Felix looked to Aiko. "I'm not drunk," he told her. Though he was feeling alot more dizzier than before. But that was okay, it was just an effect of the drink. He was sober, Serenity on the other hand, well he didn't know about her.

Aiko smiled. "Well, if you're both, well drunk, how will you make it home tonight?" She asked. "It's getting late afterall." She said looking at her watch. Her eyes then wandered to Lyra who had fallen asleep in the midst of all of this. She should get the baby home. "I'm glad you're going to babysit her by the way. She'll be glad to have someone around to play with her."

Serenity smiled at Felix as he said that he wasn't drunk. As far as she knew, he didn't drink often, and if that was the case, she was sure that drink had at least done something to him. She shook her head at Aiko's question. "My home isn't that far from here, we'll be fine," she said with the same smile, taking yet another drink. It was a small glass, but again, she didn't want to worry Felix. But at the same time, she was determined to finish the drink before she left. She only nodded as Aiko said that she was glad Serenity was going to babysit her. "Well, like I said, it's my pleasure, I'm more than happy to do it," she said with a smile. Sure, she wouldn't have kids of her own for a while, but she could at least help raise Lyra.

Felix had thought of something when all this was going on. He remembered Serenity had kids, but the questions was, were they Jake's kids? She'd never mentioned anything about kids with him. He looked at her wanderingly. Felix then shook his head.

"If you say so," Aiko said quietly. She then looked at the baby again. "I think I should be heading home now," she said. "She's sleep and it's getting late. I guess I'll see you all around," she said with a smile. She stood up and hugged Felix and then Serenity. "Keep in touch, and Felix, don't go disappearing again without coming to see me first."

Serenity frowned lightly when Aiko said that she had to be getting home. "Aww...well, okay then," she said when Aiko said the baby was asleep. Serenity lightly hugged Aiko when the woman came over to hug her, then smiled. "See you around Aiko," she said, giving a small giggle at her comment to Felix. As Aiko started walking away, Serenity took another small drink before looking at Felix. "Should we get going too then?" she asked. There wasn't much reason for them to stay there anymore really, since she was sure Felix didn't like dancing in public.

Felix waved goodbye to Aiko. He then looked towards Serenity who was asking if they should go too. "Yeah," he said. He got up and had to immediatly sit back down as everything took a wild spin. He shook his head which didn't do much justice. "That's not good."

Serenity went to get up, but stopped when Felix sat back down. She couldn't help but give a small laugh. "Regretting having that drink?" she asked, then downed the rest of her drink before slowly getting up and going over to help him up. She was at least stable enough to stay on her feet. For now. She was sure that as soon as they got home the drink would start taking effect. Hopefully she'd fall asleep soon after. She didn't want to stay up crying, and she was sure that Felix wouldn't be able to make it home in his condition.

Felix looked at her. "Leave me alone and help me up," he said. He was glad when she did help him up so he could steady himself. Walking slowly he looked up at the sky, glad for the night air as they excited the building. "Why'd you drink the rest of the Scotch?" He asked. "Don't you think we're both going to be messed up before we get to your place?"

Serenity gave a small chuckle at his rather contradictory command. She walked next to him, keeping in step with him. When he asked why she'd drunk the rest of the scotch, she sighed. "I'll be fine, at least until we get back to my place," she said, shaking her head lightly, which she then decided wasn't such a great idea, because she'd almost got herself feeling dizzy from doing that. She knew he'd complain about her drinking at one point or another. She had just hoped that he would've at least waited until they got home.

Felix kept walking. "Until you get home? What happens when you get home?" He asked. Just speaking was making him dizzy and everything sounded wrong. "This is the last time I ever drink," he mumbled. He wanted to take a cold shower and then sleep from dusk to dawn for the nexxt week. This feeling was just horrible.

