Deita cringed over slightly when he was punched in the stomach, coughing once. It hadn't hurt as bad as Deita was letting on. And well...that was mostly because, compared to punches from Deidara, Kazuma may have well been poking him. Quickly recovering his breath, Deita brought his sword up in a slash instead this time. Aimed right at Kazuma's chest. Deita probably wasn't going to kill Kazuma, unless it was by accident. He just wanted to get payback for being picked on like that. He wasn't weak anymore.

Kazuma had to jump back, but that didn't stop the sword from cutting across his shirt. He'd miscalculated the distance. It wouldn't happen again. The kunai from earlier still in his hand, he threw it at Deita and with as much concentration as he could muster, he pulled the ice from it's flat surface to form icicles behind Deita in case the guy tried to back away.

(What? It could happen. *shrug*)

Deita wondered if he had enough static stored up from earlier to use a lot of it in this fight. Of course, climbing the mountain all day might've discharged quiet a lot of it. But using the electrical currents that ran through his body would very likely make his reaction times slower. Clearly there wouldn't be much electricity in this fight. He'd have to make it count. Of course...if he used his clones to gather static...and his own clothes as well...Deita blockec the kunai with his sword and stepped back a couple times at the recoil, only to feel several sharp pains in different spots on his back. Blinking, Deita looked over his shoulder to see icicles. "How..." he started lightly. While he seemed to be distracted, one of his clones up in the tree had started a jutsu, and sent a stream of flames at Kazuma. And if it missed him, it would at least melt the ice on the ground. Either way it was a plus-plus for Deita.

Kazuma had never in his life manipulated that much ice. Little stuff was okay, but pounds of ice was not within his range. It showed psychically and he regretted having done so, but it had left Deita distracted, so it was perfectly fine by him. Unfortunately, Kazuma didn't see the flames until after they hit him. He was knocked across the ice and that was were he lay recovering. The ice melted where it'd been hit by the fire. Get up, Kazuma, he told himself. Get up and finish this fight. Easier said than done. Kazuma could feel where he'd been burned by the flames. A dead on attack like that did some damage. Where did it come from?

Deita couldn't help but smile when he saw tht his attack had worked. And to think, he had three more clones hiding, aside from the one that had just attacked. But now Deita was in some serious pain. Those icicles had been no joke. It would really be easier to just leave them in, but each movement made a shockwave of pain go through him. Deciding to end this while Kazuma was still on the ground, Deita rubbed his hand over the sleeve of his shirt a couple times then took out a kunai. Using his chakra, he pulled the static he'd accumulated just then and stuck it onto the blade of the kunai before throwing it at the ground where Kazuma was lying. With melted ice around him. Of course, Deita moved onto solid ice before doing so. No reason for him to get shocked too.

Kazuma didn't know what Deita was doing, but when he heard the kunai, he rolled out the way towards solid, unfrozen ground. Sitting up, he watched the sparks. The kid had tried to electrocute him. Kazuma got to his feet and looked at Deita. "What village were you from?" He asked as he started to close the distance between him and the other Akatsuki. Deita seemed to do perfectly fine with close combat, and Kazuma was better at long ranged attacks because he could use all sorts of Snow Style techniques. He wouldn't use that advantage right now though. He has to recover first, and find where that attack had come from. The side for sure, somewhere in the trees, but Kazuma couldn't go over there to handle what may have been a clone. He'd just have to be on his guard. Pulling out a kunai he motioned for Deita to come at him.

Deita frowned when his attack missed. Sure he could build up static himself, but it was a pain unless he already had a bit built up on his clothes and what not. "The Lunar Village," he answered. It had been over two years since his home had been destroyed. It wouldn't be a surprise if Kazuma didn't know about it. After all, it never made much contact with the Vallies, and was relatively self sufficient. "You're from the Snow, right?" he asked. That's when it hit him. Deita paused and blinked, turning his gaze on the puddle of water that his fire jutsu had melted. Suddenly he smiled brightly. "I-I got it!" he exclaimed happily, laughing a bit. "Alright, awesome!" He was nearly bouncing up and down. "All right, I wanna finish this quick to I can go and write this down!" He laughed. He'd finally figured out what his style was going to be. Nothing at all! Deita pulled a kunai with a tag on it and threw it at Kazuma, but a moment before it got too close, Deita quickly turned his head and closed his eyes a moment before the tag produced a blinding flash as well as a bang. Deita's clones took that moment to bombard Kazuma with attacks. One of them sent another fire attack, another threw several electrified shuriken, the other one used a fire jutsu and aimed it to melt all the ice, and the last one threw several senbon. However, while all that was happening, Deita was forcing his chakra into his sword. It was about time to put this fight to an end. Deita was pleased with how well he was fighting today, but of course, this was only a kid of his own age group. There were ninja plenty stronger out there.

Kazuma had never heard of the Lunar Village. In fact he was now curious as to where this village was located and what the people there were like. When Deita suddenly started talking about how he was going to write something down, Kazuma's facial expression showed he was confused. "What?" No time for questions, he was soon blinded by a bright light. Kazuma heard the roaring of fire and the first thing he did was pull a cover of water over him to block it, until he felt several shuriken fly past him and then a jolt run through him. Kazuma almost dropped the water shield, but willed it to form into slushy snow and then to ice. He had to take it step by step because he had no idea what was going on. He couldn't see anything. When the attacks stopped Kazuma dropped the ice cover. Standing up straight he looked at Deita. "You placed clones out when you used the smoke bomb? That's not a bad method." He crossed his arms behind his head. "If you want to call it a quits, then we can. I didn't really want to fight you, I just wanted something to do. And since you have something to write down, you should do that before you forget it. Besides, I too have something to record."

Deita blinked when he saw Kazuma put up a veil of water, avoiding most of the attacks. That wasn't any fun, that barrage should have worked! Deita nearly pouted, but he was still too hyped up at the idea he'd thought of. Though when Kazuma complimented him on his technique, his smile widened. He nodded eagerly when Kazuma said they could call it quits. "Kay thanks! I'm not mad at you anymore, but we should fight again!" he said happily. Yeah, Deita was like that. He could be pissed off one minute and completely enthused the next. "See you later!" he said quickly as he ran inside the hideout. He couldn't wait to write this down!

Kazuma felt a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Deita was one weird kid. "See ya around," he said. He gave a sigh as Deita disappeared into the Hideout. Kazuma fell back into the slushy snow and stared up at the sky. It reminded him of home on a day where the Snow had stopped and the sun had come up to warm everything up a bit. Kazuma missed that part of his life, but nothing else. He closed his eyes. "I'm so freaking tired I could sleep for a month, maybe even a year." He started to laugh. This wasn't half bad.
