Kinaga patted it on the head and looked at Rumiko. "I'm guessing he was your reason for setting all those traps, right?" Kinaga looked over towards the lake. Even from here, you could see the glow of the moon off it.

Rumiko smiled lightly. "Sort of," he said as Isaac licked Unabara then took off running down the open then coming back. "That and the fact that I didn't know who you were until you used that jutsu." He said standing up staright. Trust....right...

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "Ah, right, I forgot that little detail," he said, smiling. "So, you recognize my jutsu already? That's good, that could help in a mission someday."

Rumiko smiled. "Yeah," he said. "So sensei, what now?" He asked. He looked around wondering what was going to happen now.

Kinaga smiled. "I'll take your idea and say, how bout we go down to the lake? The moon's full and I can see the glow from even here."

"Sure," Rumiko said qhistling to Isaac who ran to the lake. Rumiko followed a bit slower waiting for Unabara. He then sat down near the edge and watched the water.

Kinaga walked up to the lake next to Rumiko and picked up a flat rock and skipped it across the water's surface, making large ripples in the water. "Where'd you meet Isaac?"

Rumiko watched the rock then looked up at Unabra. "Oh, I found him when I was taking a walk. Some rogues where bothering him and throwing stuff at him. He was hurt and I saved him," Rumiko said remembering that day. He'd still had the marks from fighting off six rogues to protect a dog. But it was his dog. "They broken his leg and I took him home to my parents but they said I couldn't have him, too take him back. I couldn't leave him so I just him to Jay. She said she couldn't keep him so I took him back to the forest and nursed him back to help. I come back whenever I can to feed him." He said.

Sometimes he'd sneak out late like now to feed and check up on him and sometimes he skipped school. He looked at the ground. "I couldn've just left him there to die," he said quietly. "It would have been wrong, I had to go against my parents and Jay." He said.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "If you'd like he could come stay at my house and you could see him whenever you like. It wouldn't be a problem."

"You promise not to tell Jaymaru I kept him, or my parents for that matter," he said watching the little white pup run around playing until he slipped on a puddle of water. He laughed and shook his head.

Kinaga smiled and looked at Isaac, then back at Rumiko. "I promise. If they ask, I'll tell them I found him out in the forest while I was walking."

"Thank you sensei," he said. He sighed lightly and watched the water. He looked at it in interest. He wondered what lurked in their. He sighed.

Kinaga smiled and went over to Isaac and petted him. "It's not a problem Rumiko, not a problem at all. Actually, I think it will be kinda fun having him around the house. It's always so quiet there."

Rumiko smiled. "Tell me about it." He sighed and leaned back some. "Sensei, before you became a chunin....how many sensei's did you have?" He asked.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "Three. I had three sensei's before I became a chuunin." Kinaga looked at the water, trying to remember each one. The only one he could remember was his last sensei.

Rumiko looked at the ground. "Oh, okay," he said petting Isaac who had come back to him so that he could drty off.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "Why?" He sat down and waited for Rumiko's answer. (sorry this one is so short)

Rumiko looked at Unabara. "No reason," he said. "Just curious." He said sighing. He remebering his sensei before Kinaga and the one before him. He narrowed his eyesturning his face so it was covered in shadows and Unabra couldn't see.

"I know you had more sensei's before me, Rumiko. Did you have problems with them at all?"

Rumiko tried not to look up at Unbara, but taht was hard to do when you wanted to make sure the person didn't think something was seriously wrong with you. "No," he said dryly.

Kinaga looked back at the lake. "Okay, I won't push you to tell me if you don't want to." Kinaga looked up at the cloudless sky. It's nights like these I worry about...it'd be really hard to whip up a storm in these conditions...

Rumiko felt bad that he was pushing Kinaga away from him and thought that he'd be right if he told. He knew what happened to people who held things in for too long. They broke and did things that they'd never do in a hundred years or more. "My sensei before you and another didn't get along with me so well," he said looking into the water wishing his reflection would disappear.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "Really?" He didn't want to push his luck, but at least Rumiko was talking to him. "Why?" Well, at least he doesn't have to worry about that with me.

"I don't know," he said. "He was a jerk though. He treated the other two kids like they were royal and called me a brat who should have never signed up to be a ninja because I was worthless and a waste of time." He said. His voice sounded hurt.

Kinaga looked at Rumiko. "You shouldn't believe him, Rumiko. I don't know why he would've said that, but he was wrong." He put his hand on Rumiko's shoulder. "Disregard whatever he said, because it's all probably bull anyways," he said, and he smiled lightly at Rumiko.