"We'll see when we get home, now won't we?" she asked with a smile. She was just hiding the fact that she was starting to feel dizzy, though speaking wasn't really helping her too much. She chuckled at his statement. Yep, she was the drinker, he was the smoker, didn't seem like that was goin to change. Though she did hope that he wouldn't pick up the habit of smoking again. Now that she'd began having a few drinks here and there, she was starting to fear that she might get back into her bad habit, though she wouldn't tell Felix. It didn't take long before they got back to her house, and when they did, she unlocked the door and walked in, closing the door behind Felix, finally feeling the drink really starting to kick in. She waited to see if Felix needed help going over to his spot or upstairs before sitting down on the couch.

Felix eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Well that was just smart of you," he said when she said they'd have to wait and see. He was glad to see the house and when he got inside he walked over to the spot near the couch and laid down on his stomach before curling into a tight ball. "I don't see how you all do it," he mumbled.

Serenity's eyes were already near closed by then. "I'm used to it," she said in almost a mumble in response. Actually, the whole reason she put up with the feeling was because it numbed her. That was it, the only reason she ever drank anything alcohol. She gave a light sigh, her gaze going off to the side. One drink just hadn't done it for her, she still felt the need to breakdown and cry. Why did Felix have to go and order that drink? If he hadn't, he probably would've ended up going home by now. But at the same time, he probably would've ended up staying to make sure she didn't do anything stupid while she was drunk. Lose-lose situation. She closed her eyes and laid her face in one of her hands.

Felix had started to doze off. An overwhelming feeling to sleep enclosing on him. He closed his eyes and then whispered. "I should go home." He was too tired to get himself up though. To dizzy to think about how illogical he was sounding. And even more, his head was starting to hurt.

Serenity opened her eyes slightly as he said that he should go home, then sat forward and looked at him. He didn't look like he was goin anywhere, but despite that, she shook her head, only to bring on a small headache. "Not in that state you're not," she said, trying to keep her eyes open. She then slid off the couch next to him and put her hand lightly on him. "Here, let's get you upstairs to your room so you don't fall asleep on the floor, okay?" she asked. Being a heavy drinker to begin with, she could still at least walk around and form coherent sentences, but her walking might not have been straight, and her sentences might've occasionally slurred a bit.

Felix opened his eyes. "I see nothing wrong with this floor," he said. He then sat up and leaned against her shoulder. Those stairs seemed like an awfully long walk from his perspective. "You sure I can't just lay here for a while?" He asked. He looked up at her. "Stop being Nurse Serenity for once."

She only smiled a bit as he said that he saw nothing wrong with the floor. "If you sleep here, you're going to be stiff in the morning," she told him, blinking when he leaned on her shoulder. That was very...un-Felix-like. She blinked again as he looked up at her and told her to stop being Nurse Serenity. "Well at least lay on the couch then if you're gonna stay down here," she said, feeling the dizziness returning a bit. She couldn't argue with him all night, but if he slept on the floor, he really would be a bit stiff in the morning.

Felix sighed and heaved himself up to his feet and started for the stairs. He didn't want to sleep on the couch. He swore he was seeing double of everything. So this is what it felt like to be drunk. How could one cup turn a person like this? He started up the stairs leaning against the wall. "Night," he said.

Serenity only gave a small smile as he pushed himself up and started for the stairs. She got up too, but slowly, because she knew better. She waited to him to start up the stairs before plopping back down on the couch. "Night Felix," she said with a small smile when he said night. She then slowly closed her eyes. She was sleeping on the couch tonight. She didn't feel like going upstairs.

Felix made it to his room and dropped onto the bed. He didn't bother to undress. He didn't have clothes here and he was just too freakin tired. Closing his eyes he was sleep within minutes. And for the first time that night he actually dreamed. It was a plesant one, but he wouldn't be getting drunk just to dream because he didn't care that much. It all seemed new and Felix didn't like new things as much as the old.

It didn't take Serenity long to pull the blanket off the back of the couch an pull it over her as she curled up facing the back of the couch. Knowing that Felix wasn't around, tears started welling in her eyes and flowing over. "Dammit, dammit, dammit...." she repeated over and over, closing her eyes tightly to blink away the tears. She felt horrible. That one drink just had not done enough for her. Closing her eyes lightly, it didn't take long before she fell asleep, curled into a ball on the couch and slept that way the whole night through, without a single dream, to her satisfaction.
