*Taking a stroll out out along the roads though the hills he appears completely unarmed he walks casually he hums quietly to himself as he rummages though his flak jacket for a cigarette which he pulls out. frowning slightly at the crumpled nearly ripped mess of a smoke and places it on his lips. pulling out a match he strikes it with his thumb and lights it up pulling on it.*

Kymir had left the Death to venture into the valley. Being Kage was a job he enjoyed, but everyone needed a break. The peace that had washed over the lands for nearly two decades had left everyone feeling safe, but the Death Kage was always on his toes. Peace never lasted very long. The white haired male walked with his hands in his pockets, eyes curious as he spotted a man walking by. His clothing looked similar to that of the Magma, but from this distance the guy couldn't really tell. Kymir hadn't cared to much for the village where the magma constantly flowed. No, he cared only for his own village. His yellow eyes glowed lightly as he approached the guy. "Are you from the Magma?"

*looking up at the man whom he has apparently not noticed he examines him wearly.* yes.. I am *he stops walking and watches the man sensing a fair bit of power from him and does nothing to prvoke him to use such powers* judging by your outfit id say your from the death valley.

Kymir grins. Was this guy nervous. He was fairly amused by this. "Indeed I am. Best village in the valley's." He gave a low laugh. "Kymir Cloud, Kage of the Death, who are you," he asked as he extended his hand to shake. Kymir wasn't here to start fights or anything. He was just being friendly. The half wolf could sense danger miles away and this guy was no threat, yet. "How your homeland," he asked. "Anything interesting happening over there? Kira's still the Kage, right?" He hadn't seen the neko in a very long time.

*Eyeing his demeanor he relaxes a bit but keeps on guard very subtly the sand on the path moves then stops, he offers Kymir a firm handshake and a respectful bow* It is an honor to meet the Shoutenkage himself. My name is Koriyama Namikaze, And yes, Kira is still magmakage so far as I am aware... no one has seen her in a while... *pulls a drag off of the cigarette the ash falls lazily to the ground, he exhales the smoke quite intentionally away from Kymir.*  I assume shes just been busy with official matters. *shrugs halfheartedly* the Magma is well and I will refrain from unintentionally slighting you by claiming it is superior lord Kymir. *his eyes are gentle but he gives a smug grin*

As for myself, I am in a state of limbo as is, I've had no orders in sometime and i have been expecting to either take on Genin or to be assigned to ANBU for a while. *shakes his head a bit* but it can't be helped if Lady Kira is busy so what is a shinobi to do...

Kymir's amusement never faltered. "I wouldn't call it an honor. I'm just another ninja striving to do my best." He had grown up with the previous Kage, so he didn't think it was that great. It was a bit strange that he had even bothered taking over after Kazuya. The white haired male shrugged it off, watching the cigarette. He didn't care too much for cigarettes. "At a time of peace I find it difficult to stay busy. Kira must enjoy work." He chuckled lightly before he tilted his head. "How old are you anyway? Can't be much younger than myself, surely?" He was curious because this guy was probably only a kid when the wars were happening. So much blood had been spilled. So much tragedy. Kymir shook his head. "Ha, I must admit, they held strong during the war, but I express great pride in my village." He always had and always would. "ANBU? You are a jonin then? ANBU is a pretty high position. Dangerous and important. I admire your ambition."

I would much rather be a teacher than a black ops agent but i will do what is required of me regardless* I am 22 the blood I've spilt is nothing compared to that which my parents spilled... they
remind me infrequently of the terrors of war and why I should never want for such times.... *he puts the cigarette out on the heel of his sandal and crumples the filter putting it into his pocket* even so. my folks where not even on the very front line at least not often. Kekken Genkai are fairly well protected and our clan is intensely small compared to some.

"A loyal ninja will always make it in life. I hope that Kira is bright enough to see your determination and loyalty. It will serve her village well." His yellow eyes remained focused as Koriyama spoke of his age and the blood his family had spilled. "They are right to do so. I'm only a few years older than you and I had to fight as a child. Everyone had to fight. It was not something to be proud of and we lost a lot of great shinobi." He sighed. "Let's not talk about war." He looked out across the open fields. They were almost endless like those of the Stealth. A beautiful village that his aunt was once Kage of and before her his grandmother. Both of which were unaware of his existence up until his day. "Kekkei Genkai? Care to demonstrate?"

