really your girlfriend was it?"

Serenity looked at her as she said that they'd have to discuss it and nodded. "I haven't sung for a crowd in a long time...." she said almost quietly. "Serenity," she said with a smile as the girl introduced herself as Rin. Serenity shrugged when she asked what Serenity liked to sing. "I can sing just about anything at any voice range, but I'm better at the slower songs," she told Rin with a smile. This girl had definitely pegged Serenity right, she was a singer by nature.

Rin started to work on Serenity's hair, placing the combs where they best fitted. "Well, if that's the case, I've picked a good singer. We usually play slow music." Rin's bright green eyes shinned. "Have you ever heard of a song called Sakaru Drops?" Rin asked. She turned Serenity around in the chair and handed her a mirror. Going over to a tall wardrobe she opened it. "Favorite color?" She asked.

Felix pushed Toki away. "She's not my girlfriend, but that doesn't mean I'm looking for someone." He crossed his arms. Toki backed away. "Well, sorry if I offended you," she said turning around. "I guess I'll go check on those two. See you when we come out, Silver." She walked into the tent. "I do love your hair," she told Serenity.

Serenity nodded as Rin asked if she'd ever heard of a song called Sakura Drop. "It's one of my favorites," she admitted. Serenity took the mirror as it was given to her and looked at her hair, her eyes lighting up. "Wow, it looks amazing," she said with a smile. "You really are good at this," she said with the same smile. When Rin asked her favorite color, Serenity looked over to her. "Pink," she said. She looked to the tent opening as Toki came in, still wearing a smile. "Thank you," she said at her comment on Serenity's hair. These girls seemed very nice.