*nods and presses his hand to the ground and and pulls it away sand drawing with his hand it holds in the shape of a Kunai for a moment before the granules of said seem to melt and expand bonding in a crystalline structure and forming into solid glass kunai. it olny glows red for a moment before cooling and being as clear as well... glass* normally a glass knife would be a silly weapon but it is infused with chakra so it is quite strong. *tosses it gently catching it by the blade and offers it to kymir handle first* i can make pretty much any simple shape with little effort complex shapes can take lots of time things with moving parts are limited to objects that are rigid. so no bows or things that require flexibility.

Kymir's yellow eyes remained attentive as the guy demonstrated his kekkei genkai. It was something he had never had the pleasure of witnessing. The formation of the kunai using sand and turning it into glasses seemed as though it were time consuming, but Kymir could also see the usefulness of the blood trait. He took the kunai and examined it. "Very useful," he commented lightly. "In combat and as something that could be used for decor. I apologize if that sounds as if I am degrading your skills, I just find it tasteful in the concept of art." He handed the blade back to Koriyama. "It is good your clan stayed off the frontlines. Blood traits are important. It is a shame for them to cease to exist."

*nods* not all where kept off the front line. they where more of a sparring front line. its not as slow as you think i was working for more detail with the speed you saw. *nods* my family does in fact use it for finance seeing as it doesn't harm our lungs to form the glass we are for most for glassware in our village if not in all villages. in combat i can make up to 10 fully formed kunai every 30 seconds. *nods* tell me Lord Shoutenkage... what is your weapon of preference?

"As expected. It would be difficult to worry about detail in a fight. A very nice talent, nonetheless." Kymir calculated in his head. Ten kunai every thirty seconds. The kid must have been doing this for a while. Kymir himself had no special kekkai genkai. He really didn't know his family. "Kymir is fine," he told Koriyama when the guy addressed him formally. "And I can't say I have much of a preference when it comes to weapons. I'm half wolf, so I prefer to fight like that." His yellow eyes were unblinking.

I see well i have something to offer you then come *he waves the Kage to follow him as he looks for the perfect pile of sand* I take it you are are more of a Taijutsu user I take it then Lord ShoutenKage?
certainly there's always room for improvement. *he holds a hand out and one might notice if there where playing close attention that grains of sand where following them but it seems the grains are selectively moving only certain types colors and sizes roll or float along* i though about what it would be like to be Kage... but im not nearly strong enough *smiles shaking his head gently* but to be acknowledged on such a level would be a wonderful thing.

Kymir follows without hesitation. The yellow eyed male seems pretty laid back, but he's also careful. He always is. He knew the dangers of this world, but he would never forget them, even in a time of peace. The wolf in him said that danger was always lurking. Kymir thought for a moment. "I suppose so." He didn't care much for ninjutsu or genjutsu. He like to fight without pause. Or he would rather tear people to shreds in his wolf form. Even now he longed to change and run across the open land. "Being a Kage is more than just power. You have to earn the respect of your village. You must know what decisions to make, even when it's a last minute decision. War will not always plague the land, so you must interact with your people, bestow trust within them, and above all, respect their wishes. As Kage your job is to serve and to protect." He looked at the young male's hand. "There's always room for improvement."

*He stopped as a large pile of the darkest grains of sand rolls into a pile. Begins signing and places his palms into the pile infusing them with a large amount of chakra* okay and this is going to sound weird... and I ask you trust me... please place your ands into the pile. *nods gently* i assure you this won't hurt. It will be a little surprising.

Kymir looked at the sand and then to Koriyama who was requesting his trust. I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't...But he's not of my village either. "I'll trust you," he said calmly. "But if you cross me, I'll not be forgiving." He placed his hand on the sand, his yellow eyes narrow. He really hated surprises, but he wouldn't say that aloud.

your allowd to rip out my throat if im lying. *the sand immediately latches on to his hands crawling up his arms taking shape around them the pressure on his hands is taught but not harmful he would feel as if hes being held down the sand begins to go red hot and melt into shape however it isn't burning his hands as it forms the pressure subsides to a comfortable fit they shape out to smokey crystal clawed gauntlets the tips of which are intensely keen the glass is barely see though it is so dense and chakra infused, the fingers are fully articulate on both hands* those are nearly as strong as steel except they wont go dull *smiles at him* consider them not only a gift from me but a gift from the magma *bows to him*

Why did that thought seem so enticing? The white haired male almost smirked. He allowed the sand to move over his bare arms. His yellow eyes watchful and for a moment he questioned the intent of this action. It was only after he viewed the end result did he find himself impressed. "Well, well, these are quite nice.  I must say I'm impressed." He raised a brow when told that it was a gift from the other shinobi and the Magma as well. "Thank you kindly, sir."

It is a pleasure to make a friend from another village *smiles* I havent been out of the village in some time so I'm almost certain my folks will lose it when i tell them I made friends with the kage of death. *continues walking* so what do you do to keep busy in these times of peace? as you say you get bored with the political stuff right? from what I am told you aren't much for being cooped up in an office. frankly I'm surprised to accepted on that alone.

Kymir grinned. "You have heard the truth. I rarely bother with staying in the office," he says as he falls into step next to Koriyama. "I usually only bother with politics when it comes to treaties from much smaller villages, trade routes, and things that directly affect the village." He waved his hand dismissively. "I don't like sitting in long meetings, unless it's a Kage's meeting, which is important." He looked up at the sky. "I usually just walk around the village or go hunting in the Rogue Forest. The Unknown is a nice spot too, but I don't often go there. My last visit meant spending almost six hours there when in real time I was only there for an hour. The time is really strange there. Always changing, unpredictable, and endless. It's a bit of a thrill, but I try to keep my villagers from going there unless their high ranked. It's far too dangerous." There was a small pause before he spoke again. "That and I don't like the office. It's too small. I'm a wolf. I need my space. I like to run and be free, even if I'm only half wolf." He shrugged. He didn't mind being honest.

*nods* if my folks had there way id hangup my headband and return with them to the shop making pretty things out of glass. *shakes his head* that might be alright for them they fought in the war and
they where ready to relax and live normally but i am a shinobi. and i want to help my village help other people and do stuff if it means i have to risk my life at some point its a small price to pay. *smiles looking up at the sky* I've never been to the unknown... kira has made a point of stressing how dangerous it is to go there..

Kymir would never give up the life of a ninja. He had nothing but his shinobi way. The young Kage could understand Koriyama's feelings. "War can be tiring. Before this peace, there was so much of it. The Akatsuki, civil wars, village wars. It was so hectic. I'd never imagined things could be so peaceful. No one thought the day would come." He glanced at the other shinobi. "It is dangerous. There's too many enemies. You can't track your way back to the exit gates. It's like an endless maze. She is right to warn you all."

*nods* ive considered going in there. but never managed enough courage to go in. im still fairly young... i do want to get married someday and have kids *smiles gently looking up at the sky* its why i want to teach rather than join the ANBU but as i said before i will do what I am asked it is my duty.

Kymir laughed. It was genuine too. "That shouldn't stop you from having a little adventure. The Unknown isn't all that bad. You might get a few scars, but I hear that attracts the ladies," he teased. Kymir didn't care for raising a family. He had enough family without adding on to it. Kazuya was all the family he would ever need. Always had been. The half wolf glanced at the younger male. "Someone has undying loyalty. That's a good thing and I wish you luck in finding a wife and having kids. I'm sure you'll make a great dad and a great sensei as well. Like I said, the Magma is lucky to have such a loyal ninja. I respect that and if our treaties were ever to falter and we were to meet in battle, I would expect nothing less than a fight I would never forget." Yellow eyes gleamed in the sunlight. Kymir meant what he said. He had very little respect for a lot of people, but Koiryama had just earned his.

I pray that never happens. *he put his hand in his pocket and looked at the ground.* i don't like the idea of fighting a friend he closes his eyes breifly looking up at the Shoten Kage his gaze was proud* but if it came to that. i wouldn't hold back in a fight with you... beacuse it would be an insult to you, your station and our friendship. *he smile more gently turning and extending his hand to the death kage* I would hope our friendship will never come to such trials, i would much rather fight beside you than against you.
